My mechanic of over 40 years recommended Mike’s Automotive in Millstadt when my son’s car needed broken bolts extracted from the cylinder head. Not only did they do an outstanding job, but the service was fast and the cost was very reasonable. George (the owner) answered the phone both times I called and is a super nice guy. I have a 2014 Ram 2500 that I took in for alignment. Alignment was done same day. About a week later I noticed my steering off a bit. I drive a lot so I looked under the truck to see what was going on and found the primary steering linkage between the pitman arm and the knuckle was completely loose. This is a CRITICAL piece to the steering. If this had came completely off, I'd have probably died because most of my commute is interstate. I called the manager and they repaired the same day but said that it's possible it just 'backed off'. There's no possible way this piece is supposed to be able to 'back off'. I don't normally leave bad reviews. I'm highly against it actually. I understand things happen. But when you make a mistake, own it. I will not be taking any business here. EVER. To miss this during an alignment is bad enough, but then to not own the mistake and treat me like an idiot is salt on the wound. 100% would NOT recommend this shop.Service: Wheel alignment

George at the Millstadt location is respectful, polite, and an excellent listener. He was very responsive to my email inquiries and scheduled my appointment. I had the fuel vapor charcoal canister replaced and diagnostics performed on the emission control system with a check engine code resolved. I feel the cost for labor and parts was reasonable and a good value. I will use this facility for all my future preventive and corrective maintenance. Very satisfied.Service: Auto emissions testing

I went to Mike's Automotive to have the Catalytic converter changed. I dropped my truck off that Thursday night & the keys in the drop box. He called me Friday morning at 10:40 to tell me the job was complete, he had done a test drive & everything was good to go. His prices are very reasonable

My family has been going to Mike's Millstadt location for all of our automotive repair needs as long as I can remember. I have relied on him since I got my license in 2013. George has gotten to know my family & our specific cars & their problems well. My husband has recently started taking his car (that used to be my grandma's) to Mike's, and George remembered this car from when my grandmother first purchased it in the 1990s.Every visit is personable, well-explained, timely, and very fair in price.
