I grew up living on the same block as this Jewel location for 15 years , and this is where my mom and I did all our grocery shopping . And in these years the store has grown in a very positive way. I highly recommend shopping at this location. The staff go above and beyond for the patrons.

The store I love but the cashier there moves slow as a snail, I was in line 12 whole minutes waiting to be checked out, he needed help bagging groceries, his name badge states he's been employed there for 24 years, I will never enter his line ever again in life.

I'm so livid upset is a understatement when you traveled almost two miles with a starving appetite just to purchase their $1 hotdog special, and I arrived and they don't offer no condiments with it, no ketchup or mustard is crazy to me. One upset customer, like why offer hotdog without any mustard not ketchup SMH

By far the worst jewel osco. They barely have any organic items plus their staff are the most unfriendly people I have ever met. Skip this jewel if you can unless you’re desperate. Only reason I give it two stars is because it’s open until 12

This would be a more positive review if the Bavarian cream pastry had any cream in it. Getting through the store is made more difficult by all the worker's carts blocking aisles. If not carts then workers talking to each other blocking the way. Finally, I get what I need and the checkout lanes are slow. The register had trouble accepting a clipped coupon and no less than four people tried to figure it out. I went to another lane. I'm trying to pay and workers are blocking my way. A little staff training is needed. Courtesy to the customer is the only way they will keep their jobs. On a positive note the workers in the deli were friendly and efficient.

Store has fresh items and great sales. Custom service is nice. Enjoy the self check out. I come from Texas for my family February Birthday Party and we always get our delicious for a great price that you must pay before pick up. We have so many names on the cake we are to be remembered and honor our love ones. The cake is always how we like it and gone quickly. Special celebration for our granny Nellie 90th Born Day. “Black”Older lady light skin tone with short black hair, so believe her name was Linda Family is so rude. I guess she thought I was going to steal because I am black wouldn’t leave me alone at self checkout. Get rid of self checkout and get rid of the long lines before you shadow people like a hawk! I am definitely not the type of person that steals, mom of four work five days a week! Next time, I am going to leave the whole cart right there for her to put back on the shelves! Thanks for making me so uncomfortable! Every black person don’t steal Linda!

Very polite employees that help you . Love the way a particular guy cuts my fish he's African American, but I can't remember his name . I dislike how the delivery is scheduled. The trucks take up a lot of the parking and it's usually around 9:30 am .I understand they have and need to be there, but you have a good 4-5 trucks on any given day with limited parking .I was even blocked in and day, and the driver was upset after I asked him if could I get out .I go shopping on my break so it's convenient for me at that time of day.

This was a bad experience I was doing an Uber delivery and had to shop 1 item that literally took 35 minutes to check out for there's 8 self-check out and 1 physical cashier this is ridiculous and when your an Uber shop and pay driver your rated on your speed and quality of service so I do believe that just on fri-sunday afternoon when liquor purchases are high in demand they should have cashier's available for this

I mean, I go often. Its not terrible. Jewel Osco isnt the most advanced store out there, but I will say that tbe fruit there is always perfectly fresh! 10/10 on the fruit! But the rest is standard Jewel.

Selection is limited by the size of the store, but fine for basic shopping. Certain brands available at other nearby Jewel stores aren't available here. Store is often crowded with a wait to checkout. I find the staff to be helpful and friendly, and often go here to pick up a few things, but for larger trips I tend to go to the Lake Street store. NOTE: Jewel's prices are going off the charts in many ways, and sales are often linked to purchase of multiple units of a product which disadvantages the elderly, those who rely on public transit to shop, small families or on a limited income. This tendency is beginning to interfere with Jewel's value as a place to shop and not limited to this store. On a recent trip, I noted that their prices for a number of items were $1-2 more expensive than their competitors. I understand there have been issues of late with supply chain and other factors, but Jewel or its vendors are using those problems to raise prices beyond what is justified, in my opinion.

This store is just awful. I only go because it is a few minutes from my home. Most of the staff is rude, especially this one cashier. She complains all the time, always have a scowl on her face and today, I had some donuts that were loose in the bag and one fell out so he picked it up from the dirty counter and put it in the bag. When I said I didn't want it he argued with me then slammed it in the garbage. When I asked for the manager, she was wise than the emotes. I will never go again to that location on Madison and Ridgeland in Oak Park😣

Raquel in the deli department and the gentleman in the hot foods department are always very nice and quick to make sure you're attended to quickly. Cashiers are a little slow to ring up and bag items but other than that everything is great.

For a store that's smaller than most Jewels it's good. It is well kept and stocked. The taxes here are way better than going to the city. Specialy for liquor. It can get really busy at times, depending on the time you go.

Worst Jewel ever.Small. Narrow aisles with displaus in the middle. Dirty. Deli closes early.Every single employee other than the people cleaning the deli, and the cashiers, was stand around talking to co workers.Shelves are somewhat bare.One employee wasnt doing anything in the 30 mins i was there

I am currently outside of jewel. Ive been disrespected and dismissed a few of the staff here and it is unacceptable. They locked me out of the store saying that they were closed at approximately 11:50pm when I arrived. Which is clearly not true. Google said that this location closed at 12 am. Which means that I had 10 minutes to hurry up and grab something to drink. They both got antagonistic and retaliated against me for calling them out on their decision to close early. I told them that I felt discriminated against based on my race for this horrible customer service and they continued to dismiss me and would not allow me to speak with a manager. I was respectfully during all of my interactions with the staff at this location even though some of them will say that I was not. The fact that I had to go through all of this while experiencing horrible customer service should’ve never happened. For future reference, I know that jewel staff want to leave work as early as possible. I respect that. But all I’m asking is for them to close at the time the is being advertised on Google, 12 am. Lastly, treat customer who have been supporting you store location for over a year now with a bit more courtesy, empty and respect. Don’t me as unruly for not breaking store policy.

There were no shopping carts. We had 2 wait until customers come out. At check out the person n front of me was having a hard time getting his door dash 2 work. He walks away from the station talking 2 whom ever. I ask the cashier could she void his order n take us. She said no which I know she could have. We had 2 take every item off the belt n wait n another long line. 20 minutes waiting n line. I can't/ won't come back 2 this store.

Nothing to report here people. Excellent place to shop and grab whatever last minute items you may need for dinner. The staff is extremely helpful in all aspects, especially when perusing the aisles in search of anything. Definitely a go to!

This Oak Park Jewel is so small and so slow, we go here because it's convenient, the only Jewels grocery that has our favorite bottle, water deja blue. Bags,. .10¢..and they are strict about not giving one free. 🤨
