Staying at a hotel down the road I stopped in on a Saturday morning to get some work done. Excellent friendly service with a lot of seating options. I go with drip coffee so the $3.50 bottomless cup is a win. Great view of the river.I come to QCA often as a get away to focus on work or homework. I can see this being a regular stop.

I absolutely LOVE the Milltown Coffee near my home in Bettendorf. I've gone there multiple times, often in order to wait for my car to be worked on at Lund's. I've only been to this location once, however, specifically for live music. That was also several years ago, so after getting breakfast this morning I thought I'd revisit for a time to relax with a tea and a cookie.Holy cow, this place is a lot bigger than the Bettendorf location. Like three or four times larger. It's also a bit different in terms of furnishings and architectural features. Though there is a drop ceiling with recessed lights in some locations, this Milltown also has suspended light fixtures with yellow incandescent light hanging within (or at least lights designed to look incandescent. The walls are a mix of rough brick and mortar, light burgundy painted drywall, and wood paneling. There's a fireplace prominently situated at one end of the dining area and a stage situated opposite the space. Most strangely, though the drop ceiling is present throughout the space, the HVAC ductwork is still visible throughout most of the ceiling space. Even stranger is the presence of drop ceiling suspended under the ductwork and the higher drop ceiling, with diffuser vents connected to the ductwork on the lower drop ceiling portions. I don't entirely get it - perhaps it has something to do with sound dampening?Speaking of, I really liked the overall noise level of this space at the time I visited. Though there were multiple different groups of varying sizes across the dining area, between their conversation and the soft indie music the noise level remained fairly low. This was great for just relaxing with my book and chilling for a while.I got pretty much the same order I have at the Bettendorf Milltown location - a green tea and a gluten free cookie. I wasn't specifically getting the cookie because it was GF - I've had it a few times now and just really like it. This cookie was similarly fantastic, almost like a dense chocolate chip cookie cake! The tea was similarly excellent. Milltown serves Adagio Teas, my preferred tea that I order online regularly. The cherry green tea I got today was so good I had to get a second. I'm going to have to consider ordering some for myself at home - seriously, it's that good!I remember this place being a great space for live music the one other time I stopped in. I come back for music, but I'd just as soon as come back for the great tea and the comfy chairs and relaxation as well. Milltown is a great space in many regards, and I highly recommend you check it out for yourself.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options abound on the menu. From coffee or tea being technically vegetarian, to food choices ranging from simple oatmeal and fruit to veggie breakfast wraps and grilled cheese.Dietary restrictions: They have a very well advertised gluten free cookie. I don't follow this diet, but I can assure you the cookie is fantastic.Parking: There is ample parking in a lot immediately adjacent to Milltown Coffee.Kid-friendliness: There weren't any children present during my time here. If they can sit quietly in a non-caffeinated state, they'd probably be fine. Nobody here seemed anti-child.

I can't recommend the honey lavender latte enough. The breakfast bowl is a huge portion, I could have easily shared mine. My husband got coffee black and a breakfast sandwich. The espresso- delicious. And the view of course is beautiful

Great location. Good atmosphere in a surprisingly warm setting despite the concrete flooring and industrial decor. Free WiFi. cream cheese frosted cinnamon rolls. All drinks are well executed. On the pricier side overall, but not outrageous.

this coffee shop is definitely worth the trip from wherever you are to it. Yes, I know it's a few miles off of the East-West Interstate, but you won't be disappointed when you get here. The atmosphere is trendy and clean with high ceilings. The attention to detail when making the coffee is everything that you would expect and want from a proper coffee shop. There are plenty of seats, and great Windows overlooking the river.I would highly recommend this shop

Such a fun vibrant location for coffee right by the riverfront on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River. My sugar-free caramel latte was hot and tasty. Bummed I didn’t stop in here sooner during our weeklong stay at the Hyatt Place.

I believe Milltown Coffee is one of the best cafe in town because of two aspects. First, it's environmental aspiration of interior design and Mississippi river near by. Second, the quality of baristas and the taste of all beverages.

Just happened on the Milltown yesterday... Thought I found someplace new. Turns out they have been here for 3 years (Where gave I been?).Great atmosphere with views of the Mighty Mississippi. For such a large open space it felt surprisingly cozy and intimate... A little wood and brick goes a long way.Our latte and cappuccino were good...Will be coming back when we have a little more time...They have food! KACHING! =P

Best. Coffee. Ever.We visited Milltown Coffee while returning home for the holidays from Denver, and having their lattes in the morning became part of our routine. The Meil latte with oat milk is without a doubt one of the best lattes/coffees/drinks I’ve ever had. I also loved that they had breakfast later in the day and so many veggie options. I’m sad we will no longer be able to enjoy them back in Denver, but look forward to visiting Milltown the next time we come back to the QC. ❤️

Great vibe, right off the bike path. Amazing river view. Made to order menu. They serve real breakfast made from scratch. Largest coffee place in the region. Average speed free wifi and limited to dsl speed.

We are in town for a wedding and decided to visit a coffee shop in each of the Quad Cities! Milltown was our first stop and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the coffee and a breakfast bagel. Great atmosphere and friendly baristas. The view of the River was nice.

I accidentally ordered a late (I usually drink black coffee but sometimes still get “order panic” and because it I often end up trying something new!Excellent scones and a great atmosphere. As we’re leaving they were setting up for Vino Van Gough.Love the views of the river and comfortable seating. Also a big fan of the amount of room. The place was filled up but it didn’t feel like we were sitting right on top of one another.

One of the best sugar free vanilla lattes I've ever had. Their honey lavender latte is also phenomenal!

Best. Chai. Ever. I love Chai tea. I have it everywhere and this is by far the best I've had. Nothing I've had from here has been bad tho. The breakfast platters are amazing and big enough for two people to share. Its has a great view of the river and a great fireplace and sitting area inside.

Milltown is a beautiful place. The parking is ample, and the seating is comfortable. The Sunday I visited, I saw several families, students, and a few groups of friends enjoying drinks and treats. The coffee is excellent, and my friends said the pastries were yummy. One had a bowl of oatmeal with fruit, which I'm planning to try next time. Now that I know about Milltown, I'll be going there often!

I just moved here from Seattle, and I miss it so much. Milltown Coffee is the best coffee shop I’ve been to in the quad cities, and makes me feel like I’m back in Seattle. The Moline location has the most beautiful view, with a welcoming, chill atmosphere. I study here all the time, and all the staff are so freakin nice! The coffee is also amazing, it actually tastes like coffee (unlike most other coffee places here that tastes like straight sugar or week old drip coffee). They also definitely put effort into presentation, every latte is seriously a work of art. Love love love this place!!

Drinks are decent. The view is nice. Service is mediocre. It took them 25minutes to make an iced chai latte. another Gentlemen was there when we arrived and was still waiting AFTER we got our drink. Won't be coming here if I'm in a rush.

Went for the first time today. Great location - you can walk across the street to the bike path along the river. The indoor atmosphere is really nice. The music is not too loud. The drip coffee tasted a lot better than most drip coffee I've had and the breakfast bowl was delicious and filling.
