When I lived in Nauvoo, I was just barely too young to buy any of the wine products but the cheese and artisan foods were to die for. This place was one of the few things I enjoyed about Nauvoo.

Different wines than you can get elsewhere. The owner was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our visit and bought a couple of bottles of wine.

We came upon this place while we were waiting to use our reservation at the Hotel Nauvoo. When we got there, there was live music and the bartenders were so friendly. I liked that there was the option for a bar-type atmosphere as well as the winery atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

We stopped by the winery with a large group and had a blast! The owner was very helpful and we had a great time shopping the local products and seeing how the wine is made. A beautiful winery!

Wine was okay, the “kids” working could have been friendly and when I asked about the slushies they didn’t what they had or where the were. 3.5 ⭐️’s for wine, 1 ⭐️ for personality and atmosphere. 😏

The wine really wasn't our taste, place is cute, but small. It looks like it could be really great. There is a big kitchen where they could offer baking classes. There is a restaurant pub next door that is open until 9pm. We didn't try it.

We ordered 100# of grapes & went directly home to start steaming for jelly. They were either crushed or rotten. Very disappointed in them. Press House grapes last year were perfect. We spent 6 hours of driving to get them.

Where I go for Blue Cheese. The same brand (Prairie Farms) other places is never as good as it is here.(Often slightly sour tasting, especially the pre-packed crumbles) The wedges at Baxter's are always mild and creamy. Fresher? Stored better? Sealed better?. Whatever, keep it up, it works.

Nice place with some homemade jams and home canned products. Other items offered for sale. Now for the wines, not a big selection but what the did have was excellent 👌. I am already regretting not getting more( it was a 2 hour drive)

Nice little place. The oldest winery in Illinois, nice to see the old vineyards around the corner. Gift shop had a lot of items for the kitchen and a Dutch blue cheese similar to the one that used to be made in Nauvoo years ago.

Nothing but nice. My wife decided on the $6 try them all sampler and ended up buying 4 varieties from the 10 they offer. The lady that worked the counter was at times swamped by customers but she was very patient and answered everyone’s questions all while still serving wine samples and tending the register. There is a lot of history in Nauvoo. This place was the start of our learning experience

The Winery wasn't open, Google hours need to be updated. Checked out the Wine Barrel. Instantly were judged. The bartender was extremely rude to us as we were looking for the Baxter Wine to purchase a glass. Never been treated so poorly. Probably great spot for a local. Would not recommend this place to anyone traveling through.

Some of these wines are a real tradition. The Concord is a rare wine in any store so it's a treat to have a truly local wine (though I'm not from Nauvoo). But for overall taste... I'm not at all impressed. I make better wines with moregard at home. Theres a lack of dynamic flavor and character.

The cranberry wine is awesome!! Wish it was sold in north Ia! My sister sometimes brings up a bottle if it isn't sold out in stores.

Great atmosphere, laid back, easy going people, and all the samples you can handle!!! Have some bands on the weekend and a little bar for the evenings.
