WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! Cashier rang up 1 of my items that rang up as only 1¢ and she told me that wasn't supposed to be on the shelf and she couldn't ring up the rest of my items because some of them "might" ring up a penny as well. The cashier literally wouldn't ring up anything else I had, and the assistant manager said they couldn't because of their new policy on items that ring up as a penny. They claimed they were only allowed to ring up 1 penny item and because I was unsure if anything else would be a penny they wouldn't scan anything because I was unable to get anything else at that price. So the assistant manager price checked all the items in my cart (all were "blue dot" items that had been on sale previously) and they were apparently all pennies so I was told that I couldn't purchase anything else from my cart. Out of everything I placed on the counter to purchase I was allowed 1 pack of socks!

Went there last night and paid for $230 in grocery’s and stuff for our brand new apartment and the staff there accused us of stealing everything we paid for on the self check out my husband put 2 $100 bills and 2 $20 bills in the machine and received change back but didn’t give us receipt cause it was out of printer paper a guy that’s was waiting to be checked out after the lady clearly saw him standing there and left he watched us pay for everything we had in our cart and they still tried to accuse us I highly recommend staying away from them there lucky I didn’t press harassment charges cause those ladies definitely shouldn’t be working there accusing people who actually pay for there stuff and work really hard for there money my husband is a contractor no reason to steal!!

The staff are super friendly and I can usually find what I need. I have two things I want to address. The first is that when they get a delivery the carts are placed all over the store in a line and you can't get to anything behind them as it's too heavy and there's not enough room to even move them. I know it's not really the stores or employees fault, but they need to have someone just for putting away what comes in on the deliveries. Second, I have a service dog. She's well trained and well behaved, she does her job well. This is the only place I have ever had an issue with bringing her in. They want paperwork for the dog. There is no paperwork, no special card- nothing is required by law as there is no registry that exists. All of the ones you see online mean nothing. I've tried to explain and show them the law, but they just say that's what the boss needs. I can go 5 miles to the other Dollar General and they don't even say a word about her. I want it to be fixed and the employees given a talk about service animals and the ADA what the law says.

Never had any problems at any other Dollar General location except this one. Consistently takes an extremely long time to check out. We actually had to walk out & drive to the one in Oregon just to buy only 3 things.

Service is bad. Store often opens later than the 8:00 a.m. time posted on the door. There is usually only one employee working and they are putting stock on the shelves. Consequently, when ready to leave, you need to hunt down someone to work the cash register. When the store is crowded, there are long waiting lines since there is only one cashier.

Good prices and value. It is a bit crowded in this store. They have clothes hanging in the walkway and Sometimes is a bit unkept. The employees are very customer-driven and they make your shopping fun!

I can always depend on Dollar General for my quick shopping needs at competitive prices with the bigger stores and not have to to drive far to the big city. It's conveniently located on the edge of my small rural town which saves important time and money of driving far- enables more important time withy loved ones. I'm always impressed with the merchandise Dollar General carries at excellent quality, style, trend and volume- whether it's food, hardware, household items, school supplies, cards, healthcare items, seasonal decor, and clothing- the baby clothes especially cute as can be! Your corporate headquarters is doing a great job job in it's marketing, buyers and logistics departments- just keep it up with consumer needs. Lastly the best part of my review is the staff- always friendly and very helpful no matter which store l shop at all over Illinois or other states l travel. CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS please know this: Dollar General employees work very hard mantaining high volume of merchandise and customer service they provide. Your workers are always curtious and helpful - no matter how long the customer waiting line is at the cash register during peak shopping times. I hope your management at Corporate give your store employees perks and bonuses as acknowledgement of their hard high quality work! Their upbeat attitudes keep your loyal customers coming back and not your nearby competitor. I am not an employee, just a customer who has observed retail stores for over a half a century.

Aisles always cluttered and hard to navigate. Have to wait for cashier to come to register. Staff does not greet or acknowledge customers. Too many staff and customers not wearing masks or social distancing.

Good for picking stuff up without having to drive out of town or having to pay the high prices at the only grocery store in town. But, some of their staff is rude and it's not always clean.

It's Dollar General, where you are sure to be dissapointed at the cluttered aisles and shelves barren of nutritionally good food. Don't bother looking for a fresh apple, but don't worry there are Hot Pockets to keep your sodium levels up.

Very convenient to get in .only problem is they always have big carts setting all over to out stuff on shelves. Should be done when store is closed.

On a Sunday afternoon there was hardly anyone there, the cashier was very helpful with everything I needed. For a quick stop and a few choices for almost anything I would recommend.
