I have been taking my elderly dog to Dr. Barnes for over a year now. Her and her team are amazing at what they do and you can tell they care about each of their patients. Even though it is bit of a drive to have my dog seen by her, I trust them the most and will always bring my animals here.

Mid September 2022, my boyfriend and I discovered 2 abandoned kittens and Dr. Barnes saw us next day. They were so compassionate and helped us to transition them to their fur-ever home. They are gentle and kind and have incredible bedside manner with all their clients. I bring my dog here and she just loves miss Jenny and the treats she gets. I highly recommend this facility for you dogs/cats.

Dr. Barnes & her staff are great! They are very caring and thorough. I have a very anxious dog and they soothed her so well that she hardly noticed the shots. They were also really great with including my young daughter in the appointment for our dog. I drove in from My Zion and it was well worth the trip!

Called Barnes this pass Saturday, 7/9 we’re from out of town staying in Moweaqua. Our 13 year old sheltie was not acting normal. We contacted Barnes at 9am to see if we could get an appointment. They had a full schedule and a emergency the Veterinarian Dr Barnes was addressing. Dr. Barnes was able to see our sheltie at 10:30. Dr Barnes and her assistant Jenny took time to provide a full examination of our dog. Fortunately everything checked out fine. Excellent service and piece of mine for us!

I needed a place to take my 19 year old kitty to be put down. It was a Friday close to closing time and I was afraid if I waited until after the weekend, she would be in too much pain from not eating or drinking. The lady who greeted me at the door was very kind and understanding and after hearing me, Dr. Barnes told the woman to let me know that she could take her that day even though they would be closing shortly. I came home and gathered my kids and Gracie, my kitty, and we headed back. Dr. Barnes and her staff were very compassionate and made the experience as easy as they could knowing that this was a painful decision for me. I would recommend Barnes Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a caring, professional place to handle their pet’s needs.❤️

Dr Abby and her staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to provide care in a calm and unscary way. You can tell that everyone in the office are true animal lovers. Do you like notifications? Because they will send you several before your appointment. Who would think being reminded 3 times for something you scheduled a week ago was annoying? Dont complain about it either or you cant bring your dog back
