It's a nice little lake. Good fishing or just taking the boat out and playing in the water. Also great place to do a little magnet fishing. Magnet fishing is a great way to get outdoors and it helps keep the waterways clean. You never know what you can find it's always an adventure check me out on YouTube and Instagram.

The only public boat ramp we've found for Lake Mattoon. The store has bait, snacks, and all the usual stuff. You can also get your watercraft permit there.
