Nothing better than stopping here for a sweet treat! Pictured is a deliciously recommended flavor by one of the worker. Lavender Lemon Cookie! So good! A blend of sweetness with a touch of spring! Such a cool vibe in the shop as well! Definitely recommend!

We stopped in after lunch with family one day and since my four year old was so well-behaved at lunch, we decided to treat him to ice cream. He absolutely loved his chocolate ice cream with sprinkles. 😊 And that espresso ice cream I chose was delectable! The girls were very friendly and the ice cream was delicious. We aren't from Bloomington area, but if we are in that town again, we will definitely try to stop by there again.

Grabbed two varieties go-to tonight! Both were super creamy and had great flavor! Butter Pecan was absolutely LOADED with pecans, and the Cookie Monster had great quality *fresh-made* cookie dough. Kids will love the fact that Cookie Monster is blue, parents will love that it's colored using all natural dye. In both flavors you can taste the high quality ingredients - it's definitely real cream! I love that they are prioritizing partnerships with other local businesses for their flavors - the bacon in "Gettin Piggy Wit It" is smoked at The Brass Pig! Definitely check this place out!

The theos sundae and sweet and salty pretzel sundaes are below average and not worth the price. The vanilla is very lacking and unsatisfactory. Just pretty unremarkable. This is definitely a spot you go to for the aesthetic.

This was our 1st time at Theo’s and we were so impressed! What a wonderful experience! The shop is bright and clean and the patio is gorgeous. I tried the peach cobbler (flavor of the month for August) and my picky 5 year old son surprisingly ventured outside the box and ordered a scoop of cotton candy ice cream on top of his usual vanilla! He ate the ENTIRE cone! The staff (Alyssa) was so sweet and patient with him as he practiced his manners when ordering (we are working on saying "may I have" rather than just "vanilla cone, please." I also really appreciated the dog water bowl station on the patio. What a thoughtful touch! After this trip to a REAL ice cream shop Edwin has finally decided on his Halloween costume... He is going as an ICE CREAM MAN! So, the experience clearly made a huge impression on him! Thank you, Theo's for a wonderful experience today! We definitely will be back

Dairy free consumers beware. The raspberry sorbet was a sticky, gooey concoction that leaves a lot to be desired. It was very artificial, right down to the bubble gum pink dye. The staff was friendly, though.

Nice little shop on an alley corner just north of campus. Not busy when we stopped in, but staff was polite and the store was clean. Ice cream was delicious, as were milk shakes. Would recommend based on our experience. They will let you sample a flavor, just don't go crazy.

Still the best place to take the grands when in Bloomington/Normal! And beautiful weather so we sat outside at their tables. Has a clean bathroom inside too. We all took different types of hot fudge sundaes and all 4 of us enjoyed them all!

I got 1 scoop of the vegan gluten free Oreo ice cream. The ice cream was very good, not gritty like other vegan ice creams. They have done a nice job redoing the inside of the store. Compared to other local ice cream shops the prices are extremely high. I paid $6.09 for 1 scoop of ice cream in a paper cup.Edit after store reply: I forgot to mention I included my $1 tip in the $6.09 total. Reply is correct. If you do not provide a service tip the total for 1 scoop of vegan ice cream is $5.09.

This is easily my favorite ice cream place in town! Every flavor I have tried has been delicious. The Cookie Monster is my daughter's favorite. The smoothies I have had are delicious too. Friendly service! Highly recommend!

Super friendly staff and such a good variety of sundaes, shakes, malts, and scoops. Their waffle cones are delicious! They even have vegan/dairy free and sundaes for you pup! Hands down best ice cream in town!

Theo’s is by far our favorite family ice cream shop. We love trying all of the new flavors each month and love the vegan options, as well. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and patient with kiddos :) we are so lucky to have this place nearby and plan to be frequent visitors!

Not bad. Quaint little ice cream joint in Uptown Normal. Friendly staff. We had the classic sundae and the cookie monster sundae. Both were good, though the cookie monster ice cream had no graham cracker... (just chips ahoy and Oreo) which to us is ice cream sacrilege 😉

I stopped on my way back from Chicago while I waited for my ride, 3 weeks ago, and I had the best most delicious amazing Key Lime Pie ice cream cone In my life! I live in East Peoria and Iam ready to go back for more! Guys this place is amazing. Creamy yummy ! Great service and altogether incredible ❤️

Initially I was sad when I saw that Emack and Bolios went out. After trying Theo's, though, I no longer feel that way. Their ice cream is phenomenal and unmatched. The restaurant is clean and the employees are friendly. I think Theo's will be my new favorite ice cream spot in town!

This is my Monday spot for ice cream. I wish they opened before 2pm though because I always have to hurry to work. But at least they are open on Mondays, because some other small business ice cream places aren't. The ice cream is pretty good but I hate how such a classic flavor such as mint chip has oreos in it. I hate oreos and I feel that they completely ruined it with the oreos in it.

Vegan. Gluten Free. Oreo Ice Cream. Actually Creamy & Delicious.With the change from Emack to Theo's I wasn't sure how things were gonna go.What did I expect? Usually dairy free options are chalky, crystallized, and gritty.What did I get? Creamy deliciousness. The only noticable difference between the vegan ice cream and traditional ice cream is a slight coconut flavor. I'm fairly certain the base is condensed coconut milk or coconut cream. I notice it, but it's subtle.I don't want to know the fat content, but whatever the calories are - it's worth it. It's such a treat.6/5 Stars. Exceptional quality dairy free options.
