Imagine dropping your dog off at a professional placement and coming to pick him up only to find a case of negligence! I paid $335 to have his hair cut and found my dog completely bald. They committed negligence against my dog because a dog with a double coat can NEVER have its hair shaved. Now I don't know what will happen to my dog because that not only caused a physical change but could also cause skin problems. and his future fur. Nobody wanted to give me a solution so I will continue with the legal case.

Unfortunately, I had to euthanize my soul dog a couple days ago. In making the appointment, I was met with kind, patient voices. The receptionist was sure to make note of my requests for comfort so the whole team was aware the day of the procedure. They kindly accepted my odd requests. When the day finally came, everyone I met was compassionate and validating. Not once did I second guess the decision I struggled to make. They worked quickly and efficiently and followed my lead, checking in with me at each step, allowing me to make the call, and offering me all the time I needed.Jen, the vet tech, rightfully earned the title of employee of the month. I was relieved when she greeted us in the room after reading her name on the message board. She invited me to be as involved as much as I needed. It was abundantly clear how much she loves what she does and how much respect she shows to the animals and the owners. Once I had said my goodbyes, I called reception to ask for Jen to come back so I didn't have to feel as if I had abandoned my dog, even though it was only her earthly vessel. Jen came in and knelt down to gently pet and soothe my dog, assuring me thay she would take good care of her. She showed me the care she puts into her work and I was able to trust her.The girl that checked us in (I don't remember her name) expressed condolences and walked me through all the preparations. She answered all my questions and even went to double check to answer my more extravagant questions. I saw her again the next day when I went to pick up my keepsakes. She remembered me and reassured some more concerns. It was refreshing to see someone so authentically genuine to a stranger, and not just because it's her job. She showed how much she cares and appreciates everything she encounters on a daily basis. This staff is truly one of a kind. Not only was the customer service off the charts, I found this place through a friend reference and they were surprisingly affordable compared to surrounding facilities, even with the add on! I received twice as many services for half the price my regular vet was charging!Thank you all for what you do. I know it can't be easy on you either, but the impact you create on our lives is remarkable. I was granted more dignity than I was expecting and you've contributed to all the great memories I've made with Xena. Her and my family were all comforted greatly. We appreciate your hard work and warm hearts.

Have been going here for last 12 years since we got our companion PWD Oliver, have had great experience pertaining to Oliver’s care but my last visit was little out of our usual experience, was turned back one day because they were not expecting walk ins( while they always accepted walk ins earlier) looks like they are under staffed with less vets on the roster. I hope they sort it out. Dr.B was great!

As a pet owner new to the Naperville area, finding the right care for my basset hound was a top priority. I've been consistently impressed with Naperville Animal Hospital over the past year, and they've become an essential part of our life here. From routine health checks and booster shots to occasional boarding needs, their team has provided top-notch care every step of the way. The veterinary staff's expertise is evident, offering thorough examinations and clear, helpful advice on everything from diet to exercise. Their proactive approach to wellness and preventive care gives me peace of mind, knowing my dog is in capable hands. What truly sets Naperville Animal Hospital apart is their exceptional customer service. The front office staff is always delightful, greeting us with genuine enthusiasm and affection. They remember my dog by name, a small but meaningful detail that makes each visit feel personal and reassuring. The facility itself is clean, well-organized, and equipped with modern amenities. It's evident that they prioritize both the comfort of the pets and their owners. Scheduling appointments is a breeze, and they're accommodating to urgent needs – just be sure to call ahead for planning.Boarding my dog here when I'm out of town has been a seamless experience. I trust them completely, knowing he's well cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. In summary, Naperville Animal Hospital isn't just a clinic; it's a community cornerstone for pet care. Their dedication to animal wellness, coupled with superb customer service, makes them a standout choice for any pet parent in the area.

Have been bringing my dog here over a year. Really great staff. Never feel pushed into any choices or judged. Really professional and warm. Love that I don’t have to make an appointment to come!

