My car got impounded last night which my friend was driving and today I personally had to go get it out they were very nice and handle everything great. Price wasn't bad at all. Very friendly staff. The tow truck driver was very respectful and caring. Even though I was in a bad situation he made sure I got it safely to a hotel and took care of my vehicle. Josh from Briton’s Wrecker was terrific! He went way above and beyond what was expected. First he towed us 45 miles. He had to take our car to two different places to get the services we needed. It was evening and he didn’t leave us stranded at the first place that wasn’t willing to do the required work. He stayed with us until he was sure that the required work was done. Wonderful service with an emphasis on all around safety. I recently had a flat tire in a rental and was in a dangerous area (2way i57 construction) with extreme heat. I had my 2 small dogs with me and he made sure the car was loaded safe from traffic and made sure my pets were ok. He dropped me at a local hotel and assisted unloading my rental and ensured a replacement was available before leaving. Great experience after a bad day!Service: Car towing

Larry went ABOVE and beyond, along with the owner, to get us taking care of. They made some apparently potential nasty issues (with AAA) very transparent to us, as the consumer and gave us A+ treatment. We had a 187 mile tow and it couldn't have been more enjoyable!!! Headed home from picking up my daughter from daycare and must have ran over something because I got an alert that my tire pressure was at 2 on my front driver side tire! I coasted to Walmart but their auto department was closed. I called roadside assistance with Geico and they connected me with Larry from the Vienna yard at Britton’s roadside service. He was reassuring, got here timely, was super friendly and changed my tire in no time flat. Definitely recommend and am super satisfied!

Had a tire totally unrepaireable in Cairo, Illinois near 8pm on a Saturday. I was broke down on side of road. My insurance company told me Brittons would be arriving in 45 to 90 minutes. Less than 15 minutes later Josh the tow truck driver called and was there in like 2 minutes. He was very professional and towed my vehicle all the way to Marion,Illinois. He kept us in a good mood, had a great personality, knew exactly what he was doing and offered assistance for us to find a place with tires. I would highly recommend them and Josh to anyone. Thank you for coming to our rescue.

My boyfriend had an accident passing through this state… the truth is that we were left with a very bad impression. how bad attention of this place and rudeness. since we made several calls so that they did not move the car. Unfortunately this makes me not like this state.

A lot of tow companies are notorious for ripping you off when you're in a bind. It's kind of in their nature because a tow truck is typically one of those last resort type of things. Make sure you get a price up front, otherwise once they realize your situation, they will absolutely hammer you with the bill.I've dealt with many tow companies over the years, this is by far the worst when it comes to price gouging once they're done.To add insult to injury, the driver was an absolute jerk to our family. If you're charging 5 star prices, at least provide some damn service.

I was given a rate of $1050 to rework a load on our trailer prior to starting the work. This included 3 hours of a skid loader at $250/hr + $100/hr labor for 3 hours by Jim. I agreed to these rates. The job took 6 hours ($600), and used the loader for 4 hours ($1000). Charges SHOULD HAVE been $1600. The charges were $2800. We spoke with the owner who refused to honor the rate Jim told us, and said the charges will not be changed. They would not release our load until it was paid with a credit card. Threated to have our driver arrested for theft of services if he didn't drop the trailer and let them lock it up. Repeatedly hung up on us, became irate, and wouldn't answer our calls any longer.*Note: We were trying to pay them, at the agreed upon rate, and they were not honoring it* We decided to pay it and work out the billing later. Then we were told we could not pay with a credit card until morning. We have no other method of payment. My driver sat there all night. In the morning, I called to pay so my driver could leave. I was told the bill is $2900 plus a 5% credit card fee. We were never told of a credit card fee, and the extra $100 was explained as "additional labor to collect payment." Again we were not told about these. I tried reasoning with Bill (the owner's uncle), and I was yelled at, called names, and hung up on. He would not adjust the bill. $3045 total. The bill increased twice without our knowledge or consent. If the job was correctly quoted, we would have never agreed to the work as it would not have been cost effective. We would have driven the 4 hours ourselves and fixed the load. The owner said if Jim miscommunicated the rate, the is was just a miscommunication, and he still would not adjust it. This business was completely unprofessional and took things way too far. All we wanted to do was pay the rate we agreed to and get our driver back on the road.
