My husband purchased my 39 year Anniversary flowers from the floral on Cottage. Unfortunately the roses after a few days were losing their petals which does happen. Sheryl took care of me and replaced my arrangement for me to enjoy. I was very impressed that she knew that was very important to me. Thank you so much for making my Anniversary special.

Fix your Apple Pay, don’t advertise that you accept it then tell people it’s down. Just horrible customer service. Every other grocery store doesn’t seem to have a problem but all of a sudden every jewel in town it doesn’t work.

I had a noon appointment for flu/Covid vaccinations. I got there at 11:55 and checked in, and they told me to have a seat, and they’d let me know when they were ready. At 12:30 with no interactions with any of the pharmacy staff, I left. What’s the point of making an appointment?

Horrible place to shop. Managers were yelling at the workers. Self checkout workers were talking to each other when I needed help. This store does not value customer service or their employees. I will spend my money elsewhere.

Front staff at self checkout doesn’t know how to speak to guests. Been here like 4 times and all 4 times staff has been rude if they have to be called over for any sort of help. But they only ever have 1 checkout lane open too so you have to use the self check. Won’t be visiting again I’d rather drive the 15 minutes up to Veterans and visit a store who properly trains their employees.

As close to small town grocery store as you can get !! I have shopped here for the past 20 years. The current store manager and all of her staff are great. I witnessed them going above and beyond helping a fallen shopper into a car. Everyone is helpful and friendly !!

I'm not sure what I did to deserve to get dirty looks from two different employees. The second one scuffed vocally as she passed me without words to the associate break room. As a black female, I felt discriminated against. It's sad because this town is known for abolitionists. I never thought I would feel unwelcome in a place that fought to end slavery. I will never stop through this town again. There are only books with white people on them in this store explaining Bloomington. History. Nothing about abolitionist though.

This is the second time within a month I've had an issue with the meat counter at Jewel (and the first time was at a different location). I was at the meat counter at this location at around 1:30pm today, and waited several minutes, and nobody ever showed up to help me. There was an employee nearby who I think was from the meat department (she was next to a cart of meat), but she never bothered to help because she was too busy talking to some guy about bread recipes. The two employees at the deli counter nearby saw me just standing there, but they didn't bother to get anyone to help me either. Finally, I just gave up waiting and left the store completely. I was planning on buying a lot of groceries after I got what I needed at the meat counter, but I took my business elsewhere since it seemed your store wasn't interested in selling items today. I used to love coming to Jewel, but customer service has gone downhill rapidly lately. Maybe I'll try again when you can figure out how to get employees that actually want to help (especially in your meat department).

A bit on the pricey side and the floors always seem to need cleaning. But they do have some good deals if you are a member. If your not a member then you should expect to pay an arm and a leg for everything.

I placed an order for my daughters birthday and when placing the order, I said I wanted Encanto characters on the cupcakes but also wanted happy birthdays included. So they suggested that I have it rotate the characters and have happy birthday rings in between and that was what was agreed upon. I said for the frosting, I wanted the frosting to rotate colors of pink, green, blue and just be colorful. This was all written down and I was also told “no problem we can have that done for you”. I pick up the cupcakes, and there is only one solid color for the toppings which is a blueish gray color and also no happy birthday rings rotated throughout like agreed upon either. The happy birthday on the border is bright light the colors I requested, but the colors on the cupcakes did not match because they were not there like I requested. I explained to my daughter what it was going to be so she was excited to go with me to pick up her cupcakes to only see that it wasn’t at all what I asked for!

Great place to shop. Great sales in their paper as well as in their digital app. You are not doing yourself justice if you don't have their app downloaded. Every new sale you can get free rewards and rock bottom deals. I also love how nice and neat the store always is. Their presentation is phenomenal. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and rack up on some great deals and even better customer service.

Awesome helpful staff very clean. Price is a bit high and I'm removing a star because they're produce really is often horrible. Well stocked fairly easy to find things. There's a butcher shop there is a deli, Bakery. They have LIVE cashiers which I appreciate. I will go here during holidays because they are union I believe and have better benefits than typical stores. al

I've always been serviced by polite, attentive people at the food bars. The fresh vegetables always look very kept up and pleaseing to the eye. The shelves are all pretty well stocked. I understand Kroger bought them out so we'll see where it goes from here!

The employees and look of the store is fine but the price hike they recently went through places them as one of the highest cost grocery stores despite offering the same stuff. Same loaf of bread not even on sale is a dollar cheaper at Walmart. Which also charges less for tomato sauce and many essential items. Jewel meat prices are absurd right now unless you see the buy one get one sales.

I drive past Wal mart to get here. The lines are never crazy, it has not be out of anything I've looked for. The place seems clean, bathrooms clean too. The deli has a good selection and the hot food / sides counter is awesome. A+ chicken

The floral department is second to none!! I have been getting fresh arrangements for my mother each Sunday for the last 10 weeks. Each one has lasted for a minimum of 10 days with most lasting 2 weeks. Keep up the great work!

I used to go to the Jewel on Oakland but this one is nextdoor now and let me just start out with: the employees of this store deserve a raise. Seriously, I didn’t expect that my trips to the grocery store would change other than location, but the extra kindness goes a long way.The only price difference I personally notice is in the meats department — I shop for my beef & chicken at Walmart but, “Great Value”, I don’t think Jewel’s brand has touched these items yet.The produce compared to Walmarts is immaculate since COVID took over, the store is clean & they’ve recently added self-checkout which has really sped things up around here!
