I stopped in to get some suet for the bird feeders and ask two different people where to find the square ones that hang in the cages and both of them acted very dismissive and neither one seem to have an idea where they were. Finally found them on an end cap. Been in there about three times and each time I feel like the customer service is just not friendly.

Friday, 2:05 PM, July 7, 2023. I returned a $9 caulking gun with it's receipt. Why was I was required to show my driver's license? I should have kept the caulking gun and walked out. Only a receipt is required when I have returned items at Walmart or any other store. Where does my personal and private info go. Who sees it? Where is it stored and for how long?

So many things for home and farm. I can always find what I need here. It's my go to place for cooking, canning, yard and garden. If it is something unusual you need, Farm King will have it.

One of the most friendly and helpful staffs I have ever encountered at any Farm King ever. Pretty decent for being smaller store then Burlington, Galesburg, and Macomb. Then again it did seem alot easier finding everything I needed.

Bought a gallon of Valvoline Blue 15/40 oil then had to go back and get 2 more gallons. I finally noticed on the second trip that your posted price was $20.69 at the shelf but the check out price was $22.69. Is this not illegal?Very poor customer service at the checkout and the automotive dept. when I pointed this out. They could have cared less. Yet another reason why I usually shop at Huffmans here in Burlington.

Thoroughly appreciated our experience here at Farm King in Monmouth, IL. We’re traveling from Montana to North Carolina, hauling a horse, and had to make an emergency stop. They had what we needed on hand. The guys back in the shop were awesome! They helped us without complaint. If it hadn’t been for those guys, we’d be still be stuck in the parking lot at Farm King. Thanks again for all the help!

Good luck waiting on tire center. I had to sit for 20 minutes with no vehicles in line while they just chatted in the shop after the vehicle before me left after 30 minutes. And it was before lunch so I would understand if it was break time, but it wasnt. Possibly their way of making sure it was the last job before lunch. Either way I had to go into shop to get their attention and say hey I have stuff to do. That was a first here.

A gentleman that helped me find a 35$ bottle of goat dewormer was very nice. I asked him for a plastic syringe with no needle. ( like you get with children's meds at the pharmacy) He searched for a key for over 10 minutes. A little annoying but I had a little time. After I get these plastic syrings this employee continues to follow me. He is asking me to go straight to check out. I'm not finished shopping. He told me he was not allowed to let me walk around with the plastic $2.99 syringes.?? So let me get this right... I can carry around a 35$ bottle of goat dewormer but you make me feel like I'm going to steal your 2.99 plastic syringes. Nice way to make people feel welcome. WWont be back

This company is way worst then walmart in terms of customer service or any thing and the check out is 9 days older then dirt. The rudeness of both the cashier and the three assistant manager where just Embarrassing too anyone who is good at customer service. The cleanness of this store was trouble. There was trash on the floor. The restroom didnt look or smell clean at all.

I am not impressed with the customer service of this location!! I have been to the store in Galesburg many times and have been meet with very friendly staff…. Monmouth not so much!! It seems the staff at this location is unfriendly and unprofessional. It only takes a second to say thanks and good bye at the end of a call or to have a bit of a personality…. I will stick to the Galesburg store.

I've been shopping at Farm King for years and although i don't spend a lot of time there i usually find what i'm looking for when i do go. Tools and outdoor gear mostly, my wife looks at the cloths. I really can't imagine not having this place to shop for those specialty items. They seem to have a little bit of everything.

If you love buttery popcorn like me. Go to farm king and buy Jolly Time. Blast O Butter. Ultimate theater style butter. Its so awesome. It cost 15.00 but you get 30 bags. To me its worth the money

Really do not enjoy going to Farm King, any of them, because they are worse off than Walmart for customer service on the floor! I mean, when you find a store rep they are noticeably above par, but that's if you can find one with having to go back to the front of the store to ask for assistance. Today I went in and had to wait for someone to get to the cash register. The other day when I went into the checkout lane, behind an adorable old couple, the clerk glanced my way and vacated the check out lane! If that wasn't the rudest! But I walked over the next lane and made a comment as such and the clerk said her coworker may've been called to the back by her manager. Regardless, still rude.

Went to exchange a shirt that I only tried on. The employee started inhaling it, told me it smelled like smoke, & they wouldn't take it! I really felt like she was extremely rude. Won't go back there & dropped all the other things we were going to buy.

This place never changes except for the fact that I could not find a women's winter hat or gloves to match and I remember in the past they used to have a whole wall of women's gloves and hats. That was disappointing.

Good store for animal and pet supplies. There is also a nice selection of country home decor. Employees are friendly. They have an automotive department and a seasonal garden center.
