I LOVE THIS PLACE! From day one, I noticed how clean and happy all the habitats were. The fish were swimming in clean water, the hamsters bright eyed and bushy tailed, the birds excited to greet you... a just beautiful sight. All props goes out to their animal-loving crew (Bri, Gina, Amy, and everyone else... sorry for not catching all your names). Since I recently moved here, I was looking for my new "go to spot" and after visiting many many many stores, this location was a clear winner. You absolutely cannot go wrong here, they'll give you proper care information if you don't already have a set up and help in anyway they can. I love getting my animals and supplies here; but mostly, I love chatting with the employees. They care about YOU and all the PETS. I am not exaggerating, visit yourself and see how sweet everyone is! Corey was super helpful with our lizard needs. He was very patient with my son as he was doing his pet finding mission. He tolerated our many questions and was a wealth of knowledge on all the breeds he had on site. I would highly recommend this store and will be shopping there often for our future, very regular, needs for crickets

Check pictures!!! Dont buy fish here.. now i see why my fish i bought from them all died.... they dont clean their tanks and they dont take care of their fish theyre all sick!!! Look how many different fish are dead in this place. Poor fish...These people gave us wrong info about the heating system in our tank that we bought from them. That caused our 2 angel fish to die a week after purchase. And the other 7 different fish kept dying. Please hire a more professional people!!! This is sad!!!!!!!!The employees were giving wrong information about the heating system and the tank that we bought from them. Please go somewhere else. Even after we made everything work right they just kept dying the fish they have are all sick. So many dead fish in their aquariums sadly getting all the other fish infected

The grooming service is horrible. I booked an appointment two weeks before for grooming my cat. We looked forward to having a bath for my cat and drove 30 minutes to get there. But groomer Ashley… I don’t know what is she doing there if she can’t deal with the animals? She refused to bath my cat saying that my cat was aggressive and wasn’t coming out from her carrying bag. And she said that 3 minutes after I left my cat. She didn’t even try to take her out. My cat is the calmest cat ever. Of course she won’t come out herself to the stranger and won’t be sitting like nothing happened, but she won’t resist and won’t be aggressive. Of course any animal a lil scared at the beginning before that kind of procedures especially cats. But it’s her job to be able to deal with it and make the animal comfortable. I took my cat many times to vet and other groomers and never heard any complaints about her being aggressive. Ashley is not professional and doesn’t know how to do her job. She literally called my cat monster. If she is scared of cats why she even works there? 🤷🏻‍♀️ very bad grooming service 👎🏻 do not waste your time even for this place

Well stocked, friendly staff, and very clean. I like that they help get homeless kitties adopted. I also like that you can make a donation to their pet charity right at the register.

Incredibly disturbed and shocked with service provided by manager Cory. End result was my family and I were thrown out of the store. We were bullied by Cory and one of his store cronies joined in as well.From the moment we started conversation it was obvious of the bad attitude. His assumptions of what we were stating was incorrect and at that point I felt we didn’t have to explain ourselves. Cory kept cutting us off during our conversation and we couldn’t explain ourselves. But his reaction especially to my wife and children was inexcusable.The ability to commit and connect with a customer is the process of listening and understanding the customer at all cost. Being polite would help as well. I will never step foot in this establishment again!

People who work here have attitude problems. Its a basic simple fact. If u dont like working with people then dont work i know every1 has bad days n stuff but dont take it on the customers. Also their animals arent even properly taken care of . To the staff find different jobs if u dont care about the animals or the customers. :)

My cat had his second grooming appointment at PetSmart and this time with Julie. He is a long haired ragdoll and his winter undercoat was shedding all over the house. Julie gave him a bath, trimmed his hair, shaved on his belly, and did a lot of brushing. He is no longer shedding in the house! It especially looks good by his paws and sanitary. I'm happy with the work and he is much more comfortable and confident. I put a before and after below. After he is belly up on the pink and green blankets. My issue is that they only have appointments for cats on Mondays and Tuesdays. Every time I have taken him I needed to take work off because they need a 3-4 hour window. I have had to cancel appointments because I was not able to take work off. Then rescheduling a new appointment can take 3 weeks. It seems like there is demand for this service so hopefully someone is hired that can groom cats on the weekends. If the hours don't change I might need to find a new groomer.

