This Walmart is a hit or miss. The layout is fine. The prices are fine. There is plenty of parking. If you opt for pickup, there are many spaces for that.My main issue is with the staff. When coming in, depending on who is working, some greet you and some don't.The self checkout is sometimes a nightmare to deal with. I was there recently and the machine would not weigh correctly. The machine then said a staff member was on the way. However the staff member was just standing at the employee podium just watching everyone. I had to wave the employee down to do an override.If you need a place to go for groceries or other items, it is a decent place to go. The main issue for me was the staff.

On April 7th, 2024, all hotels in Bloomington were booked. All but one. It was time to check in to the Wally Hotel. I walked in 10 minutes before close to check in with the concierge. She warmly greeted me and assured me that many rooms were available tonight, I just needed to provide my own car.I used the tastefully flooded bathroom, and walked back to my car. I moved it to a dimly lit spot, pulled out my sleeping bag, and climbed into my backseat. The hospitality crew had placed a semi truck near my room, whose soft rumbling guided me to sleep.I woke up well rested and happy. A great night at the Wally Hotel.

The autocenter closed 2 early, but they didn't update the website. I needed a battery. The only saving grace was that the service department let me purchase the battery. The downside was that they could not look up my battery warranty info.

I was here yesterday 12/7/23 at around noon and Anthony was working the checkout when I came up with supplies to purchase for my class party. I decided I needed to write a review because I saw him go above and beyond with the customers before me in the staffed checkout lane, and then he was incredibly cool to me too. He of course rang up my items as normal, but his attitude and personality were worth mentioning and hyping up to management. He asked me about my class and what I do, he asked about my students too and honestly made my day with how friendly he was. This guy definitely deserves a raise, but a shout out was the least I could do for someone who manages to be so cool calm and collected (and nice!) while doing the work that he does. Thank you, Anthony!

Went in to use the restroom and there is literal feces on the floor, I then had fly’s crawling on me while using the restroom. Also every time I order online, items are out of stock and when I go to have them deliver for free it says my address is invalid for delivery then I try my parents and same thing so I have to go to another store anyways. Also enough carts in parking lot to cause car damage

I love shopping at Walmart good prices I just don't appreciate when they have those workers standing in the middle of the floor watching check the real ones that are stealing not the ones shopping and bagging themselves check the real ones that are stealing I never in my life stole from no where I work for what I want my dad teach me from right to wrong is very sad should be ashamed that's why there's cameras inside the stores to watch everythingeverything

Normal, IL Walmart has some pretty friendly employees! It’s Walmart after all so you know if you meet a nice employee it’s worth mentioning. They do need to update the building as it needs it. Not the employees fault. Their produce is pretty good too!!!

Often, there's only one open lane, making checkout times longer, especially for those who prefer not to use self-checkout. It would greatly improve the shopping experience if Walmart invested in hiring more cashiers to accommodate customers who may not be comfortable with automated systems. Additionally, reverting to a 24-hour schedule instead of closing at 11 pm would be beneficial for those with varying schedules, further enhancing Walmart's commitment to customer convenience.

Amazing crew will visit again. The lady at the far left cashier Indian - she’s a little lazy. Lol it’s all good thought I might have reacted differently if I wanted to say something but she was a little rude. Her department was the outdoor. I also like the fact they support the local people :). Keep it up 👍. Amazing honestly.

Well, it's a McDonald's, but it's still bad even in a McDonald's scale. People just blindly throw all the ingredients in the package and you just gotta pray that somehow it ends up being a sandwich. Always getting smashed birgers with literally everything outside in the wrapper. Also you literally never get any sauce if you order online.

Looking for a camera that wasn't stupid expensive...found a decent Canon for reasonable price. Had a difficult time at a competitor they didn't have any cameras for 400.00 or less. And I found cover and case for my phone that I didn't at other place. A good day for all.

I warn against starting an online account with this company and using a credit card. I discovered that they then track every purchase you make with that credit card and badger you for specific purchase feedback every time you visit their store. Some products being priced lower is not worth this level of personal tracking.

Update: the quality of items for curbside pickup just keeps getting worse! Multiple damaged items when we picked up our last order! I guess this Walmarts pickup area for online ordering is just as bad if not worse then the Bloomington one. When you arrive and check in but they never bring out your order they don’t leave customers any choice but to cancel orders. Hopefully they get this fixed soon, but it’s Walmart so I’m sure they won’t!

I like that they are open late (excluding some holidays) and that it is a 1-stop shop. Staff is frequently working to bring in carts, ring up customers, and stocking shelves. I go in, grab my stuff, and leave. Their prices are usually lower than other places around town.

This store is truly A wreck - I live a few minutes away from this location but drive 15 minutes out of my way to the Market location because it's ran better. The manger with the beard , jeans , polo is usually just standing around talking. Today he's standing at customer service complaining about customers complaining that customer service was closed early.There's no urgency to help or take care of customers for him and most of the staff Please do better -

Appreciate your services so much. The Money Center helped acquire some much needed cash sent via Ria. Also, due to being exhausted, I had left my cane in the cart. Went and got it the next day (today) and Customer Service was so very friendly and kind. Lastly, she said there a lot of canes in Lost and Found, fyi ;)
