Was just in the marketplace with my daughter and she saw a toy she liked so I told her we would get it and to take it to the check out well with her being only 2 years old she starts running up front to cash out and stopped midway and started to open the toy me being 7 months pregnant I was trying to get to her before she could but she is very fast and opened it before I got to her as I finally approached my daughter this very rude lady jumps out of her chair screaming no no and coming towards my daughter. She then sees me and goes on to say there is no playing in my store! I then tell her I know and pick up the toy. Moral of story lady was rude and I will not be returning to the store ever again!

We always make a point of stopping here whenever we're in town. There's such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The owners are very kind. It's fun to see the variety of items that all the different vendors have on display. I like the vintage toys, books, and handmade items best! I usually find a few must-have treasures. The prices are very reasonable--sometimes I think they should charge more, especially when it's a handmade item. Definitely worth a stop!

This is such a fun store. There are all sorts of interesting things to look at inside so something is sure to catch your eye. I love what the owner is doing here, letting local business owners and craftspeople have a spot to showcase their wares, hobbies, etc. Such a great idea! Btw, the owner is such a sweet lady who will happy stop to chat with you. We had a great time here!

What a fun store! While it's unfortunate that Nauvoo lost its grocery, residents have turned the building into an impressive gift shop or 5 and dime. It has a variety of merchandise! You are sure to find something of interest!

A lovely store with all kinds of cool knick knacks and antiques! I particularly love all the beautiful glassware I saw. Shopping here is a great way to support the Nauvoo community.

I was recently (end of May 2021) in Nauvoo for two nights at the Hotel Nauvoo and made 3 visits to Nauvoo Market Place. There is a comfy gathering spot with several chairs. Several residents came in while I was there and the conversations gave me the real flavor of this special little city. The store is a consignment shop with many vendors and frequently replaced merchandise. I bought art glass and ceramics and some wonderful books. Such a pleasure to visit with the proprietors! If you have time, ask them to share their love story. It will gladden your heart for sure. Deborah from PA

A great place to shop for Christmas and other gifts as they are the most unique and the craft items are well made. The store manager is helpful and friendly, you may end up just sitting as well as making your purchase.

We are so lucky to have such a great little store, it's so neat and clean. The meat department is wonderful and very accommodating. They have some really great sales, it's nice to not have to drive just to pick up the essentials

Sharon and Bruce Cohen rescued a sizeable (for Nauvoo) space where two grocery stores failed, to create a sizeable & very successful flea market. From authentic antiques to fine woodworking and prize-winning hand-made (and made-to-order) leather goods and jewelery, each of the many isles will tickel the fancy of most shoppers. Nearby are book stores, made from scratch fast food and custard/Belgium waffles, and historic sites, horse-drawn wagons, or trained Ox teams, the likes of Jonathan Browning's gun factory, other pioneer trades like a bakery and brick yard. There are children's games and demonstrations like rope making. It's been likened to a small Colonial Williamsburg at no charge. This unique place offers locals and visitors a welcome chance to mingle as friends and neighbors, well timed for the post-Covid reawakening.
