We just moved here in the beginning of June. We have been to Dollar General several time. More times than not when we have been in there (some) employees are complaining about who does more and just are not nice. My husband was in there this morning and he told the lady sorry I have a return. He asked if it was an inconvenience and she told him yes but I will be up there in a minute. My husband waited for almost 5 minutes before she came up to do the return with an attitude.That is your job you are choosing to do this, why be so rude? I get not every one is nice but not everyone is rude either!

Rude service. Had to wait over 5 minutes to check out because the workers were talking then had an attitude when she had to do her job and process a checkout. If youre that incompentent at your job you shouldnt have it

The majority of my interactions here have been pleasant. The staff is receptive and helpful. The aisels are a little narrow but given the limited space it's understandable. There seems to be a very close caring relationship among the staff. Including the willingness to close the store momentarily to make sure the very pregnant girl working did not have to walk home in the dark and cold. You rarely get praised for such minimal acts so here's a shoutout to the small town vibe that still thrives here. Good job and keep up the momentum.

Bad service started at the old location. I was talking to a fabulous woman in my town and I had been to the Dollar General that morning and that morning. I could not get over how rude the Manager was. Then my friend tells me that a 79 years old she works for was in there and she is a diabetic, (if you know anyone who is, they have to pee a lot).She needed to use the restroom and the manager would not let her said no public use. Needless to say the woman did not make it home and when she got home she just sat in her driveway humiliated and cried because she had peed her pants. Now to add insult to injury she had to have her car cleaned.I am sorry but as human decency goes: If an old person or a kid needs to pee/use the facilities you let them. Everyone knows this except for this b#$%^.So a month goes by and my friend is over again and she says Same Manager is at it again. I was like NO, what could she do that was worse. The same woman was in there with a friend, her sugar dropped and she could feel it. So she grabbed a candy bar and Manager said you have to pay for that before you eat it. The friend grabbed it paid for it real quick and gave it to her then proceeded to tell her that she was diabetic. This Manager looked at the friend like; well she should have taken better care of herself. There are examples for days. Why is she still there.

Dollar general in Minonk stinks! they only have one employee who's been there for a long time who smiles at you. The rest of the older employees (Mgr too)are lazy grouches. They tend to take their time getting to you, they don't care how long it takes them to check you out, they don't care if you can't find the price,. Myself and others have put stuff down and walked away to come back later because they have held up the lines so long. I love DG products but most of the employees in this store need an attitude adjustment!

Please check cameras on 10/06/2021 at 7:00pm to confirm this. I waited at the counter waiting for any of the 3 employees smoking out front to finish smoking. I’m going to highly doubt the reason 3 people are staffed is so they can all go smoke together. Next time I’m just walking out with my products. Have your staff act like the middle aged adults they were.

My experience is never a good one when I come to this Dollar General. The manager is very rude and acts like it is burdensome that she needs to ring up items. Today I stood at the counter for 5 minutes ringing the bell for assistance and she still would not come to check me out. I ended up leaving without my items due to me being on my lunch break and could not be late.

Sad to see all employees NOT wearing mask and the ones that did had it below their nose or on their chins. Aren't their regulations to follow in dollar generals everywhere? Minonk can still spread covid and ALL customers any age can carry virus or have it! Please protect everyone!!

Newly remodeled store. Has a bit of everything from food to home goods to clothes and personal toiletries.Staff is always nice and helpful. I've always had a positive experience shopping here.
