It's been a while since I've been to this location. Lots of upgrades they have made. My go-to is the Roni Zoni.I stopped in for lunch today. Food was hot & made to order. The lobby was clean and in order. The music had great song selections.I highly recommend it.

I love D.P.! I really appreciate the late night delivery. The online app is the best! I even get points after ordering which gets me free zones!! For someone who works late night I am thankful you guys stay open late. The staff there is super chill and alway help with recommendations. Sometimes I even ask what they order and the Calzone is always fire! My fave is the apple zone for a sweet treat 😋 also the cute delivery cars Thank you D.P.!!!

Each time I go to D.P. Dough I try a different calzone and each one has been absolutely delicious. This time around I got the Combo Italiano which has Italian Beef, sausage, mozzarella, gardeners, and a cup of aus jus.So darn tasty!

Ordered online through the app for pickup. Estimated pickup time was 20 minutes. Husband goes to pickup the order (2 zones) and the kid working mumbles something that sounded like I’ll call your name when the order’s ready. No problem, it’s a Saturday night. Come to find out after waiting 30 minutes that the order was ready and waiting the entire time. 1 of the zones was missing the side of nacho cheese that was added. Hard to say when/if we will go back. Sad since we’ve been eating here off and on for at least 10 years.

I was hung up on when I tried calling but the flavor of their vegan calzone made up for it. The man was patient as I asked him about their vegan fillings and I appreciated that. He was able to substitute items and I added a couple extras to my Impossiburg. Add in an order of tater tots and a side salad and I was full beyond measure! I enjoyed every bit of my dining experience. The flavors were spectacular! I haven’t had a decent calzone in years and this place happened to have two vegan zones to choose from. The price was great and definitely worth the journey to find this restaurant! (P.S. I went back during the evening to try the Buffer Zone and side salad. It was delicious and I enjoyed every bite! Although, I was not too impressed by the attitude of the young lady working nor was I pleased that their indoor seating was closed. The staff seems rushed most of the time. More than likely it’s due to the amount of orders they receive daily but that makes things a little less personable and welcoming to travelers. Lastly, parking spaces were obsolete during the evening and I parked behind the restaurant where one of their delivery drivers scolded me for using one of the empty spaces). The taco style was delicious too but I would have rather had chick’n in it instead.

Dp dough was delicious. Hard to find decent keto friendly food while on the road but this one hit the spot. Ron swan without the bread was way tastier than I was expecting. I'd get it again for sure. Prices are good too.Only a few indoor spots to sit. I imagine this is more of a walk up order and walk out place in the warmer months.

Love these calzones. Do not love the astronomical delivery fees. I'm not paying $18 for an $8 calzone. So, unfortunately, I rarely get to eat there. Used to order them all the time when I worked thirds since they deliver so late. Pick up is the best way to get them. Their dining room was closed forever, idk if it still is. It could be back open, but I haven't wanted to drive all the way over there to find out there's nowhere to sit to eat. A location off campus would be nice.Vegetarian options: Vegan options as well

Grabbed some late night snacks after the play. I'm not someone who loves calzones. But these ones are AMAZING. I also love their merch. 😂 The food pics don't do them justice but we were lucky to get pics before devouring this food.

I work third shift, DP Dough is open late. Seems like a natural pairing, right? Wrong. I (and my coworkers) have tried to order late multiple times and the website says they are closed when I try to order, yet I'm still within their operating hours. For instance, this most recent time I tried to order at 1:14 in the morning on Saturday, they're supposedly open till 2:00 or 3:00 (it's not clear Google says one thing, their site another). Their site, after completing my order and going to check out, says they are currently closed. Try to call them to make sure, it doesn't go to voicemail, which to me indicates they're still open, but I am left on the line for several minutes. I eventually hang up and stop trying. It's incredibly disappointing.Edit: They have since updated and overhauled their website. Much more user friendly and accurate. Rating updated accordingly.

