My local NE Naperville Amazon Fresh has become a local favorite of mine to pick up exceptional food items at a surprisingly refreshing price. You can purchase items similar to Whole Foods but with even greater savings. Noteworthy is the private Afresh label that makes exceptional well above average products. If you shop this Amazon Fresh say about 2 to 3 times each week, you can find a treasure of HABA and laundry products with stunning sale prices which make you save more than a Costco or Walmart!Don’t pass up their made to order fresh pizzas at a shockingly daily low price. Their sushi is actually very exceptional and offers far better prices than Whole Foods whose sushi prices have gone through the roof.Check out their liquor section where you can find daily wine deals and spurt based offerings at a shockingly exceptional price, for example, the cutwater lime margarita four pack of cans that is generally about 999 for a four pack. The same four pack at Jewel, Binnys, and anywhere else is at least two to three dollars more. [Latest visit update: the Cutwater Lime Margarita four pack went up to $12.99. I hope there is a reduction in price again soon].My couple critical feedback from the past was that they generally would only have one person on a register, and could use a consistent second. That has gotten better. Also, it always seems that the shelves at this store were somewhat understocked on a regular basis, but that has gotten slowly and incrementally better.Overall for what this local Amazon Fresh has to offer I give it a four out of five stars and I’m very appreciative. It’s in our community.

There are moments of sheer delight when stumbling upon noteworthy discounts, turning my in-store experience into a shopping adventure filled with potential savings.However, it's important to note that the sale prices on certain items can be a bit perplexing. Some products sport a sale tag that, upon closer examination, seems to offer minimal or no real discount compared to the regular price. This occasional pricing puzzle can make decision-making a bit more complex during the shopping trip.Nevertheless, the overall convenience and diverse product range offered by Amazon Fresh's physical store continue to draw me in. It's a brick-and-mortar space where the excitement of snagging a great deal is accompanied by the occasional challenge of deciphering sale prices. Navigating through the store's promotions feels like a real-world treasure hunt, and when you strike a true bargain, the satisfaction is truly rewarding.

It’s so annoying and I hate it. I only go to return stuff! No surprise the “just walk out” doesn’t work. At least they finally took down the annoying barriers at the front. That was a maze when I wanted to go in just to return stuff.Anyway, I got charged for a $8 cup of soup I didn’t buy. I went to get a refund but the power went out. Their cash register would not open without electricity. No keys! They said I could get it solved online, which was not true. Never saw my $8 again.Also their selection of stuff is very limited, and all the cameras are creepy. AND I’ve seen people try to use EBT (food stamps) there and Amazon makes it very difficult for them, unlike other stores.

Used to love coming here because of the simplicity of walking through the store, grabbing what I wanted and walking out. They recently re-did their store and completely ruined the simplicity of the "walk-out" process. Major steps backwards in their technology. Might as well go shop at jewel or target now and do the self checkout and can at least pay with Apple Pay. Disappointing.

I was curious to see what this place was all about. At first it’s unique and futuristic, but felt strange like I was being watched by all the cameras. It did not feel like a comfortable. I personally enjoy seeing staff and interacting with them and it was few and far here. I wanted to see the liquor section and they had to scan my license to enter, did not like that. I’m not sure if I would buy meat from the butcher counter as it was very sparse and not sure they move the meat enough to be fresh in my opinion. For me, I would not go back and I hope this is not the future of grocery stores.

One thing that impressed me the most was the freshness of the produce. The fruits and vegetables were of excellent quality, and it was evident that the store prioritized stocking fresh produce. I was delighted to find a wide variety of options.The staff at Amazon Fresh were friendly and helpful. They were readily available to assist with any questions or queries I had, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the checkout process was quick and efficient, ensuring a hassle-free visit.Overall, I highly recommend Amazon Fresh for its commitment to maintaining a clean and organized store. With their focus on providing fresh produce and excellent customer service, this supermarket is definitely worth a visit.

Totally fun place to shop if you're an Amazon Prime member. Just scan the Prime QR code as you enter and leave. In all honesty, it was my first shop there, and I didn't look in depth at every department of the store. Their strength is non-perishable items. Dairy had a poor selection in comparison to Whole Foods, for example. Overall though, kinda cool!

Why you should be shopping at Amazon Fresh. Let's talk ground beef! I'm hoping this is a continuing series showing why you should be doing your weekly grocery shopping at Fresh. A lot of everyday grocery items are cheaper at Fresh. Now back to the ground beef. 80/20 ground beef is $5.79 per pound at Fresh, $6.99 at Jewel. You're reading this and probably thinking it's $1.20 who cares - I get that. What you need to know is this 80/20 ground beef tastes better, the beef taste is more pronounced when you use it in a meal. I don't know for sure why, but Fresh's beef is vacuum sealed, I'm guessing that is why it tastes better. Now, isn't that $1.20 savings sounding better now. Also, I don't know if the sale is still on, but, Fresh was running a sale yesterday for 3 pounds of 80/20 ground beef for $10 - that's a great sale at Fresh. Go to Fresh, spend some time looking at prices on what you buy weekly and you'll be hooked.

I order from Amazon fresh weekly for delivery as I can’t go to the store myself. Almost every single time… I get some sort of rotten produce. I of course get my money back but this time it’s just way too much. These avocados are completely rotten and disgusting. Idk who is picking out food but maybe they should be taught that moldy avocados should never be given to customers.Anyway. 3 stars because the rest of the food is great and almost always in stock.

