We took my seven month old puppy here for his first grooming appointment. I thought at first everyone there seemed friendly. The woman who groomed our dog was pretty abrasive. We came a little early to get him knowing his experience would be stressful just in nature of the situation. But I watched her tell him to continuously “stop” and she pulled at his paws and pushed his face away just enough for it to be uncomfortable. I’m really disappointed that more care wasn’t taken. They also didn’t listen. We wanted the top of his hair longer so we could pull it back into a ponytail. She cut it off and said she couldn’t get the comb through. That’s a lie- we’ve brushed his hair everyday and his head had zero mats or tangles. We will have to help our poor boy have a different experience so he doesn’t feel traumatized as grooming is going to be a part of his life.

People are very friendly. They groomed and bathed my dog very well. Only concern is the high prices. Never been any other place but $70 plus tip is a bit much in my opinion...

I have always had a great experience with the PetSmart grooming department. My dog always looks great after a bath or a brush. They have lots of availability and it helps when I'm in a pinch. Some smaller stores seem to be weeks out, so thanks PetSmart

If you love your pets do NOT come here for grooming services. Walked in today to pick my dog up after a grooming service and noticed an employee being unnecessarily rough with a dog. As soon as she saw I noticed she stopped. I picked my dog up and brought her to my car to then realize her paw was bleeding, a lot. Between that and what I just witnessed I went back inside to talk to a manager only to find out the woman being rough with the dog was the manager, Kate Davino. When I confronted her on how she was treating that dog she was beyond unprofessional and extremely hostile. Will never be back.

Great people who work here. Great atmosphere for the furbabies. Great adoptable pets. Well maintained. Smaller. Than most petsmarts which makes it for easier shopping. Being smaller realize furbabies may be closer together in aisles. Quick responses when in need of help. And very well organized .

Just can't figure out why certain dog foods are grain free when they are found to expand a dog's heart, while the grain dog food doesn't do this. There is a lot less grain dog food in the market. Saddens me.

I bought a male gerbil from here over the winter. Got him for $5 because they said he was aggressive and bit a lot, but he's the sweetest, clingiest thing ever. Appreciated that I had full disclosure on him and the staff was really friendly.

I’ve used this location for my pups grooming for over a year now. Every time has been top notch. The groomers are attentive and knowledgeable. They do a great job!

Terrible experience from a rude groomer. Whoever booked our appointment on the phone misbooked it as a bath without haircut, and we needed the haircut as our dog's coat was matted in spots. Instead of having an ounce of consideration, the groomer loudly spoke about how we had not been to this location for a particularly long time - implying that we haven't cared for his coat in that amount of time. He was rude, and I'm sure they were busy, but his attitude was very abrasive towards us directly, for no good reason. He offered to do a bath and brush for $104, which is beyond outrageous to me. Looks like we'll be making the drive to the Orland Park location from now on, as we were doing during the previous hiatus from this location.

11/10 grooming!I came here with my cat, Wattson, for a hygiene cut and wash. My cat has a nervous temperament, and normally my cat pee’s on himself due to his anxiety, but he didn’t smell like pee at all. I’ve never met anyone who didn’t stress out my baby, and Jesse succeeded!Wattson is a happy, clean kitty, thanks to Jesse. Thank you so much!

The staff is very nice and kind and helpful. We initially went there because our vet recommended Karol for puppy training classes which is something that is offered there. We did the puppy class now we're going into the next class all I can say is Karol is the bomb she is awesome you are not only bringing your fur baby there for classes but you are getting educated as well she has helped us with so much. We have a golden retriever that we would like to be able to go into hospitals, assisted facilities, autistic children schools and I have no doubt that the class she offers for the therapy dog will get us to the finish line for that. I can't emphasize enough if you are looking to put your dog in a class take the time and check out Karol at PetSmart in Mokena you won't be disappointed

Placed a order and the site showed in stock. 2 hours later got a email saying come get it, but they only have half the order and it also said it would refund that part of the sale. Got an email this morning saying I need to call the store for my refund. They can keep my money, they seem to need it worse than my family does, so they can stock their store. Went to the local grocery store and they were well stocked with the exact items we needed and cheaper. Should be pretty embarrassing for a store specifically for pets...

I adopted a cat from PetSmart! Most employees were super helpful and kind to my cat, but there was one employee that wasn't patient when it came to putting him in his carrier to come home with me which was upsetting. However, they have a lot of pet food options and toys! And a good selection of everything. However I would recommend for cat litter to go to Petco, because they have their own brand of cat litter and I love it. I probably will go to a pet smart in the future for food and accessories, but just be careful of what employees are handling your animals. Like I said, during the adoption process everyone was amazing except for one employee. So just be mindful!

I went here to potentially adopt a crested gecko. I looked in the enclosure & saw one chilling on a leaf so I asked to hold him. She tells me “there are no geckos in the tank thats why theres a 0 written on the tank” & I show her that theres one in there. She said “I’ll check” & found 2 baby crested geckos in the enclosure. Why was there a 0 on the tank? Were these babies not being taken care of because they believed there were none in there? Im disappointed & also curious to how often this happens.

I've been bringing my German Shepherd here since she was a puppy and I have nothing but good things to say about the employees in the grooming salon. Today Ryan did my dogs grooming and she looks great. He's super professional, honest, and caring. I've also used Katrina many times and she's amazing as well. I highly recommend either employee.

Was told I could pick up both my dogs when they were ready in 30 minutes. Received a call 15 min later from the salon leader telling me one dog was ready and should have already been picked up. When I arrived at the salon to pick up both dogs I was informed that I may no longer be able to bring my dog to the salon because I was negligent in picking her up. My dogs were at the salon for a total of 90 minutes. I will not go back after being a client there since they opened. I’ll give my business to a local dog groomer.

Very quiet and easy to complete shopping tasks during the week right after they open for the day. Didn't have a problem purchasing the items needed because they were in stock and not on Back Order like some retailers continue to experience during these current times.

PetSmart has a lot of what you need for your pets. The store is arranged well and the aisles are neat and clean. I live it that people are allowed to take their pets into the store. (I wouldn't do it though because I have neurotic cats, but I love petting other peoples' pets!) The prices are a little higher than what you'll find at discount stores, but in some cases if you order online for in-store pickup, you might find that the online price is a little lower than the shelf price. We've found some great products at really good prices by ordering online and picking up at the store.

Oh my goodness, where to start! I have been coming to this location since they opened. All of the staff here is AMAZING. From the cashiers, to the managers, to the groomers, to the dog trainer! They are all amazing. I have three yellow lab puppies and everyone here is always so quick to assist me in picking treats/leashes/harnesses/etc. One cashier looked on her personal phone for a price match on an expensive harness. Multiple sales people even helped me tackle my puppy to the ground to fit him in a harness without even having to ask. They just saw me struggling lol. Karol, the dog trainer, is PHENOMENAL. My fiance and I truly love her. She is so flexible and understands that everyone has busy schedules. She is THE dog whisperer, trust me. Love everything about this store. Come here, you won't be disappointed.
