Great roadside stop. Such a cool old building too! Reminds me of a 1960’s church. Service is always so happy & nice. This is a small town establishment so slow down a little if you’re in a rush. This won’t be the fastest meal, but it may be the most relaxing way to start your morning. Breakfast is pretty dang good. $8.50 for 2 eggs, toast, sausage, & hash browns. Skip the gravy. It’s not homemade. Make it $12 for country fried steak & eggs or strip steak & eggs. $13 for a ribeye. Coffee did the trick. Grab gas on the way out since it’s a filling station too. Two birds & all. Oh!! I almost forgot. Try a slice of PIE 🥧

Mix feelings.. Let's go with the good first. The waitress was a sweet girl that was very busy because she was by herself. The prices are a little high for what you get. Dinners only get one side for 12.00.I had the Deluxe Burger because I was very hungry. 8.50 and add 2.00 if you want fries. That's crazy because the burger was very small and there wasn't many fries.Next time I might just keep going up the road to another place.

The food is good and comes at a fair price. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a wide variety of breakfast from scrambled to sunny side up eggs and much more. Their burgers are AMAZING and will fill you up and the country fried steak is excellent. Just one of the excellent places here in Neoga.

Can't beat an excellent country fried steak with all the fixings for breakfast at under $10. Glad the place was open earlier than posted otherwise might have had to go sleeveless this morning.☕🐸 Packed truckstop parking lot for a good reason (found parking past 2200 so that's 👌)Never had good luck #highwaybassin in the pond tho.

Some of the friendliest people you find in the most beat up out of the way places... Works in progress and this poor place needs it. But gas was cheeper than other exits in the area. Breakfast was good, but hard to mess something like that up. Looks like a meeting place for all the local farmers. Will definitely stop in again next time I'm traveling thru to see how the remodeling is going or by then done.

Food was not too bad and staff was very friendly! Forgot to take pics but pancakes were delicious and not over done. Eggs cooked overeasy just right and sausage was juicy. Sat around a buch of locals just chatting in the background and sounds like mayor is here too! Interesting stories being told. Sounds like the mayor stays hard at work as well as the staff! Will be back.Parking: Tractor trailer parking.

You can tell this is a place for locals to gather, but you do not feel that way. We have never been there and everyone greeted us, service was fast and friendly, and the food was great at a great price. Places like this (the friendly and homey atmosphere with great prices) are a scarcity these days, and it's a shame. You guys keep doing what you are doing and never change. Not all change makes it greener on the other side.

My father and I while passing through from the Chicagoland area both got the western omelet. This was easily the best omelet I've had in a long time. Not too wet or dry, with crisp veggies that you could taste the freshness of. The young server was very polite and prompt without being overbearing. Excellent spot with a surprisingly wonderful experience. The interior is very cute and classic home-style design as well.

Came as a truck driver and the place was flawless clean, beautiful girl taking my restaurant order (super nice by the way), cool gentlemen over at fuel desk as well. The food was fresh and tasty. Prices were affordable for sure. Felt like being in a fancy (🙃) home run restaurant. Just awesome!!

Chicken tender were a bit small. Some of the popcorn chicken was hard. Fries were great. Loved the crushed ice. Husband asked for a tossed salad. A bowl came with shredded lettuce and cheese only. Lots of pies to choose from. It was cold in there we had to eat with jackets on. Bathrooms need to be seen by health dept.. garbage over flowing and shredded, 1 toilet plugged, the other was sitting on a raw wood and seat had urine and other stuff on it. I couldn't do it there!

The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! The workers were friendly and polite. The prices are fair and decent. It's a family atmosphere all around. Lots of choices to pick from the menu!! That's my new home for stopping by to eat and rest when I go by for work. It's time to take care of the Mom&Pops restaurants!!! Time to start to forget the big truckstop restaurants because they're not open or they're going to go to remodel and put in fast food joints!!

Car blew a tire on the interstate so made it down the ramp here. Sitting and waiting decided to eat. Catfish was really good but the peanut butter pie was awesome. Service was top notch.

We were traveling and had stopped to get gas. The Depot was across the street so we decided to stop.My husband got the Tennessee Bourbon burger and liked it very much. I got the daily special...sloppy joe, fries and mac & cheese. The sloppy joe was very good, the portion of fries was kind of small and I have had better Mac & cheese. The pecan pie was wonderful!Good service. We would go back here if ever in the area.

Used to love it here, I'm local and went quite frequently - but after what happened and what I was told by the waitress I won't be back unfortunately. Other members of family had already quit going and I kept going as I had not had the same experience - until now. Read on:I ordered Walleye dinner for $8.99 in the menu.I go to pay and the ticket said $9.99.I asked Lydia the waitress and she looks at menu hanging next to the register. It does indeed say $8.99.She tells me that she randomly throughout the day adds $$$ to people's orders because costs have gone up and they have not had time to update menus and it isn't right to short Dave the owner.I and the people I am also with tell her she can't do that just cause she wants too - if you want to change the menus without printing just get a marker and change them so people know.She laughed and told me thats just the way it was and that is the way she rings people up.I know the owner so I let her know I would be calling him.She basically laughed and told me go ahead and was laughing the whole time. I told her I hope the $1 deceipt was worth it - I won't be back. Heck - she could have just lied to me and told me something besided this reason...As I was leaving she was looking out the front window at me laughing and dialing her phone - Im sure she was calling Dave the owner.Food has always been good - I really liked eating there - but I am not getting taken from like this.They also have the ONLY subway around that I would eat at. Unfortunately I will not be going there any more either - Sorry Dave - I know you have a lot of regulars and will be fine and also the random people who stop in off the interstate. I just hope my review helps someone from getting taken from.When the dishonest waitress is gone and replaced I may go back - until then I won't be there ever again. I really don't believe the owner knows this is going on.
