I’ve been a Jewel customer for decades, even an employee in my teens, this location is by far my favorite! Deli chicken, sushi, bakery and meat market are better than any other locations in the area. They’re never crowded and parking is easy.

I come here fairly often to purchase groceries in the mornings, and occasionally I need help finding things in aisles due to my limited vision. I'll ask around and most of the young kids don't know anything.. I'm always left aimlessly wandering. Well, I just wanted to make this review to give a great shout out to Lindsey from drive & go. It's so nice to see a fresh and friendly face that looks genuinely excited to be at work. She guided me to the exact aisle I needed to go to, AND helped me to download the Jewel app! I no longer need to find things mostly on my own. The app will now make it so helpful to see things up close, which is something I never even thought of. Thank you! 👍🏽

Please train your deli ppl about how much a 1/3 a lb is and what thin slice is. Ask for a 1/3..get a half, with out even asking if I'm ok with that much. Ask for thin, get shown a thin piece, but somehow the rest is thicker that I said ok too. Cheese just clumped together, no separating paper or layers so now my cheese is just a clump ill have to hope to get a slice from. The whole poi t of the deli counter is so we can have better and slices how we want..not so your staff can turn up the thickness and do less work. Do better

Ordered chicken from deli. It was deivered and it was dried out hard. We could not eat. Called store talked to customer service they said they would tell the deli. So I’m out and she never apologized or said we’ll replace it. We are both home bound seniors and can’t get out so we order 2 or 3 times a week. Not very happy at all. April 19

Fairly good jewel. Produce has difficulty keeping stock but that is normal I guess when it's a good sale. I like how this jewel carries Italian green beans even if it's canned when other locations don't. I miss the frozen Italian vegetables bag they use to make it was great for pasta salads. For mother's day they had beautiful bouquet arrangements of purple and pink flowers that I loved

Just moved to the area from plainfield and there's no crazy difference between this jewel and many others in the area. I agree with some posters regarding staff being less than welcoming or friendly when compared to other jewel-osco spots, but no major issues. Feels smaller than the rt 59 location, about similar to shorewood one. Went before and after the major holidays and was as expected regarding stock of items and pricing. Clean store, nice Starbucks, overall small town feel to the atmosphere.

Expired formula!!Stopped in to grab my son some formula as I was an hour from home visiting a friend and realized I forgot his donor breast milk at home in the diaper bag. Bought some ready to use formula in a six pack and a bottle so I could feed him. Didn’t think to check the expiration date as I was in a hurry. the formula was over a month expired at the time I bought it and gave it to him!!!! Only reason i noticed it was expired weeks after I bought it was because i was about to post it on the free page to a mom in need. As my son is sticky on donor milk and I only needed some formula to feed him as I did a mom fail and forgot it. From working in retail I know baby formula is supposed to be checked monthly and pulled from the shelf 90 days prior to it being expired.

Prices are going up everywhere. However, this store really does have higher prices than average. I compared sales paper. One of the managers there though, is absolutely incredible. He's genuine, treats his guests right, and actually acts like a manager. The selection here isn't always the best, but I'm grateful to have a grocery store with how crazy the world is so I'm not gonna complain too much. The Starbucks here is great. The baristas are very kind and take care of my mama. Much respect. I have to get the managers name and update this review because he is phenomenal.

Is great that you do the online orders however it's b.s .that we have to deal with the workers that are filing orders. They ignorantly block the isles. I have noticed and now my husband just shared his experience from today. I'm second guessing my go to store as this has happened several times in the last few weeks!

My husband took me grocery shopping here to stock up before getting back in the truck, i will never shop here again. The prices are outrageous; i have shopped in Walmarts that had a lot better prices than here.

First time to this particular Jewel. It was clean and well stocked. I was there on a Tuesday afternoon after 2. The store was fairly busy but check out was quick with enough checkouts open. Using the sale My Jewel items saved over $55.

Store is always clean and organized. Farmstand is well stocked, shelves and bins are clean, and produce is healthy looking and not damaged. Love shopping at this location even though it's a bit further of a drive than my closest store!

How in the world can Jewel charge 9.99 /lb for pork ribs and advertise a buy one get one sale. That is ridiculous where is the savings? You can go to any butcher and pay less than 5.00/ lb when their not on sale. Give me a break, what a rip off.

