I went for grooming services and shop for my dog’s food and treats. David did an amazing job at grooming my pup. My dog’s mom had jumped off the table and died years ago, which has made me nervous to take my dog to a groomer. My dog also had a broken back prior making both of us anxious on how he is handled. David was very reassuring and made me feel better through the process. Pickup and drop off went smooth. There was also a young lady who cashed me out weeks ago and she had the brightest attitude. She was the definition of customer service. The manager, I think with dark curly hair and mustache has also been very respectful and helpful not to just customers, but associates. I’m always very iffy about big businesses mishandling my dog, but the employees were great! I look forward to more trips here!

Buying one fish from them killed a $1000 worth of fish that we have had for years. Do not buy fish from them. Think before you buy, do not make the same mistake I did. We had exotic fish.We maintain are tank with a professional.Every two weeks we bought one fish from them and within three days all of our fish had ick Call the manager of coursecshe did nothing but say oops

They do a good job on grooming my baby. He’s big and strong and they don’t seem fazed by him at all. Always comes home smelling good and they don’t charge extra for the fact he has 25 nails to be trimmed :-)

Took my 5 month old shih tzu to his first grooming appointment with Dawn and let me tell you how upset I was. She said she would trim around the eye area but it look so ugly uneven on side had longer hairs then the other was not worth my $80 also my puppy came out with cherry eye I was scared I didn’t know what that was and when I asked they lady that handed him to me went to the back to ask Dawn and came back saying it was because he was stressed out but this lady Dawn never came to address the situation no customer service what so ever I wanted to know if he had been okay for his first time if he had stayed calm but how could I ask if she was hiding in the back I’m so unsatisfied with the job done Dawn you should really stop grooming dogs period!

To say I am impressed is an understatement. From the lady who checked my dog in to the technicians who are both so helpful ,caring and knowledgeable to finally the Dr who went so far above and beyond explaining everything and helping me to understand some of the medical information so I could fully understand everything. Each and every person was exceptional . But I have to admit the lady who checked us in actually remembering my dog and what we discussed weeks ago when I was in the clinic was so impressive. All I can say is the staff and Dr are all excellent at there jobs. I have told friends and family just how good they are !!!!!!

Visiting my local PetCo was as smooth as it always is. My customer service interaction was with Eddie Campbell, who is always friendly and super helpful. He’s usually my customer service experience and is always flawless. Great experience at this store always!

Friendly staff and cool number of pets in there. The tanks and displays were a bit dirty but it’s all good. The glofish were cool to see. There’s plenty of dog food options in the back. They have a bunch of reptiles and amphibians in the center too. The birds were reallly active and curious too

I have a new shelter dog who has not been trained yet. I brought her to Victoria at PetCo North Riverside for a bath and badly needed nail treatment. Victoria did a great job on everything.

I was going to be a first time customer for grooming to this location, (since i found it to be closer than another petco I always went to) and they canceled on me twice in a row. The other Petco location tells me both appointments showed canceled by me, which is not true. This Petco called me to cancel both of my appointments, not the other way around. So not only are you causing me an inconvenience in having to rebook and wait close to 2 months to groom my dog, (who is now matted because of the extra wait, thank you for that) you're also lying about the cancelation reasons to cover your behind. Unbelievable. Don't even attempt to go here. Haven't walked past the door and I'm already getting a bad experience.

Terrible they dont allow customers to use the washroom. I spend so much money at this store. Have recently adopted a kitten and in the past adopted guinea pigs and only purchase food treats toys housing cages and only use this vet for all my animals and my 5 yr old couldnt use the washroom. This is so sad and terrible. No more petco for this family

I came to return an aqueon 50 pump, to exchange for another one. It has a lifetime warranty. I had done so in the past with no problem. They said the policy changed, in the meantime one of my fish had died because they said I had to go through the manufacturer now, which I have also done and my pump is being replaced. So what, now you don't want to go through the paperwork?! I thought you were in a "pet care" business. This is not pet care. No suggestions were made. I ended up buying an air stone which I am using in the meantime and it is working until I get my pump from the manufacturer, which you could have easily done. I've done a lot of shopping here over the years, I don't think I will be doing any more in the future. I will go out of my way to go somewhere else. Thank you for nothing.

Items at this location aren’t placed on shelves correctly. I was going to purchase an item the price there was $8.49 got to the register the item rang up for $17.99 the manager said someone probably placed all of the same item incorrectly she would not honor the price. First and last time to shop there.

I had booked a grooming appointment and was told to drop my dog off earlier for the appointment bc I couldn’t bring him exactly at 1pm. When I showed up, I found out that they had booked for the earlier window without communicating to me that I needed to arrive exactly at that time and wouldn’t honor my appointment. Such a frustrating experience as it was my first time trying this location I’m not sure I’ll be using them moving forward.

I took my puppy for his grooming appointment. Jose did a good job of frooming my puppy, Gucci. It just takes so much time, though...almost 5 hours. And there is NO waiting area! The store was clean, but the mats at the front doors needs cleaning because I could smell and order coming from them. Staff is friendly, helpful and patient. The store is well organized. I also take my puppy there for his Vet Doctor visits.

I took my cat to get hus nails trimmed Lisa was amazing she took her time with and made the experience very pleasant. I just got this cat 4 days ago so needless to say I was nervous. I'm planning to bring him back to Lisa for all his grooming needs

It was very good! I needed the Frontline ASAP and was so pleased to get it so quickly. I also appreciated the discount available for order online and pickup. While I was there I decided to try a new brand of cat food for my cats.I think one of the tubes was defective however. Not your fault. When I tried to get the liquid onto my cat nothing came out. I took it to the sink and pressed the tube again and the liquid shot out! I was glad that didn't happen on my cat. This has to be done slowly.Anyway, thank you.

My go-to for cat treats or new toy when I'm returning amazon packages next door. Prices are slightly on the higher end. The staff is very attentive and are ready to help. For pet food or other large items, Amazon is still the way to go for cheaper prices.

I wanted to take a moment to update my review, as I have purchased my 3rd tarantula here. Dave, who specializes in reptiles, assisted me. He was very knowledgeable about topics like the date of the last molt for this specific tarantula, the general temperament of them, and offered to either put him in a cup or box, depending on the preference of the customer (which I have never seen before). When I arrived, he put the tarantula directly into the enclosure that I brought, which saved me a lot of hassle and nervousness, because tarantulas can bolt. It also saved the tarantula stress from transferring to two new environments. I was extremely pleased with my experience working with Dave, due to his patience, kindness, and knowledge.

This first time visiting this location North Riverside Mall the gentleman on the floor was very helpful getting what I needed the prescription food for my cat. Mr. Paul at the cash register was very helpful as well.

Always a good place for your pet needs from dogs to hamsters fish u name it I love just going there to look at the animals they have or see the difrent kinds of dogs and pets that come in from other customers who bring them, I usually go there for pet food and so on for my dog but they have allot of other options it's definitely worth the visit
