I've had a rough month with medical issues and needed a little help. The volunteers were lovely, and they got people through quickly. They helped people with mobility issues get their food to their cars.Unfortunately, which is usually the case, they were in short supply of shelf stable goods that someone with a gluten intolerance could eat. Obviously not anyone's fault, food restrictions aren't something people typically worry about when donating. They did load me up with lovely produce some of which we immediately made soup with.

Nicest people I've encountered in the food pantry and I always appreciated that you are a person that is in need I've been a costumer years ago but I have been to others when I moved and Jackson county knows how to help without you feeling bad because you are in need they deserve a plaque ❣️

This place was a godsend to me one month when i feel short on groceries. Blessed to be able to say there have been few times i have found myself truly worried about how i was going to get groceries. Every time i was embarrassed as i believe in taking care of yourself and ur own. Im glad that this place exists and im happier that they dont make anyone feel less than they should for participating. I have been 3 times now i think altogether in tbe past yr, it helps to know some people still care for others needs. Some of them care enough to volunteer there time to help, thats who we should thank so if u volunteer there, pat urself.om the back for me plz.

Great place if you need help with food for your family. Food Stamps (Link) is not always enough to feed your family. They provide you with a little extra food for your family and it's actual food that you have to cook and prepare. It's not your microwave quick fix food. It also helps to go on a Monday or Tuesday and sometimes Wednesday early (9am-10am) for better item's and more of a selection...

Thank you Murphysboro Food Pantry. I was there today, (a very busy morning for you all) but everyone was so patient. Among much more I received a whole chicken, cheesy potato casserole and green beans. I chose to make supper out of these ingredients and my family ate a very good hot meal. Easy set up relative short waits I average 25 minutes from walk in to leaving over the last 6 months.
