I would like to acknowledge Scott in the self-check-out area. I have shopped for multiples of a product several times lately, and Scott has been extremely helpful in making this process as easy as possible. Kudos to Scott!

This is a very well stocked Kroger! Lots of different items. Sometimes messy but not dirty at all. Lots of self checkout at this store as well.

Old people working the self checkout have no manners. Breathing down my neck while scanning my items and touching/rearranging my groceries at the end of the conveyor belt. If I wanted help scanning/bagging my groceries I would have gone to a cashier.

I'm from California and wanted to send a friend some flowers who lived near this Kroger. It's difficult trying to send something like flowers when you don't see exactly what's being sent, or the condition they'll be in once they're delivered. Lisa at the flower department was so helpful and the flowers arrived quickly and were beautiful. Thank you.

Living over 40 minutes away, employees including the manager on sure were unwilling to do a quick stock check on an item. It’s sad because I worked retail and stock checks are the easiest part of the job especially if you go and look at the isle to see if something is there.

Loyal customer for 11 yrs. I purchase my grocery, gas, and household items here and spend over 1k a month. Went in to get a money order but service counter closed. Usually one of the associate working at self checkout would take 1 min to print me out one. I asked to call a manager to see if they could do it. I asked Wayne and he said he had no one to do it with a bad attitude. My 11 yr old even caught him rolling his eyes as he walked off. Went to Walmart in Bloomington. Went right in to get my money order and decided to do my shopping as well. They have everything Krogers have and more. If I have to drive there for a money order I might as well shop there too. And the store has even been remodeled and new carts. Customers business is not appreciated anymore. I'll be shopping with Walmart. Thanks Wayne!!

A grocery store. That's about it. Most things are kept in stock at all times. Prices are fair. The parking lot though is an absolute nightmare. It's always packed. They decided to put a Kroger gas station in the parking lot, taking up what I estimate was 20% of the original parking lot. Good luck not getting a door ding, accident, or cart bump into your car.

I needed a package of chicken but when I picked up the package, the liquid from the chicken got all over my hand. I tried to find one not leaking and they were all sitting in pools of liquid. Matt, one of the helpful butchers, was not there that day. I reported it to the man working in the meat department. His response was we get it in that way. I was so repulsed, I left the store and shopped elsewhere.

Went late at night. Only one cashier and o needed assistance at my self checkout but had to wait a long while but it is what it was. She was very nice.

Just upset with Kroger's formula policy.. my husband accidentally bought the wrong formula for nearly $90, 20 minutes later he went back to return it (unopened, with a receipt) but they couldn't take it.. said "it's just our policy, sorry nothing we can do"I understand it's our mistake, but if it's unopened I don't see an issue? So $90 spend on formula we can't use, now we just spent $180 on formula that will last us 2 weeks..

I've been coming to this kroger for a long time and I can definitely see a very steep decline in quality of customer service and overall care of the store. Most of the time it's absolutely filthy and the employees are extremely rude especially at the pharmacy and deli counter. I was just there yesterday and there were 4 employees standing behind the counter talking and standing around while there were multiple signs saying the deli counter was closed "due to being short staffed". Pretty bad when you get better customer service at Walmart.

Have not been to kroger for a few years because I have moved out of state. In town for family emergency. Went to kroger Wednesday at 11:45 am . There was no rotisserie chicken or any lunch buffet? Ask guy behind counter. He said that guy don't come in till noon!! Why bother having it at all!!! Or advertising!

Everyone was rude and little help at all. There was many things I couldn’t find. You couldn’t get around the aisles because they had random carts, ladders, and other random things I assume from stocking but they were just sitting there vacant and in the way. But what really did it for me was going up to the checkout with two kids and the cashier says barely a word, doesn’t bag, and keeps the belt on so my groceries are piling up, starting to fall off the edge, and instead of the bagger who was standing RIGHT NEXT to me talking to other employees, leaning over the edge just chatting, I bagged them all… while she kept putting the belt on even after I asked her to stop and everything piling up. Not once did anyone offer to help. The cashier bagged ONE bag. Very frustrating experience.

Been shopping here around 40 years, closing staff are extremely rude, and will be reluctantly switching to meijers and sam's. The produce quality has been declining over the years, and for some reason they enjoy wasting customers time by constantly rearranging item locations. Unless you like traveling the entire floor plan 3-4 times a visit hunting down items like it's a treasure hunt. Don't bother asking employees, I got " I have no idea, they keep rearranging things" from two the last visit. If an item is on clearance or discounted it's because it's got a day left before it's bad or in the case of meat it's flavor is off or extra tough. Which is unfortunate, the meat department are the most professional of all the staff.