I was very happy with their service from beginning to end, the girls at the front desk are friendly and helpful, the wellness check didn't feel rushed and all my questions and concerns were answered, my pup had a dental procedure and I appreciate the time the vet spent going over the procedures that were done on my pup and the aftercare after the procedures. Both vets were friendly and you can tell that they genuinely care and love what they do. This is were I'll be bringing my dogs in for their health care needs from now on.

I am very pleased with this animal hospital! I’ve been taking my dogs here for about 2-3 years & do not see myself going elsewhere. I have had bad experiences with other vets close to me. It is a 30-40 minute drive for me but it is highly worth coming here! Staff & doctors are very communicative & caring.

This is a truly wonderful animal hospital that deserves your business not only because they will take great care of your furry friend but because they do great things for the community by offering low cost care for shelter and rescue animals. We took in a sweet dog with bladder cancer through a local rescue and she received amazing care through this hospital over the last 14 months that we likely would not have been able to afford without their charity discounts. We were very touched by the care she (and we) received for her eventual euthanasia appointment. Every single staff member and Dr. Diaz were incredibly kind, patient and informative. I particularly appreciated that the medications were given on the floor with blankets rather than the cold metal table like other places do, so we could hold her as she passed.Thank you for all you do!

Took my cat here to be euthanized back in April of 2023. He got very sick suddenly and progressively got worse in a short amount of time. As my cat was laying on the table, the staff handed us the bill and told us we had to pay before they put my cat down. They could have waited until after- it was such an inappropriate time. Then, they “gave us time” to be with our cat before they put him down. But really it was them coming in every 5 minutes and asking us if we were ready. Lastly, they asked us if we wanted his paw prints- we never got them even after contacting this hospital about it. Horrible experience during a horrible time.

I was turned away at two different places because they didn't have staff! My dog had potentially ate dark chocolate and I wasn't sure how much and she's a small dog so of course this was an emergency. Naperville animal hospital was very easy to work with they were open on Saturday and they charged a reasonable price and my dog is totally fine! Thank you so much!

Top-Notch Care at Naperville Animal HospitalI recently visited Naperville Animal Hospital with my dog, Shady, and was highly impressed. Dr. Borcherding provided detailed, informative care, and the staff were exceptionally nice. The facility stood out for its cleanliness and sanitation. Highly recommend for pet owners seeking quality and compassionate care.

They did a nice job taking care of the dental needs of my new kitten. He is almost a year old and they cleaned his teeth for me. They were most quite as expensive as many other animal hospitals either - which was appreciated!

My dog loves coming here. They are friendly caring and give every animal the attention they need. I tell my friends all the time how wonderful they are here. We had to bring in a friends dog we were watching for the weekend, and they saw her without hesitation and treated her like she was a regular visitor. I LOVE THE PEOPLE HERE!

Our experience here has always been great, and it just got greater since they allow (but don't require) appointments. We always bring out cats in carriers and eliminating the hour(s)-long wait is less stressful no our babies. Thank you for doiing that! Nobad experiences here, always professional and kind to the pets.

We've been bringing our cats here for a few years, but due to their appointment system (or lack thereof) we are probably going to have to make a change. It isn't fair to my cat to have to wait for 2+ hours in her carrier in the lobby. I got up at 8am today and called the clinic to see what their wait times were, and it was already at 2.5 hours. I asked if I could get into the appointment queue now, and bring my cat in 2 hours, and they said no, that I would HAVE to show up in person, with my cat to see the vet.The alternative to a weekend visit is to take a day off of work to come in on a weekday morning. Still no guarantees on the wait time in the lobby, with a stressed out cat.It really discourages any vet visits except for a pressing medical issue. Why would a cat owner get a vaccine or booster or checkup when they have to traumatize their cat just for the CHANCE to see the doctor? If they get an appointment system that works, I would have no complaints. Doctors, great, staff, fine, building, fine. Walk-in only? Not going to work for me.

