On two separate occasions I have purchased fence boards for pick up at the Normal store. Cramming 6' boards into a little Fiesta is tricky but both times the staff was able to do so without damaging the interior of my car. This store is known for the courteous staff but I am especially thankful that both Mike and Jackson took the time to help me. With a smile.

I can't say enough about how amazing my shopping experience was at Home depot today! Kelly was incredibly helpful and kind, and Ulices was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful helping me find birch and dogwood. Mikk was also amazing and carried my curbside order to my van and loaded it for me! I will absolutely be giving my business to home depot in Normal from now on, and want to say how big of an asset Kelly, Ulices, and Mikk are to your team.

The employees are always helpful and they have everything that you need most of the time. If not you can easily check on the app to see if it's in stock and order it for free to the store.

I'm super excited about this purchase, and the employees are always very helpful. The self checkout is so easy, especially if you have gift cards. This store had the item for $99, while everyone else had it for $219.99.

Gentleman who worked here named Austin was literally carrying a whole pallet over his head, but STILL asked us if we needed help when he was like 20 feet away. Literally stopped what work he was doing to help us. If the rest of the team is this kind, I won't take my business anywhere else.

Service and selection have definitely been on the decline at this location. Typically, if you just need to run in and grab something and hit the self-checkout, not a problem (unless you have a price discrepancy then bets are off). But if you have a situation of needing help, its a roll of the dice, usually with an unfavorable outcome. For example, tried to buy a grill today. We asked an associate and they seemed puzzled we needed help. Then after explaining the grill was on a high shelf and we needed someone to get it down, she said she'd get someone, then we proceeded to wait. After 35 minutes of waiting and trying to see if help was on the way, we gave up. Went to Ace Hardware and they had the grill in the car for us in around 10 minutes. Probably would have been quicker but we shopped for grill accessories. It's really difficult to recommend Home Depot as they don't seem to be interested customers or in selling products.
