Most of the people here are friendly. But over the months, the care for the fish have gone downhill the saltwater tanks you can barely even see the fish because they don’t clean the glass. The freshwater tanks always have dead fish. But how are you supposed to buy fish when you can’t even see them? It is not that hard to get a scraper and spend five minutes scraping the glass.

I was looking for live plants for our aquarium and Georgeanna was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I have medical issues and she was kind enough to bring my purchases to the register and checked me out. Petco should be proud to have a person of this caliber working them.

I came in to use my $20 coupon. Not only did I get the dog food I needed at a great price, but I brought home two female Herman's tortoises. Sue, my sales person, was very sweet and really cares about the animals in her care. She had all the background information on the tortoises which made me happy about my choice to bring them in my family.

Over Charged. Let me explain. Today I picked up a reptile starter kit that's discounted to 49.99. Originally 99.99. IL sales tax is 10.25%. My purchase has me paying $10.25 in taxes. It should be $5.12. I was told by Sue (manager) to contact Customer service she couldn't help. Then Customer service told me that I only can get help from the store.I'm not sure if anyone sees this as a issue but that's more than a gallon of gas. Anyone can use that! I wonder how many people have been hit with this and how do I get my money back???

Great service. Much better than PetSmart. Got rabies shot for cat and was able to schedule the time, o wait. Unlike, PetSmart, if you prepaid for a bundle, you can keep going ahead of those who didn't prepay and they keep letting them jump the line no matter when they come in.

Awesome store. They have way higher quality product than their big box competitor (we all know who that is lol) I wouldn't say they are the cheapest place but the quality is there if your anything like myself who tries to give their animals quality products. The cashier Brid or Brig (couldn't hear her) but it's short for Bridgette is absolutely fantastic! She is by far the most knowledgeable person I have ever delt with in a Pet store. I will without a doubt change this location store to be my new dedicated pet store for the reason of quality product and Bridgette's customer service. She deserves a raise for sure ! She's nice, polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable ! She even helped me find better products than the one I chose and gave me a few options knowing my goal is to give my dog quality prodict 5/5 stars. Would definitely recommend!

I brought me dog in for grooming and they said that my dog hair was matted and charged me for dematting it, but instead they shaved my dog bald and made me pay first before viewing the work and when I called for a refund the manager said I agreed to let them shave my dog bald in the middle of a Chicago winter! I was refunded the money but I will not return there for service again, please beware! Check the before and after photos

I took my dog there for the first time to have him groomed the groomer Nicole did a terrible job when I picked him up he looked very dingy. Especially his paws, I can tell right away that they were not clean. I asked them whether or not he was bathed, got into a big argument with the manager, because he is insisted that I was supposed to know about some special shampoo, Which was not offered to me. but I can look at my dog and tell that she took so much time trying to cut him which she did a bad job That she didn’t get a chance to bathe them. I’ll never take him back there again.

the staff here has positive energy. You can tell they love being there. I took my 5 month old Black Lab in for grooming. Hollis was GREAT with him. I asked for advice on his shedding and he recommended Merrick (no chicken). He was helpful and you could tell he loves his job. At the vets they have trouble trimming his nails and Hollis said it took him 5 mins and my puppy did good! Definitely going back!

I brought my Pomeranian for a haircut, showed photos of how I wanted the cut and they didn't do anything I asked for, they shaved his back, which I never asked for. I am so angry that I will never take him to that place again, they don't know anything about dog haircuts.

This store has employees that are less than helpful. They are unwilling to answer questions or get someone that can even when they aren’t doing anything. The manager was kind, however, the class I signed up for was cancelled but I wasn’t notified. Store isn’t clean!
