I go to this store to pick up food for my cat. For the last few visits, I found the shelves did not have enough wet food for the brand (Purina Pro Plan) I usually get. At least, twice I was told that the can food was available but not stocked. Then this last time I saw the shelves were unusually empty. When asked the cashier, I was told that the store will be going through remodeling to make room for more stalls for dog grooming and will be this way until September. I am not going to visit this store for a while now. I also do not receive any instore credits even though I provide my phone number. No one told me to create an online account and link the phone number if that's true.

I have been going to this location for several months, and up until today, I really enjoyed my experience each time I went in. However, today, I am more than disappointed. I originally went to the store to purchase some Hill's dog food since the advertisement online said that if you purchase $50 or more, you receive 20% off. I also had a mail coupon that I wanted to redeem that had nothing to do with the Hill's purchase. When I got to the register, the cashier told me that she would not accept both the online sale and my coupon. Since I have always been able to get sale price while using a coupon, this was very upsetting. She then told me that I could use any reward points I had. When I agreed to use reward points, I then found out that I didn't have any because, not one employee in this store, had told me that I needed to link my in store account with an online account. I was under the assumption that by giving my email and phone number each time I visit, that I was earning points. So, now, I have lost several months of points on dog food, treats, and self-service washes. When I asked for help from the cashier, I was told she couldn't access any of my information from her end, and then I was sent on my way. I was given no resolution, I wasn't asked for prior receipts, asked if I wanted to speak with a manager, etc. I thought the customer service today was extremely poor, and I did not feel like a valued customer.Lastly, I would like to say some of the employees at this store are extremely kind at helpful. Today must have been the exception. Of the two girls working (I dealt with both), I really didn't appreciate the one girl's tone. The other girl was neither friendly or rude. She also told me information about their previous manager, which is unprofessional in my opinion.

To be very clear: the employees are GREAT here. I've been a return customer for almost 4 years. The prices and selection are okay. The animals sold always seem healthy.Recently the dog wash has been overhauled and is now terrible. The water pressure is exceptionally low, and the blower isn't much better.The wash is under powered to the point where it's not usable for my golden retriever. Hopefully the machines can improve, otherwise I'm looking forward to investing in a backyard dog wash setup at home.

I've come to this location to bathe my dog multiple times and have purchased the "bathe bundle" at least once. I have a VERY large dog, at least 135lbs, who has A LOT of thick hair, and the staff have always been understanding that it would take a decent amount of time to bathe my dog. However today left such a sour taste in my mouth that I will not be coming back. Was third in line to bathe my dog, so I was already waiting at least 30-40 minutes when I was told a 15 minute wait; which is not what I am upset about, I understand, sometimes people need time to wash and dry their dog, I would know. It got to my turn to wash my dog, I got 30 minutes in and probably had 20 minutes left. I don't know if it was a policy change or an angry suburban mom complained it's taking too long to bathe her doodle, but an employee came over and rudly told me it was a 20 minutes wash only. Now I'm not so self absorbed that the information upset me; however the tone that was used made me feel uncomfortable, flustered, and shamed that it was taking a little bit more time bathing my dog that takes 20 minutes to get wet. Like stated before, I have bathed my dog her multiple times, some even taking about an hour and a half, and have never had an issue. So, again, don't know if it was a policy change or no, but it certainly doesn't say anything about a time limit on their website. And in the case it was some angry customer complaining that they chose a busy weekend day to bathe their dog and unfortunately got stuck behind me, it is absolutely not fair, nor professional for a disgruntled employee to take their anger out on me. So if you have a big dog, I would recomend finding either a different location or an actual grooming salon before they too seem to discriminate against your dog.

Staff here is always so kind! The selection is huge considering the square footage and I've never left empty-handed. Plus, I've had better experiences with owners here handling their dogs better than say PetSmart

During a recent visit to the Pet Supplies Plus store in South Naperville, I was disappointed with the behavior of an employee when I inquired about using the self-service dog wash. Upon arrival at the store at around 2:00pm on Monday, 1/2/2023, I was informed by the employee at the counter that there was a 1.5 hour wait to use the dog wash. I offered to put my name down and return to the store at a later time, but the employee rudely stated that reservations were not allowed. When I asked if there was any way to use the dog wash without waiting in the store, the employee responded rudely again, stating that "we don't do that." It is unreasonable to expect dog owners to wait with their pets in the store for such a long time, especially high energy dogs like puppies. Furthermore, when my son suggested the possibility of implementing a reservation system, the employee yelled across the store at my son, stating "No, you can deal with the wait in the store or go somewhere else," causing a scene in front of other customers. I remained calm and respectful throughout the interaction, which was captured on the store's security cameras. Based on this experience, I cannot give a positive review of this store.

