Their main guy is inexperienced when it comes to doing PMs which is fine. But had to come up with every lie to say it would get done by another Mechanic who never showed up. Just said he’s gotta shut down the shop for an inspection but pulls in another truck right afterwards. If you need anything other than a tire changed do not stop here. Loves really needs to stop hiring complete rookies and actually pay proper mechanics their worth so there isn’t nothing but babies walking around the shop.

I’ve been at this location for eight hours to get one airbag replaced. I was told to come in. There was one person ahead of me and I am still here waiting eight hours later would never come back to this location.

My dogs and I Love the Love's Travel Center in Oakwood Illinois, they have a dog park, and as soon as we pull into their stop, my 4 small dogs Bear, Charlie, Molly & Lorraine all know when we've gotten to the puppy park. They run and chase each other, usually for an hour or two. They love Love's puppy park! And the inside employee's are always so friendly too. It's Definitely a safe place to stop and get something to eat and the bathrooms are always clean. A Nice selection of food & drinks plus a Hardee's Restaurant inside too.

I wonder if you can sue loves because their cheap cup broke while you were trying to take a drink and that caused an accident?Or maybe, it already happened and that's why they don't care about how cheap their cups are and wether or not they hold your drink.

We were impressed. Clean, neat, well-stocked, and Hardee's had great omelet biscuits. Hope it's always this nice for all travelers. 😊

Always a nice experience. Decently priced gas, and good hotdog bar.Always worth visiting one especially if you are an OTR Trucker or on a long Road Trip.Also great if you like to collect shot glasses with the states name/flag on it.

Great newer Loves truck stop. There are 65 truck parking spots and about 7 more can be made just diagonal from the entrance to the fuel lanes. Clean shower's and they have a Hardee's fast food restuarant. I got here at 5:30 pm and only about 50% of truck parking is full 🙌🙌

We were able to limit a truck in for an emissions issue and they were able to plug into it and try to regen. Excellent communication, got us in and worked to get us back on the road!

Perhaps take down how to wash hands an put up how to clean shower. If you can't even sweep the floor makes you wonder what else doesn't get done. Hardee's old cold fries soggy bun. You should change 10 strips on the menu to 10 half strips. Cashier at Hardee's was only good thing at this stop friendly

Big clean truck stop. They have an incredible number of stuffed animals for sale. One of the things I don’t like about this place is that they have advertisements on the wall in front of the urinals.

Thank you Max and Josh for fixing the issues with my husbands trailer. Went through a DOT inspection in Cali and passed. The lights work perfect and the other items were good as well. You both are great workers and are a true asset to your company.

Take it from an owner operator that lives here in Oakwood. Never, ever come to this shop and think you will not get bent over and screwed by every tech here including the manager James. They are all commission based scumbags and will mis diagnose and upsell every dot inspection. They are the only truckstop shop locally so I have unfortunately had to learn this lesson more than once over the years. Save yourself the pain or bring your own lube.

Brand new. Big parking lot. Clean, let's keep it that way drivers. Great new stop. I counted 17 white cowboy hats and 3 medieval shields. Prefect stop for a group of sword fighting cowboy truckers. Roller weiners were fully stocked 🌭

Love’s is a large national chain of truck stops with private showers, truck parking, truck tires, minor truck repairs, truck diesel, snacks, drinks, trucker gear, GPS units, souvenirs, and more. I stop at different Love’s locations every week. Oh, some locations even have laundry facilities.

This Loves is great. I feel safe and the staff are pleasant to be around and if you need something just ask and there more then happy to help. Parking lot holds about 45 I think trucks. Very clean building. All around great place to stop by and grab food to go. Love it here.

I drive a truck and travel past this store twice a day 5 days a week . Allot of weeks 6 times but some Saturdays they send me west.They seem to be always steady to packed busy. I've stopped for fuel when they were as busy as it gets and still got my fuel and coffee in good time. The employees keep it moving and work together very well. If I have had to wait other then in line at the register, it was because of another driver not the store. If I could give them 4.5 stars I would and the reason I won't give them 5 is because sometimes the washer mix in the buckets for us to clean our glass, has been let go way to long without rinsing the buckets.The pumps and fuel Islands could be wiped down better at times but that's just me I have that philosophy when you step out of the truck door the first thing you see is the pumps trash area and all that. It's your first impression. The first impression on the driver gives his mindset on the rest of the visit whether he knows it or not. So to me it's important to keep that area really clean as it sets the pace for everything else. Just my opinion though. Other then that the place is great.

Nice place, food and good staff, but the shop have many excuses about why the tire pass is not working, first can't check trailer then it's not working at all, but let me be fair this happened on the after 5pm shift. The tire pass might works in the morning on the other shifts especially since the fuel desk said that it was working fine

JUST left this PERFECT Love's and I'm thrilled we were out of gas and had to stop there. Their store was clean, organized, and offered a variety of items. The bathroom was THE BEST bathroom I've been in after four weeks on the road. It was so clean I would have let my grandkids use it without hovering. And finally, the staff was very friendly and eager to help. It was a GREAT place to stop and catch our breath. Be sure and complement them when you stop by!! Thank you Love's store #750!!

Stopped by on our way back from SC to MN. Restrooms were super clean! Much better than the regular rest stops. Staff was very friendly, bringing out fresh hot food items and talking to us and our kids while they chose something.Prices are a little high, but fairly typical for a truck stop.