Nice, modern store. Sensors everywhere. Easy checkout, prices are a bit high. However, it does make sense as it has just gone in business. Some free samples were handed out, checkout is SO much easier.Enjoyed my time shopping here.

Receipt not provided, repeatedly overcharged, prices not good, produce is bad. Despite the hundreds of cameras I was improperly charged for 2 yogurts when I only put one in my basket. And this has happened once before with a different product. Without any immediate receipt provided, I couldn’t see or fix the problem real-time. One shouldn't have to shop with the specter of fear that you’re going to be charged for something not purchased. Having shopped there several times now, I have yet to find a ripe banana - either they are green or rotten. On a pricing front, I keep looking for the good deals but have been underwhelmed. Very few associates to be found - the ones that are there seem nice, so this is no comment on them. Narrow aisles, many items packed high and out of reach, lighting is stark - overall the environment and shopping experience is cold, clinical & frustrating. I’ll stick with the traditional grocers.

As much as I truly don't like Bezos, his company totally rocks.Prices on most items are very competitive. Their sales and discounts for shopping the store are pleasantly surprising!The people at this facility are the best in the business!The placement and grouping of items is a bit hectic, but it's now the only place I'll shop, even though I use Fresh Delivery most of the time.Word to the wise- for the most part, Happy Belly and "in house" brands are are well comparable to "label" brands

Clean and organized, crew is extinct except from the check out person. Probably my 3rd attempt at the salad bar and every time I go there, only to find empty trays or left overs. Again, no crew members available. If I got lucky to find someone and asked if they are refilling and what time do they start and end their buffet no one knows and give different answers. I’ve been there at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm nothing. I have noticed the crew members hurriedly filling boxes for themselves. They should either shut this section down or keep it well stocked and crewed. Manager is never available.

I love the ability to be able to scan a QR code when you enter and scan that QR code when you leave bypassing the registers. Also they have a good selection of produce at good prices. We also came at a good time because we found things that were marked down and priced at a great value. We shop around for the staples sometimes, whether it be Jewel or Aldi, but we found deals at this Amazon fresh so we'll be coming back more often.

This is by far the worst grocery store in the area. I have been in multiple times and each time their selection has been extremely limited due to a high percentage of out of stock items. Yesterday when I was there the produce looked old, and some of the meat looked spoiled. The only reason it gets 1 star is because I was able to return my Amazon orders.

Great store that has a lot of organic veggies & fruits which most jewels do not have. The wisconsin farm milk is great and pretty much the same price as the one you get in jewel (Sometime you get it cheaper too). Pretty much, you can complete your weekly shopping here itself and need not go to jewel. If you are a prime member, there are discounts in some items and a lot of times, you see a 10$ coupon if you spend 50 or more. Ofcourse, like other amazon fresh stores, alexa works great and you do not need to reach out to the store staff.

Checked out Amazon fresh today. It was the grand opening and the staff was extremely welcoming and thoughtful. They walked me through the technology behind Amazon fresh and I'm completely impressed. The store setup is tight, aisles are close together and shelves are high. The pricing is higher than other stores in the area but the technology makes up for it. The parking lot only allows you to head west on Odgen.

The store is really nice and neat. Super clean and organized, but the prices? this place is nowhere near a deal. I guess that would explain why there were only 3 people shopping in the store. A place where there are basically no employees where you do everything for yourself should have WAY better prices. This store is priced just like Whole Foods, so do not think you are going to get great prices. I think I would skip this place and use a Walmart or Costco over this place any day.

The store got opened in March 2022.It is situated in prime real estate in Naperville.Staffs are friendly and professional, but I am not a fan of these types of expensive shops that sell you the same product more expensive because they have a nicer decoration or app.AlLDI across the the street sells you almost the same products and less expensive.

A smaller grocery store (when compared to Jewel, Mariano's, Pete's). Clean & easy to navigate aisles. Shopping produce is a bit tricky since price is by the individual item rather than pound. Would be helpful if a scale was available. Prices are good if you have Amazon Prime, & particularly so when they offer additional, periodic discounts for Prime members. Downside I have found are the "best when used by" dates on products. Seems like inventory turnover is slow as I often find the dates are closer to what I'm comfortable with. For example, on a recent store visit, the best when used by date I could find for Kraft Miracle Whip, 30 oz, was best 8/21/23. This was to replace one I just finished that had a best by date of 9/11/23 purchased in March 2023. I understand that products are still "good" past their specified date, but the further out the date is the fresher it is.

Really underwhelming overall. Empty shelves and end caps and a disappointingly basic fresh selection. Seems more like a tech demo than an actual grocery store. Leave the grocery business to the professionals Amazon.

We were about to enter the liquor section when a gate keeper woman jumped from behind us with no greeting rudely proclaiming “ you can’t go in there , I need ID”.I think she has no customer service etiquette and probably has been a bully all her 50 or so years of her life.

I wanted so badly to love this store. I have been a very loyal Amazon customer for so many years. I have the Amazon credit card that was converted from an old bookstore credit card. The prices are high, even the sales prices. I like the low bread price. However, even though it's only two in the afternoon the bread on sale was already out. There was an odd smell coming from the deli which made me think of something either old or two ripe. The hot food at the deli seemed like it had been out for a while. I wanted to do a traditional checkout but there wasn't anyone at the register. As I was almost out the door there was a person who was willing to help me, but by that time I just wanted to leave. I don't like that I don't have a receipt and don't know what the charge will be to my card. At least with Walmart's scan you can pass your phone and get a receipt right away. It's very possible that if I had come in on a weekday early I might have had a better experience but I have to review based on today's experience.
