Some of the most friendly and knowledgeable people I’ve had the opportunity to meet in the hobby. They are always willing to share their knowledge and do what’s right for their livestock and customers. They don’t cut corners just to make a quick buck. Easily the best selection of Coral and Livestock. They actually care and want everyone to succeed in this hobby. Definitely the best store in the Chicagoland region.

Helped with getting me their RO water (measured TDS 8, very good!!) and it's at a good rate ($0.5 per gal) than other places. Amazing saltwater setups and livestock here but sadly I'm freshwater 😂 I love seeing the cool coral varieties, eel, shrimp, fish..everything looks healthy! I wish there was a freshwater store just as good as these guys!

The guys that run BLC are amazing. I've gotten a few auctions and some other corals/fish from them. They are very knowledgeable and are extremely helpful and nice. I had an issue with a purchase and they made it more than right, I can't say the bigger stores would have done the same. The service makes it worth shopping small for sure.

I don't usually do reviews but the Blue Line Coral deserves 5 stars. This was the fourth auction I was part of and enjoyed every minute. Dan was great to work with when the snowstorms delayed shipping. He stayed in touch and even let me add to the order without additional shipping cost. The coral is the best part. Every piece has arrived in great condition and no pests. I always dip my coral and we all know there are some strange hitchhikers out there but I have not had one from BLC.

I visited Blue Line for the first time yesterday. I was happy to see clean pest free tanks and great variety. Also when selecting livestock, the owner asked questions about my system and helped troubleshoot an issue I'm having. This shows he is mindful of proper husbandry and he cares more about the long term success of my tank, than making a quick sale.

I was excited to finally get to visit Blue Line Coral today after years of seeing them in the online world. Saltwater pickings in Chicago are slim to none, so I was excited to find something just outside my backyard in Naperville.I've been keeping saltwater FOWLR aquariums for 10 years now, but recently started dipping my toes into coral after finishing school and having a bit more income to play with. Staff was super helpful and not intimidating as I asked questions on care requirements and made my selections. Thanks for all the help, and I can't wait to visit again soon.

I had been out of the hobby for a while. Did online research and was going to buy online and set up myself.I went to blue line coral and ended up buying all of my dry goods and tank from there.They helped with planning and did the heavy lifting for the set up.I ended up with a better system, better set up and actually lower cost than if I had gone all online and done it myself.Honestly can’t say anything negative at all.If you’re thinking of going the online route, I would make your list and bring it there. I’m glad that’s what I did.

Guys here are great. Largest selection of coral in the area without the Chicago "prices". Great fish variety if you can get there soon enough cuz they keep running out faster then I can get there. Great people to work with if your just getting started on a salt tank.....tons of education to offer. I have personally had two separate midnight emergencies and they made every effort to assist me through it. These guys go out of their way for you.

I won some auctions. The SPS and LPS fared well, and acclimated to my tank. The two zoa orders did not.The owner of Blue Line reached out, and he showed genuine concern. Great place to get corals and fish. These guys take the time to talk to you and guide you if you need it. I make the trip from Northwest Indiana to visit these guys. They have a huge selection of corals and get what seems to be an weekly delivery of fish. Follow thier Facebook page and they post what fish they get when it comes in.

This plave has really good prices and have pretty much any fish you'd want and a few other cool frags or fish. Only reason for not giving five stars is the fact their hours are weird and it sometimes feels like they are closed more often then they are open. But otherwise the guy there is super knowledgeable.

Blue line Coral is a relatively new saltwater fish and coral supplier in Naperville Illinois. I popped in earlier this week just to check them out and was pleasantly surprised by their prices and they're friendly sales team. They were low on stock and said that it was because they just had a big Black Friday sale so that makes sense I hope to see good things from them because it's not too far from my house love.