The staff here really need to work on customer service. I have been in this store several times and associates always fail to 'Greet', say 'Thank you for shopping...' nor, 'Have a nice day'. Also in the aisles, I have walked right past management and not received a greeting or an offer to help locate a product. Many of the younger staff are observed congregating with each other and laughing about this and that amongst themselves while ignoring customers at large. This store is a poor representation of the Jewel-Oscon brand and from management down the line, many coaching sessions need to be had on how to treat customers with courtesy and respect. This is NOT the only grocery store in the area. Less customers mean, less hours and possible store closure or an overhaul of staff employed. Key words here, "Staff" and "Employed." This is your WORK, not your social gathering that you get paid for and whom you pick and choose who you do your WORK towards. Definitely unimpressed with this stores STAFF.

Pricing is way out of line. Ever since the Covid stuff started week by week the prices go up. I only run up there if I need one or two items. BTW Angelo Caputo is cheaper on a lot of items and they have great produce. A little drive up Rt59 but so worth it!!

I was there in a Thursday late morning and that must be restock time as most aisles were hard to navigate due boxes being unpacked. Most everything I needed I found. A few of the employee shoppers were fulfilling orders and they looked rushed and unapproachable, maybe even annoyed that customers were also shopping and occasionally in their way. I managed to save quite a bit with sales and their online coupons, however many items are cheaper elsewhere

The only grocery store in Channahon/Minooka area. The prices are high, the fruit normally goes bad the day after you buy it. Often I have gone and seen moldy fruit on display in the store. Really the only place to buy groceries so you have to pay the higher prices if you want to stay local.

Rude staff. Called manager regarding rude staff at pharmacy and was told I’d get a call back. Never happened. That was a couple of months ago. Today went to get groceries and there was a huge sale on some beef patties. Huge sign posted by them. We even scanned them on self scanner. It gave us the sale price. Went to check out and rang up full price. How is that even possible? Feels intentional. Told the cashier and she promptly rolled her eyes at us and called for help. She clearly didn’t think they would be on sale that cheap. Someone then come over and said the sale was expired… Ummmm wrong! It is good til 9/20. We finally got the right price after being treated like thieves. The lady who came over to help was apologetic and nice but we still felt like this was embarrassing and the cashier was so rude. This place needs management.

Place seems to have about everything you'd want in a grocery store. Prices are high, employees seem to have none to little knowledge of where products are located. Lines are always packed. If you're not local I'd recommend finding another store.

I live close to this location and shop there a few times a week . The staff & managers have always been very helpful during my 10 years of shopping at this location & have always go above and beyond to assist. The staff they have are very respectful and genuine when they answer you or even as they walk by they say hello . Jewel either has an excellent training program or they got really lucky with the type of employees that they hire .that says a lot for the way people are nowadays with the newer generation.

Went to pick up my prescription at 5pm, and the pharmacy was closed. All their signs said it would be open until 6pm. The customer service staff said they all just left at 4pm. No explanation. No signs posted anywhere. I really needed that prescription and the pharmacy was going to be closed the following day. I'd give negative stars if I could.

Employees are always friendly and willing to help when needed. This location has the THE best manager that stays connected with be communities he serves and keeps us up-to-date on any delivery delays. It really helps when you are planning grocery trips when weather is bad or you are down from a surgery or injury!

Stopped in here for a quick 20 minute grocery trip. Within that 20 minutes, came out to find my car keyed. I don't even live in the area, so whoever did it wouldn't know me from a can of paint. Anywho, spoke with the manager of the store, filed a police report, watched the cameras & we saw who did it, just didn't know exactly who he was or what his license plate # was. I wanted the footage & hoped there were closer angles but the manager of the store said usually they don't even let customers view the cameras. Also said that since they are private property, they are not responsible for property damage to customers cars.I had really hoped management could have done more about this situation considering that they had the guy on camera doing property damage. Whenever someone is suspected for theft, these stores have NO PROBLEM uploading close up camera footage of the suspect to social media in hopes of getting help identifying the individual. But forget it if an individual caused over 1000$ worth of property damage to the CUSTOMERS PROPERTY !
