We love Menards. It's close to our house and the staff is very very knowledgeable and friendly. They seem to know where everything is and give really good advice. We really enjoy the food selections and always grab a snack when we are working on our home projects. We've bought everything from paint to nuts and bolts. And the kids always have to stop and see the seasonal Christmas and Halloween things.

Archer Moore and the home building team including delivery did an outstanding job on my deck purchase and delivery. The whole process was smooth and well coordinated. I will definitely do business with Menards again. Its a pleasure to work with a family -owned business. 👍

I tried to give zero stars but it wouldn't let me post it that way. One star is being nice...which the staff at this location are not! I asked a lady that was working if they had Chicago Bulls stuff since I saw Cubs, White Sox and every other Illinois team (and some Wisconsin teams) and she very rudely said "We have never carried any sports stuff in here". I directed her attention to the sports stuff I found and she said "well, other than that". Oh, and I was almost plowed into by 2 other employees without either one of them saying "excuse me" or "sorry".... don't worry, I said "excuse you" since they couldn't find words. I'll save big money at Menards because I won't be going back.

most wasteful hardware store you can shop at. they throw out customer returns especially of gas powered machinery instead of reselling at a discounted price.they crush thousands of dollars worth of equipment that could help somebody with the knowledge to repurpose it and keep it out of the landfill saving the environment.

100' of 6" drainage tube, quick in and out and the staff was very helpful. Nice young man asked if I needed help loading and I told him I preferred help with installation :) he finally laughed, everyone from the sales desk to the guard were very pleasant and helpful.

UPDATE: November 4th-Just got home from spending more of my money at Lowe's to see Menards has left me the same canned reply that they give every other negative review. I guess being falsely accused of shoplifting, and searched in front of other customers, is the same importance to Menards as people who complained about not being able to find an employee to help them find something. Since we all get the exact same reply.I have zero interest in "letting you know what you can do better". As I previously stated, I will never return to any Menards location. I will never be comfortable again in a Menards store. So you can run your business any way you wish.November 2nd, after making my purchase I was accused of shoplifting, and searched at the register in front of numerous other customers and employees. Totally embarrassing. I am a very active DIYer and have made thousands of dollars in purchases over the years. Will never return to this store, or any Menards location. Returned the items I paid for and purchased at Lowe's, who will exclusively have all of my future business.

Wr purchased several items from the Menards store in Moline IL, which totalled to $1229.06 but they did not have all of the items we needed in stock, they checked for us and found the rest of the items at a near by Menards in Davenport IA which totaled to $771.38. We spoke with the customer service department in the Moline Menards about getting the 48 month's same as cash. But we had to spent $1500.00 dollers to qualify for the 48 month same as cash, We asked the Customer service department if we would still qualify if we bought the items at different stores but on the same day.we were informed that it would not go on the card that way but we could call the credit card company to have the purchases merged into the 48 month promotion. When we got our credit card bill this was not true the credit card company would not merge the two into the 48 month promotion.We ended up having to take our purchases from both stores to the Moline store, have everything refunded and repurchace them to get everything on the 48 month promotion. This proved to be very inconvenient. We felt lied to by the customer service staff.

As always it was an excellent experience, was able to find exactly what I needed exactly where it always is. Had to ask a question, got the same treatment in this Menards as almost every other Menards I've ever been into, with respect and courteousness. I honestly couldn't ask for anything better as far as a place to go to get Building Supplies, Home Improvement, small tools pretty much anything. Thanks Menards

This place is an outhouse....out of this, out of that and not just during COVID-19. To extenuate it further it's on the far side of IL Quad Cities from Rock Island.Will be shopping at the Davenport Menards (which never seems to have this issue) and hoping that one day Rock Island will get a Home Depot, Lowe's, Thiesens, Blaine, Ace Hardware or ffs anyone that carries bandsaw blades, sanding belts, drill bits etc. (Stuff you should always have on hand instead of grocery items)

Stay away from self-checkouts. I'd rather have employees wait on me. It's a better experience than to have someone watching over me to see if I'm trying to shoplift.

Don’t expect to get any sort of help while shopping here. I came here to pick up over 60 boxes of flooring. I had a manager watch me struggling to move the cart in the flooring section and did not ask if I need help once. Then when I asked help for carry out/loading it up, I had to listen to the associate complain about how there were “too many carry outs today” and there needs to “stop being so many carry outs”. This stores associates have awful customer service skills.

There is certainly no friendly smile in any isle.Terrible service, besides needing a Tram to get to whereyou need to find things. You ask for help and get no response..I asked for help to locate an item. Thinking the location could be brought up on a computer, but that idea was false. I was sent fromdepartment to department No personalive seemed to know what department the item was in.After walking several miles, I finally gave up andwhen to Lowe's. I immediately asked for help and the man escorted meto where the item was. Now that was great service.

I was able to find the things I needed in a reasonable time. I hadn't been here in quite awhile since it is farther than I like to travel. I decided to go here because I haven't been here for a long time. They did have 1" foam paint brushes that I couldn't find in the other hardware stores. Also had a good price on contractor plastic bags.

Horrible customer service! The measly $25 carpet sample board they wouldn't let me return cost them thousands just tonight as I left there and went down the street to Lowe's to purchase my carpet and cabinets.Will never be back!

Not so good, plant I had picked out didnt ring up right price from the signs I saw on it, had to go thru several people to get them to honor the price since it was their error and when trying to find a part for my grill , the one associate, who I found out was a manager of that dept,seemed irritated and wasn't too friendly when I asked about ordering a part. That store definitely needs a course on customer service, especially some of the management.

Purchased 6 replacement board to fix privacy fence. Everything went well in the store. In the lumber yard was interesting. No was sure where they're located in the garden. Asked for help. This person wasn't sure, but he checked with another employee and located the items that I needed.

I can't believe the older gray haired woman worker didn't even know what a shower head filter was even I do & I'm close to her age geesh. Anyway guess they don't carry them anymore but they used to please train your older workers more they seem like they're just not on the ball.

I bought a washing machine and after it was installed that night it kept triggering the breaker in the house. I read what the problem was in the manual and then I called the store to tell them what was going on. They sent out another washer for us and installed it. It's not trigging the breaker any longer but I was impressed how speedy they were to fix the issue. Thank you menards for being so awesome!

Customer service SPOT ON! With having over 20 years of retail & sales, I know the employees on the floor, answered questions, took me to where product was & didn't just point. I was on a riding cart, the cashier took all of my merchandise out & put on checkout counter. She then called for a carry out & a young gentleman came & helped. He put my bags where I asked with a smile! Kudos to employees & management at the Moline Illinois store! Will definately be back. The store was stocked well & clean. The price tag on shelves were legible & lined up with product. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

It has everything I need. Never fails. Prices are good. Friendly people easy to get to. Lots of parking.wheel chair access. Everything from nails to noodles. Everything you could need for the yard or any construction project ,home project to painting. To patio furniture, burn pits. I love it.