Doors unlocked and other customers shopping but i was not welcomed to shop. Got atitudes by employees for walking into an unlocked open business. Why are your doors open if your asking only certain people to leave. Came back in 10 minutes later when they said they were open to dirty looks from that same worker. I left bought nothing. Way to alienate your customers. Guess ill shop elsewhere.

Awesome staff brought my cat to take pictures with Santa 🎅 and he did well. The women in the blue shirt was very kind and helpful with setting me up with my cat to get his pictures taken.

I want to personally THANK manager Cory and his team for the amazing disposition to help us celebrate one of our wish kids from Make-A-Wish Illinois. Last Friday l called last minute to advise the store we were coming over for a little shopping spree, as our wish child had wished for a puppy! He immediately said he will be expecting us and surprised our family with gift bags full of goodies ans treats and a personalized tour by one of his amazing team members. The family and us felt extremely supported on this experience and we couldn’t be more appreciative and grateful for all your help in celebrating our boy! 🙌🙌 Thank you Petsmart and your extraordinaire customer service!!~A caring heart makes the difference!

I had a grooming appointment today for my 14 year old Toy Poodle at 9am I received a call at 10:30 telling me to pick up my dog because he was getting to stressed out to continue the appointment. I understand that he is to old and much more fussy then he used to be.What I don’t understand is if he was not cooperating right away why continue and keep him for a hour and a half? They then gave him back looking like that with hair that was cut still all over him without him being cleaned off my car was cover with loose hair and I was charged 12.00 for a very incomplete job.I have been a dog owner for the past 20 years and never have i ever experienced this my poor dog was left distressed and looking a mess!I will never come back to petsmart for grooming and maybe find someone with more experience with senior dogs!You don’t start a grooming and stop halfway I’m sorry!

Michelle the dog groomer has talent in ways I can’t explain. My dog gets anxious and very mean during his grooms… he’s banned from 3 grooming salons! But Michelle changed our life. Every time she’s his groomer he behaves perfectly and lets her brush him down to the last hair. Great work and she’s very kind and friendly to my Cody and to us!

Took my dog there today just so we takehim home the whole ride back he isntopening his eyes! We take him to thehospital just to find out my dogs eyesurface was cut by the employee atPetsmart! This is unacceptable b/c of that employee my dog has to wear a CONE AND BE GIVEN EYEDROPS FOR TWO WEEKS!! We take our pets there bc we think they are safe just so they hurt him never in my life have i seen such horrible place! Last time we took him before this one they even forgot to put his coller on him and left it there and we had to go back and get it DONT TAKE YOUR PETS THERE !!

Good place to shop pet supplies.Good selection of pet supplies for dogs, cats, fish and reptiles. Friendly and knowlwgeable store staffs made my shopping experience more enjoyable. Surprisingly, price is fairly competitive to online retailers too.

Great experience! Was looking to upgrade my dog crate, corgi puppy was out growing his current one. Staff made recommendations to our needs, offered to load it onto the cart, and I was offered assistance to load it into my car at the register. Every staff member was friendly!

They are so friendly and accommodating. They give a nice cut, better than other places much more expensive. They are gentle and held our poodle as she is anxious. Express cuts are great so no kennel time. You can tell all the people are so caring and into their work!

Walked to the store at 8:30. Nobody was around to ask for help at about 8:45 they announced store would be closing I walked up to the front and asked for help, when the lady manager came up to me she said she announced closing time to buy fish is 8:45, so basically with zero customer inside she couldn’t actually do her job and sell me the fish. I work late hours and promised my kid some fish that day. Not sure if store closes at 9 they cannot accommodate customers needs. If only she was doing her job and came up to me earlier or anyone in that matter but no all they do is pretend to work with all the dead fish in the tank I assume nobody does any maintenance.