I brought my two-year-old cat here to the Naperville Animal Hospital because she was losing weight. I was syringe feeding her for at least 2 weeks. She only weighed 3 1/2 pounds. The previous vet I went to said when cats teeth go bad, it could be detrimental to a their health.I knew when she wasn’t gaining weight quickly enough, that something else had to be wrong besides her teeth. That’s what prompted the visit to Naperville animal Hospital. The rescue I rescued my cat from said she should have a feline leukemia virus test done. The vet walked in the room to see my cat and started giving me a bunch of different scenarios of what could possibly be wrong and he wanted to do an ultrasound that he wanted to do x-rays and he wanted to do a biopsy. He felt a lump. He did all this stuff. I was in shock I was standing there going “why what’s wrong with her” and I couldn’t think straight because she was so tiny and all the tests the vet did wore her out. She came back to me so depleted. He said the feline leukemia test and the other tests as well would not be back until tomorrow and sent me home, even though the rescue said they could do what was called a snap test which is instant and you get the results same day. He said he would wait for all the results and get back to me.Well, my cat was pretty much dead by the morning because all those tests on that little 3 1/2-pound cat, was too much for her?.I called them and they said well you could bring her back in. That’s all I wanted was the results and they were telling me I could bring the cat back in because they were busy. They couldn’t get me the results right now. I told them she was dying. She wasn’t gonna make it probably another hour. I lived at least 30-40 minutes from the vet. They would not give me my results, they would not help me. They told me I just needed to bring her back in.That was early in the morning. Needless to say, I did not get a call back from any vet with the results until somewhere around dinner time 4 or 5 o’clock I don’t remember exactly. By then, my cat had already died, and it wasn’t even 24 hours since they did all those tests on her. We didn’t even really get a chance to say goodbye. My granddaughter, who loved that cat, and lived with us, never had a chance to say goodbye. She was at school. They wore my baby girl out with all those tests. She couldn’t even live one more day after all the poking and biopsy and blood work and ultrasound. My granddaughter was hysterical when she came home from school, and the cat was already gone!!!!!We were robbed financially, physically, emotionally all because they couldn’t do a quick feline leukemia virus test first, so we could do process of elimination before you did all those tests on that 3 1/2 pound sweet baby girl!It ended up when they called me to tell me that she had feline leukemia virus, she was already dead! All that money, all that torture to that poor little cat. Plus the emotional and physical stress and heartache it caused my family to watch her die in less than 24 hours. When I brought her in, I was syringe feeding her for weeks. She was still able to love us and walk around and be part of our family until the Naperville Animal Hospital Vet got a hold of her and finished her off with all those tests! We were robbed of our chance to say goodbye.!!!! It was so brutal to watch her when we got home just quickly deteriorate right before our eyes. She couldn’t even pick her head up.I will never step foot in Naperville Animal Hospital ever again! Worst experience of my life!!!!

Went in today at 1:30 said that they closed at 4:00, but they stopped taking patients at 1:00. We've been coming here since my first cat was one she is now five and we've never had an issue with them before. One of my cats was pooping outside of his litter box and seem very stressed out lately so we were very scared. The vet receptionist looked as dead in the eye and said we can schedule an appointment for the middle of January. Guess they don't really love animals as much as we thought. It's clear that they only care about their paychecks and clocking out on time. If I could write zero Stars I would because I am extremely disappointed with these people. We will be transferring all of their records to another vet. Do not come here.

They are such thoughtful, kind people here! I was desperately looking for a vet to see my chickens, and they gave me 0 issues. It is reasonably priced and pretty much always available.

It's always a busy place. It's spacious, clean, and bright. I love the glass ceiling. Anyone can come in with no appointment needed. Staff are very friendly. Parking space is a bit limited, especially during the weekend. 4 star because it is a little more expensive compared to other vet clinics around the area.