Severely disappointedI've been wanting to try D.P. Dough for forever and was super excited to finally try it out today. I ordered online, setting it up as a future pick up to save on wait time since I had a movie to catch after. In the fifteen minutes before I arrived, the place filled up - I had a friend who got there at least 20mins before I did saw it happen. I wasn't worried and glad that I had ordered ahead. My online order was placed around 4:45pm, set for 6:15pm, and I got to the counter just past 6:20pm. I let the cashier (young women with neck tatts) know that I was here for pick up and gave her my name. She printed out a ticket, checked the keep-warm racks behind her, and when she found nothing she gave me the ticket and told me my number would be called. She was definitely in a mood, but I get it - being minimally staffed because it's a Wednesday evening and then getting slammed out of nowhere is stressful. I took a seat next to my friend - his order, which he placed around 6pm, was #63. Inoticed the server name that printed out was "Teach em a lesson". Wow. In all my industry years, I had never heard such a sinister username. We watched as the cashier juggled kitchen duties and front house needs. I felt for her, but honestly she really needed to stop treating us like the bad guys. Her attitude was apparent to everybody in the tiny restaurant. I even overheard a couple behind me give up and leave because when they tried checking on their order, the cashier told the woman she did not place her order 20 minutes ago (when she definitely had). If the cashier could've ordered some sort of apology, explanation, or constructive answer, I'm sure she would've stuck around. Hopefully that couple gets a refund.... Finally, food starts coming out. We watched the people that ordered right before my friend had get their food. (yea!) I think my friend got his capstone with tots about 6:30pm - both came out not even warm. I listened to the numbers count up, as I held my #36 online pre-order. People that ordered their food after my 6:20pm check-in received their order at 6:55. Mind you, not only was mine a pre-order, but I had a 7pm movie to catch down the street.... I watched as every single walk-in and online order got called, then finally came "order 36" - which she tossed into the counter and walked into the back without a look. I'm guessing her register name wasn't chosen lightly, nor is her attitude unusual for her. What I did to deserve this sad excuse of "service" however.... My food, while correct, was also not even warm. Honestly, I want to give their product another shot, but if I walk in and see her there, I'm just turning around. Absolutely horrendous.

This is a super cool place, very nice environment inside and super clean. I loved the music they played the entire time over there..They have a big list of calzones you could choose from, I got the BBQ chicken calzone and the Cheese stick with pesto on it..The calzone was amazing but I wish they didn't didn't out as much BBQ sauce in it.. it was very saucy, it was oozing out of the chicken and made the calzone super sweet by dominanting all the other tastes..And I don't think the cheese sticks was anything amazing, they are just basic ones, nothing great..I was just visiting this Normal, so can't ask for more.. but I do plan to go there again if visit again.

Awesome calzones! Update: The last couple times we've gone to DP Dough, it hasn't been a great experience. Today I waited over 20 min for a calzone when they told me it would be 10 min. I get it home and the jalapeños were missing from my calzone and the sauce included in the side was wrong. I really want this place to do well and be awesome. They are so uniquely Blo-No. But lately they've been slipping and it makes me sad.

Review Visit: November 10th, 2012The dough here is worth the dough.Back in the early days of traveling, DP Dough was recommended to my from one of my friends. Being an interesting sounding pizza place and my voracious love of pizza, it was an obvious choice to go ASAP. I grabbed my friend Matt and my girlfriend-at-the-time and headed towards Bloomington-Normal.We parked along the side of the street and wandered around until we found it. At this time, I was still new to traveling and not familiar with the layout of new towns. I have learned a lot since then. Upon walking in, I have to admit that I was not impressed. The place seemed a bit run down and was in the middle of a renovation or something. The 3 of us gave each other uneasy looks as we discussed if we wanted to try it out despite the restaurant having seen better days. Obviously we ended up sticking it out and trying the goods. We came here blind. We didn’t know the menu or what they offered. It seems that D.P. specializes in calzones. If you don’t know what that is, let me fill you in. It’s this taco shaped chunk of dough that is stuffed with pizza toppings and goodies. It’s baked like a pie and eaten however you desire. See the image below to get a good idea. I haven’t had many calzones in my life so this was not just a new place but also a new tasting experience as well. With our orders placed, we took a seat in the only area that wasn’t blocked off due to renovations. It was a small dining area behind the wall menu we are standing in front of in the top photo. I don’t remember what Matt or Erin ordered but I got something along the lines of a meat lovers or a pepperoni-loaded one. Looking at the menu, it was either the Italian Zone or the Roni Zoni as those two would’ve been my pick of choice. The food didn’t take long to cook as we had our food out within 10-15 minutes.Expectations were mixed as my friend Mark was adamant about his suggestion of this place. Not trying to judge the food by the look of the restaurant, I took that first hungry bite without a terrible amount of hesitation. Both Erin and Matt waited to see my reaction before digging in. That moment between the first bite and my taste buds talking to my brain left them hanging. Then a smile emerged on my face as I went in for more. They took that as a sign that the food was good to go.My gosh, was that calzone delicious. We savored every bite as the pizza taco pie was oozing in flavor and taste. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so uneasy about a place and then have it turn out to be killer good. Between Flingers and D.P. Dough, the twin cities might just be the place to go to get amazing pizza.

Just found my favorite Calzone spot! First time coming and it won't be our last. This place has so many Calzone recipes and if that doesn't sell you, you can still build your own. I personally had a Sausage/Pepperoni Calzone and it was amazing. The proportions were great, which I can appreciate. And the food tasted amazing. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town.

Went to DP Doughs on a Friday at seven, and a placed my order at 7:13 and did not receive it until 7:55. All I ordered was two calzones and some sticks. I am fine with waiting for meal, but when I got my food, it was cold. The staff seemed to be holding all the orders in the back until they had several tickets completed, and then announce them all at the same time. Disappointed with how that was handled.
