I love this place. The owner knows his stuff, and lives to create opportunities for people to hang out (masked and socially distanced.) His corals and other livestock are varied and kept very carefully. He also sells phytoplankton that he uses to feed his corals - this stuff is great.Bring cash if you are buying - he'll make you a good deal.

Let me start with, why do people always want to complain about the most frivolous points. And then they always want to give a negative review over the smallest things that really don't have any merit. This is a great place to shop for corals . JJ was awesome, she was very knowledgeable and helped me out very much . My daughter and I had a blast talking to her today . This will be my definite go to shop ! This is Great place to go and buy corals. I don't think anyone will be able to beat their prices. You won't be disappointed buying from them.

I swear these prices are the best prices you can find in Chicago. I got my elegance coral and mushroom leather coral from these guys and they are thriving like crazy. I’m absolutely in love with my elegance. 10/10 would recommend!

First and foremost this place is owned by a true hobbyist his store is basically an adult size clubhouse for reefers!The owner offers coral at very friendly prices. If he didn't have overhead im 100% sure he would be even lower.I drove 6 hrs to hangout which he encourages. Very attentive to customers and if i lived closer would be my hangout

Just wanted to give a shout out to Reef Geeks of Chicago finally got to swing by and so glad we did. Spent 60 bucks and left with more than we could get anywhere near us. The staff there were awesome, informative, educational and friendly really can't ask for a better experience. I will post pics once the new adds are acclimated. Seriously you need to go check this place out if you haven't yet. Nothing like giving your money to someone that you know enjoys the hobby and making your experience the best it can be. Thank you. Super friendly staff makes you want to hang out and spend more :)

Visited the shop...unfortunately smells like someone was smoking marijuana inside. Couldn't stay very long with my daughter and wife. Prices were not that great.

Came here to buy some corals as a gift. Louis was very good with suggesting the right corals based on the aquarium setup and customized a variety pack based on my price range. They have a huge variety! Would recommend.

If you've never experienced the beautiful depth of the ocean (like me) ,take a ride to this place. It's like scuba diving and seeing all the coral colors, shapes, and some illuminate which is amazingly beautiful. Learned alot from store owner who was very helpful. Prices are fair, can't wait to go back.I Love my corals!!!

I’ve been to numerous shops around the suburbs and wow those shops are terrible, the corals are rotting in most places. Has been a great help to me and my tank. A Better Business in Aquarium Industry and still growing. Interactive Facebook Page that makes You feel like one of the Family with updates and Live videos on New arrivals and Sales. Better then Wholesale. Website getting better all the time. Shop around but don’t spend a dollar till You visit the Reef Geeks. It’s like shopping with double the money.

Overpriced. Shady prices. If you don’t know how much cost coral and new in this hobby. They will charge you a lot . Charge me for coral 250 that I found later cost 100$ online