Amazingly pleasant and helpful staff. This store has the best customer service around. Always have what we need in stock for all of our pets. This is the place to go! They will even help you out to the car with your items if you need. They have a do it yourself dog wash here that's fun for kids.

We usually come to this location to wash our pup. We don't often see the same employees so one can assume that they don't stay for long. We bought fish for the first time but the young lady had no clue regarding fish. Our fish died when we got home no more than 45 minutes from leaving the store. The kids we disappointed.

We were regular customers of this store for years. When my dog's feet and belly get muddy from running at the dog park, I would stop here to hose her off in their self-wash before going home. A couple of years ago, I stopped in on a Sunday, to hose her off. They close at 6:00. I stepped to the counter, asked for a wash, and was brusquely told that the wash closes a half hour before closing. I pointed out that it was 5:23. I was brusquely told that the wash had already been cleaned. I said that I just had to hose off her feet. No. It was closed. So, I stopped going to this store for anything . . . until today.I was in a hurry. I walked in, asked for a wash, and was asked if I had, or wanted, one of their wash cards: 5 washes for $40. No, I don't come here frequently enough to justify it. Without the card, the wash was $14!!!! They used to be $10.Was asked how many towels. I asked for 1 because I only had to rinse her paws and belly. She gave me two, and good thing. They used to have towel-sized towels. These were the size of a hand towel.My dog stepped into the tub, I hooked her to thetether, and turned to get an apron. Neither one had a neck strap with both a male and female clasp. One strap was tied around the clasp of the other strap, leaving the neck hole too small to fit over my head. Untying it, I found it impossible to re-tie it around my neck because of the one clasp.So, I had to do without an apron. Fortunately, as it was not a complete wash, I managed.The spray nozzle is the twist kind. It turns on and changes from a jet to a mist as you twist it. A poor design for a dog wash.At $14, I will not be back.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They also greet your fur babies. The selection of products is large, well stocked and the prices are fair. The self serve dog wash makes washing big or little pets a breeze.

I called and asked for a certain pet food before I headed to the store. I then told one of the team members I would be there shortly to purchase the food. When I got to the store they had the food I called for already up at the counter ! It was that little thought that made me really happy ! It was great first experience and I will definitely be returning and making this store my regular!

I just left Pets Plus and will never go to any other store. One of the managers, Stephanie, was absolutely amazing! I had so many questions regarding my puppy. She spent so much time with me! She did not get impatient, she didn’t make me feel stupid, She gave me several different options and even took my budget into account. One of the items was a little bit more money then at another store and she informed me that they price matched! You could tell that Stephanie loved her job and she enjoys helping people. What a delight to go into a store and get educated , not feel like a burden and save money!

A long time favorite dog food store. Are usually spend about $160 in dog food. Are use the coupons from Jewel that are five dollars off $50. They have allowed me to use expired ones. I went yesterday I had about $160 with the food and the manager refused to take that five dollar coupon that was expired three months ago. Because they have let me use it before I asked if they would honor it. $5.00 off of $160. Manager said no. I’m very disappointed and yes it was $5.

I have been using the free delivery service offered by Pet Supplies Plus since March when Covid hit. I love being able to click and be done. The delivery always arrives on time. I had a problem with my last order when they brought the wrong dog food. Not only did they come back with the right dog food, they gave me 20% off for my trouble along with a gift of doggie wipes AND a $5 gift card. I am so impressed with the customer service at this store. I think they have a customer for life!

First time there. Clean and smells good. My only issue, I just popped in to pick up small bag of nutro for my cat. When I walked in and asked where it was located the store clerk indicated they no longer carried it. So I guess the moral of the story is call places first, instead of just popping in!

I'm forced to be generous giving them one star. I usually shop the Bolingbrook location, but I was in the area. I had to make a return and both the manager and associate acted like they were doing me a favor by accepting their faulty product back. I was told "I'll let you return it this time". As if I'll step foot in your store again. If you want kind and friendly service, do yourself a favor and shop the Bolingbrook location. They are very knowledgeable and don't harass you if their products fail in less than ten minutes.