Edit. Now they close the main entrance at 7. They dont realize theyre putting themselves out of business because they keep closing early. People just go to stores who stay open.My review of this store used to be 5 stars. They simply refuse to clean up their act relative to their deli. Mind you, I have spoken to their staff and management. So perhaps this will work. Every single grocery store that serves hot food has their act together better than these people repeatedly for over a year. Rude workers. Excuses. People refusing to do their assigned tasks because they dont feel like it. Chicken out on display they refuse to sell because apparently they leave it out all day. Give it another week and do this on Yelp!

Pretty good selection of products, and mostly competitive pricing. However, if you are COVID cautious like I am, you’ll want to either avoid this store entirely or shop first thing in the morning. This is a largely anti-mask store. Most employees are unmasked and do not distance themselves from you (despite some being obviously sick and coughing). And about 50% of customers don’t wear masks. They’re not just not wearing masks, but they’re typically of the ilk that is proud and puffed up that they aren’t complying, which is so obnoxious. Anywho, store itself isn’t bad but a lot of the people that frequent it will make a misanthrope out of you.

The woman who works in produce is horrific, extremely rude and enjoys being cynical to customers. It's even worse that the other employees hate her too, but management does nothing about it. If I could give 0 stars I would. The employees at this location are extremely rude and unprofessional. There is always an issue at this location. The other krogers in town are awesome and give you a great experience. Something is wrong with the kroger on college avenue, all the employees act like they hate their jobs and treat customers poorly. The product's at this location are poorly maintained as well. Rotten produce, meat that looks like it's been bad for some time. I definitely do not recommend this location.

Great store, clean and easy to navigate. Rebecca in the deli department is the bomb dot com. She helped me pick the right size slices for several meats and cheeses, and even let me try some! Hey customer service was second to none and she had a great smile!

Have shopped here for many years but lately noticing some decline. They re-did gift cards and there is never any chick fillet in stock - they use to have a lot more rows. Using the fuel rewards is one of the main benefits at this Kroger but recently they have gone to being the most expensive gas in town and the first to jump and not come down much. Literally 30 cents cheaper everywhere else the last time I filled up. Just gave up on using remaining points for month and filled up at another gas station (Meijer) where it was cheaper than my 30 cents off and Sam's is always the best price.

The staff is friendly and helpful, however, this store is way too small for the amount of customers they have. Same goes for the parking lot. I dread coming here because it seems to attract a lot of people with no manners who block the narrow aisles by just standing in the middle with their carts, or they barge past you without saying "excuse me" or "sorry", and cut in line for the self-checkouts because they don't know how to form a line. I had heard that at one time they were planning on building a new Kroger in Normal, but that the plans got cancelled. Big mistake. They should have never wasted money renovating this store and spent their money on building a larger store in a better location.

We were in the store at 10:30 pm on 4/19/2021. At 10:50 a woman got on the intercom and started to say the store closes in 10 minutes but instead said abruptly the store is closed which was 10 minutes early. She proceeded to come to the bread aisle and asked if we were done at 10:52 because the store was closed. We came to the front at 10:55 and I said the store closes at 11:00 she told us that she was trying to catch a bus. What really ticked us off was she just stood there and stared us down as we checked out. I’ve been going to Kroger for 36 years and I may stop shopping here. Unbelievable

Every single time I come to this store they've moved something unnecessarily for reasons no sane individual could comprehend. One day the condiment aisle is near the salad dressing. Next day the condiment aisle is over in the liquor department. 90% of the time you come to this store they have a decent majority of it blocked off and under construction. Came in today and half of the deli, the bread aisles, etc we're all blocked off by big walls and under some sort of construction that never improves the store. Yo top it off everything that I came for was sitting on the shelf 6 days expired. I will never be stepping foot in this store again. I'm just over it.

I’m just speaking as someone that worked here in Pharmacy. I definitely felt bad, racist, unwanted vibes. Little to no team work, no communication, bad training, and sneaky coworkers.

In general, I like Kroger but this 5 star review is because of the marked down produce section. I haven’t been to Kroger in a while but when I went tonight there was a ton of marked down imperfect produce for $0.99! There were limes, halo oranges, onion, apples, potatoes, bananas, all sorts of things! I wish they would donate it to food pantries but this is so helpful to make sure everyone can afford fresh produce and limit food waste. I hope more stores follow this soon.

Poorly managed. They close early all the time, so plenty of wasted trips. Even when they do close an hour early, they cant even stick to that, locking the doors 10 mins early. The deli section is screwed up. Never op. They cant keep staff.

Erica D in the bakery did an outstanding job with a birthday cake I ordered. She came in on her time to discuss order and listened to my request. She went above and beyond. Not only was the cake and cupcakes delicious but they were decorated beautifully..Highly Recommend GREAT JOB ERICA

I get off work to go pick up a few quick groceries and as soon as I walk inside the building I’m greeted rudely with, “just so you know the store closes in 10 minutes.” This location’s hours say this store closes at 11 and it was 10:30 when I walked in. I was glared at and pressured to check out the entire time I was inside. Very unprofessional. If hours change it should be marked for customers to see before coming in.
