They are amazing!! This store has everything you need. The produce is fresh which is important to me. I love everything about this store. I actually just used the app to order food, and that was outstanding. They pay attention to detail and instructions. This is the only place that I will order from because they listen to their customers. I love Woodman’s, and I will travel A little further for groceries because of the quality and customer service! Thank you!

Cashier in the liquor department, he could've been a little more pleasant. Doesn't hurt to smile. You never know what someone is going through. I told him to have a good day and hope the rest of his day got better.

The only grocery store chain to stay open 24 hours after you-know-what. Huge store and it's almost all groceries. If there are other things like toys or clothing they take very little space. I find varieties there that I can't find elsewhere. It took a few trips to get to know some aspects to the organization, since certain item types are split into multiple locations or are non-intuitive. I suggested an item when it was fairly new and could only find it at Jewel, and Woodman's started carrying it. Now I can always count on finding it there.Because of my schedule and preference, I usually shop at night and the checkout staff (self checkout only at night) are super helpful.My slight problem is that at night they pile rows of boxes right in front of the shelves, prior to actually stocking them. Although they have never been an absolute problem for me reaching what I needed, I do sometimes have to twist and reach...not the safest arrangement and I don't think patrons should be put in a physical position of competing with boxes of goods forming garrisons.An actual problem I have is that they allow healthy young adults to PLAY on the carts intended for disabled people. I don't think this should ever be allowed to START and I am not sure after 30 minutes (after midnight 1/6/2024) of yelling, racing, nearly bumper car behavior, that it was ever stopped short of the high school age kids getting bored. Definitely not acceptable and a big turn-off, and I doubt a proper manager happened to see this happening as Woodman's is employee owned and I doubt anyone wants insurance costs if the kids would have run into shoppers or some display with lots of jars. Hey midnight management, Cleanup on Aisle Grabass!!!!

If your looking for unique foods your local grocery store doesn't have, chances are Woodman's will. Also an amazing cheese selection and a great liquor department with tons of options.

This store is definitely a good one and also one of the best locations for Woodman’s Market. First of all, the parking was so easy and there was a lot of space. Second, the store is clean and well-organized. The majority of the products they have are fully stocked, so even if I buy a lot of a certain product, there are still a lot of stocks that are available. There are also some products that have limited stocks or there are only a few stocks left. When it comes to quality, their products are of good quality and, on my observation, far from the expiration date, and their produce and meat are fresh and of good quality as well. Third, the prices here are so great and definitely much better than at any other grocery store. I could tell you that the prices of their products are literally way cheaper compared to the prices of any grocery store. If you really want to save, then this grocery store is for you. Lastly, another good thing about this store is their service. The customer service here is great. The employees are friendly, approachable, attentive and helpful to each customer. I definitely like this grocery store. If I could only choose one grocery store in this area, then I would choose this one without any hesitation.

First time in a Woodman's! The store was clean, the two associates I spoke with were friendly and they had every product I could have ever wanted and a million more. Kringles, Faygo, Utz, Brekki were some of the things I was super happy to come across. My only complaint is there isn't one closer to where I live!

Update 2/7/24:The employees at the self checkouts could be friendlier instead of having a grumpy face. They only earn income because of us, the least they can do is greet each customer and wish each customer a good day. This is usually in the morning before 8 am. Other than that, the store is clean and products are well stocked. I had no problem finding everything I needed.Employees are friendly. Produce and meat department quality are sub par depending on what you get. Prices are reasonable. Food selection is massive. They accept cash, check, debit, and Discover credit card. Gas is the cheapest around but it can be busy at times. Store is open 24/7.

There's a very good reason I drive literally one hour to shop Woodman's, in fact there's too many reasons. From the best prices to the widest selections, to--I give up. What's YOUR good excuse not to shop at Woodman's, eh?!Albeit, I believe I'm half in agreement that spending a boatload for a shipload isn't brilliant, but erm, when you've too many good deals, what else shall you do? Have a heyday of course!Frankly, I love Woodman's so much its acrostic actually the reason I remain in Illinois: Woodman's.

You must check the dates on every single thing you buy. The number of expired products we have found or accidentally purchased is ridiculous. I should not be purchasing an item in December that expired in August, considering how long expiration dates are, that tells you how old the product is. Have been shopping at this woodman’s location since it opened. And this has always been an issue.

Woodman's is a HUGE grocery store with aisles and aisles!! The produce selection is very nice. Prices were reasonable. My only complaint is that they only take the Discover card and debit. That can be limiting for some.

The staff are really friendly, the prices are reasonable. For me it's a plus the fact that the store stays open 24 hours. It's really settled down around 8pm. Plus I love the atmosphere it feels like you walked back into the 80's.

Cheapest gas prices around!!!Busy gas station but the savings are worth it. We always stop here when we're in the area. It's almost 40 to 75 cents cheaper than Cook County. So we fill up when we're nearby.Car wash is priced nicely also.

Has everything you need and then some. Marked and arranged intelligently. Though quite large, if you’re looking for hard to find quality items, you’ll find it here. Moved to Northwest Indiana where there’s no Woodman’s presence. Have to wait for my Wednesday visits to get what I need. Prices are competitive so I don’t mind much paying the Illinois taxes on food. Indiana doesn’t tax food items. If you want to find that tea, creamer, or cheese curds you can’t find elsewhere, go to Woodmans. While you’re there fill your tank with the lowest gas prices around.

Best store ever! Why would anyone shop for groceries anywhere else? Nice people, clean, has everything you need and more! PRICES ARE LOWEST AROUND. Makes you really mad when shopping at Jewel, for instance, how they can charge twice as much for the same item.I know it's a large store, but the layout of items and categories is very logical. Tons of parking and even have pickup.

Expired products ALERT!Never thought ill write this type of review about woodman’s but yes purchased an expired yoghurt and worse is when i went to return the product back the lady at customer service was acting like i owe her something.
