We’ve recently moved out to the burbs from the city and we were looking for a new groomer for our nearly 4 year old pup and saw the great reviews. I’ve taken our bernedoodle to at least half a dozen places….we’ve only come here once so far but this is hands down best cut my dogs ever gotten!

I took my little dog for his summer cut last week and we had a great experience! The owner and master groomer fit him in same day, which was much appreciated but not expected. He had been there for the first time a couple months ago for just a nail trim and sanitary trim, and she threw in a mini trim for free! He came back looking like a star both times.She doesn't cage any of the dogs, they hang out with her and the other groomer in the work area. When I told her he might be scared of the bigger dogs, she tried to put him in his own space but he was so comfortable with the bigger dogs that I said if he's feeling okay that he can hang out with the other dogs.She has a firm but gentle hand with the dogs and there was no wailing or barking heard while I waited about 15-20 mins in the front.There are clean gated compartments behind the counter for dogs that might need to be secluded.

Myong is a master at her craft!! She’s been grooming Archie since he was 6 months old and we refuse to go elsewhere. She is all business and does it well, and Archie is always so happy when we pick him up, and of course looks like a fresh angel. We will not take our maltipoo anywhere else and have referred all of our friends and clients to her.

We love this place. Our corgi Pippa has tons of hair and she really shears her down good. Pippa has always been nervous or anxious at groomers — but not barks and bows!! Quick and efficient too. Highly recommend

Wow 🤩 Beyond impressed with Myong. She is truly gifted at her craft. My GoldenDoodle has extra curly hair, she finds a way to clean everything up where he leaves looking like a model. They did an AMAZING job on my giant Great Dane. And he’s really giant, he hovers around 200 pounds. They cleaned up all his slobber, gave him a nice shampoo and deshedding, and handled his nails perfectly. His nails are so thick because of his sheer size, so it can sometimes be difficult. Not for Barks & Bows! They clipped and dremeled and did everything perfectly. When I walked in and was greeted, I told them his name was “Biden the Dog.” Everyone in the back was so sweet saying “the President is here!” and “Hi Mr President!” while giving him cuddles and love. They also had me in first thing in the morning so he wouldn’t have to go in a crate because he’s too big for crates. They’re really kind and loving dog people. Highly recommend taking your dogs of any size here. Biden the Dog and I will be back monthly!

I took my 1.5 year old Golden retriever here to get a bath/haircut. They were able to fit me in same day, which was very appreciated because most grooming places are heavily booked lately (COVID). She was done within an hour, which was nice because Petco usually takes 3+ hours. The shop is very clean and dog themed- very welcoming! My Juno looks amazing, super soft, smells great, and still has the long golden retriever shagginess but with a clean look. This place is reasonable price (Same as Petco and most groomers) and they added cute little bows and a bandana, which was a very nice touch. First timers get a $10 discount! This place is about 30minutes from where I live but I will definitely be making the drive over the next time my pup needs grooming! 10/10 would recommend! ❤️

Amazing Job AND our puppy was not terrified to be there! when I went to be pick her up she was happily following the owner around and was in no hurry to leave. You do have to book a few weeks ahead to get a spot.

Myong is the best groomer I have ever met! She is so good to the dogs she grooms. They are allowed to roam free instead of being in cages. She is very kind and patient with dogs that are nervous. My puppy was afraid of the dryer so she put a headband on him to lessen the noise. 5 stars!

I can not say how happy I am with the service, kindness, respect and professionalism. This was my first time bringing my two Yorkies to Barks and Bows. My one Yorkie is so difficult and doesn't like grooming and nail trimming. The owner was so patient, kind and just amazing with him. The adorable cheetah bow (for my boy dog) and the pink bows and bow collar (for my girl dog) was the best!! We will definitely be coming back!

I’ve only groomed my dog one and she hated it. She’s short haired so I would bath her at home. I also would take her to get her nails clipped at Krisers and the last time they were mean to her!! I was so nervous but Myong was amazing and so nice to my little girl! She did a great job and even trimmed her fur a little to helpWith shedding. Then we left something behind and she went out of her way to drop it off so I didn’t have to go back out in the cold. My dog was excited to see her again, that confirmed that she’s great. She’s got a new faithful customer now.

Owner is pretty no nonsense but that's ok, no need for small talk as long as you get the job done. She did a fantastic job grooming my shih tzu-maltese mix. He was there for a much shorter time than he's been at Petsmart which typically takes 3 or 4 hours. He smelled and looked great and was so soft for several days afterwards. I highly recommend this place and have recommended it to others as well.

The shop is clean, which makes me want to come back. Because of the groomer's many years of experience, I felt comfortable trusting them with my dog. My dog was groomed here for the first time and they did so well that I was surprised by the result. I definitely recommend them - you will not regret it!

I am thrilled Myong has opened her own shop. She has known Sandydog for years. I took her last week, she is soo gentle as Sandydog is 15 yrs now. She clipped her nails for fussy dog and cleaned ears.. Both tasks Sandy dreads..,She is such a akillful artist with the scissors, too.Forget the group at Petsmart across the street.. too stressful an enviroment and interruptions.Check out Myong at Barks and Bows... awesome.