If I could give zero stars I wouldWe came here with my dog who was having respiratory issues and felt as we were being pushed away. Was told to keep dog in car. Mind you I knew nothing of this outbreak and wish your staff would have not rushed us out the door with “unlabeled medication” and a fast talking red headed vet who didn’t even mention an outbreak to us as a matter of fact nobody told us. Fast forward 24 hours later after giving him a syringe full of medicine to help him eat he then passed 2 hours later. I am holding you and your staff accountable. I just want you to know how devastated and livid I am. I don’t want to hear sorry there is no excuse for lack of information and lack of knowledge

Had a surgery scheduled for my dog, they left her in a cage for 7hrs no food no water no bathroom break. Picked her up at 2:30 and she was a mess. The surgery was to be completed by early afternoon. DO NOT trust this place if you love your dog.

Scam artists! My dog is allergic to vaccines and cant take the rabies and bordatella at the same time. They are requiring a $250 exam visit per vaccine. They didnt tell me this and allowed me to put my non allergic dog on the same schedule. Absolute extortionists.

First time here, I'm torn over how many stars I should give.First off I chose this place because it had a separate entrance for cats, and we all know how noisy dogs can be. Anyway, when I got there, the cat entrance was closed and they were sending all animals through the main entrance. (So this is strike 1, no where on their website did I see a notification that the cat entrance was closed due to anything).Second, when I called on Monday to make an appointment, I was told they don't do appointments, hmmm, okay I can live with that, it's kind of like going to a human ER, first come first serve, but because I was new the person on the phone went ahead and set up a new patient file so when I showed up later in the week I would not have to do one and I'd be checked right in.....NO file could be found once I got here and I had to do it all over..... strike 2.Third, the main entrance is roomie, so you are not having to sit by anyone as long as they are not busy, but the ceilings are very high in this part of the building and the acoustics in this room is horrible for hearing anyone talk at the front desk, especially with barking and whining dogs. They really should invest in some ceiling sound dampening tiles or kites...... strike 2 1/2.The person who totally saved this business from getting only 3 stars was Dr. Nicole Fernous and her vet techs. From the moment my cat and I was taken back to the exam room, the staff was kind and helpful, and once the vet came in I felt totally at ease with her. We discussed what I felt needed to be done and not once did she make me feel I didn't know what I was talking about.I'm very picky about who sees my pets, and it's very important for me to feel comfortable with the vet who will be taking care of my animals.I highly recommend Dr. Fernous.

Came in at 8 am with my dog that is sick, they only have 1 doctor that is doing walk-ins all rest are appts only, its now 9:15 am and still behind 2 other people, (I was 4th in line when I came in). If your dog is sick my recommendation would be to go elsewhere.

I visited this veterinary clinic yesterday for my dog's cough that just appeared, and I was thoroughly disappointed with the veterinarian, Dr.B. He demonstrated a significant lack of communication skills. Throughout the consultation, explanations were either vague or completely absent, leaving me confused about my dog's condition and the proposed treatment options. While he did mention the possibility of an X-ray, he seemed unsure about its necessity given the only symptom being a cough. Despite this uncertainty, he insisted to proceed with the X-ray, neglecting to ever mention the cost. I was astounded to learn afterwards that it cost $267, which was significantly more expensive than the exam and cough medication combined. This lack of clarity and transparency in communication was not only unprofessional but also left me feeling blindsided by unexpected costs. We will not be returning.

Brought in a rescue dog for initial visit because the rescue place gave me a coupon for a free visit. It was not free!!!It was an ok facility, very impersonal, vet took very little time looking over the dog and to answer questions. She seemed preoccupied and was in and out in maybe 5 minutes. A lot of workers running around doing busy work, just seemed very cold and impersonal. I get it was a free visit, but just not a place I would go back too.

The main issue is that you have to physically sign in. They do not take appts. The wait is very long. You should be able to call ahead from your home, and they place you on their waiting list and tell you how long it will be, then bring your pet in at approximate time. Also, I suggested giving out numbers like in the grocery stores. Also, dont put the owner and pet in the rooms until the doctor is readyI honestly waited 40 min in a procedure room, and my fur baby was very anxiousIt's better to wait in the large waiting room.
