What sets the Mendota, IL store apart from the others is that the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I know the other CVS stores have good people working for them but this one is so consistent that it blows me away every time!

Extremely rude. Never have your meds in stock! When questioned, pharmacist became very rude, flipped me off as I pulled away, had children in the car with me! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

Went in to grab formula after I got off work an hour before they close. Got up front just to be rudely forced to use the self check out. The manager was extremely rude while helping me and then the self check out wouldn’t accept WIC and I could tell she was angry, everything she did and said was done aggressively. There’s no reason to treat a customer that way just because you want to go home. I ended up leaving without formula and feeling very disrespected. I typically have great service at this location but tonight was an exception.

Please update your hours. According to Google the store is open until 10 pm. Got there at 9:15 pm for an emergency children’s Tylenol run and they are closed.

Recently visited. Pharmicist not too helpful! Cashier tried to get me to upgrade my card. Neglected to inform me of $5 montly fee. If i would not have read the agreement when he said just sign here, would have signed up for auto $5 fee. Disgraceful!I had a prescription that has not been called in by doctor for pickup. My mother needed this. The tech read what iy was and helped us get the scrip, but after 4 hours when they fonally got the prescription. They DID NOT have it and we had to wait for them to transfer and i had to drive 20 miles each way to get it! Finally at 2:30 I had the item?

I usually really like CVS in Mendota, the staff has always been friendly to me. However, I’ve noticed that they are not stocked up on the majority of items, especially baby care. They have not had any size 6 diapers in any brand for at least a month now, they are completely out of kids ear ache drops, and from what I’m seeing they have no infants gas relief drops either because everything says out of stock. Last time I was in store, the shelves were insanely empty and I don’t know if it is a supply chain issue or if the manager is simply not replacing stock. It seems there’s another store in our town having the same issue about being out of stock of everything, but that’s because their inventory sits on carts in the middle of the isles boxed up. Would really like for CVS in town to start re stocking their products so that we don’t have to run to Peru for every little thing.

I shared my opinion once and it got removed and it is because it was a bad review. I'm not sorry because if you have rude and unfriendly staff working in a place like this your not gonna get good reviews. The only nice folks are the one in the pharmacy. I won't give good reviews on any place that is rude to customers. Just being honest.

Drive 20 kins into town and then sit at kiosk for drive thru for 20 mins and didn't even get acknowledged that I was waiting. Helping another car but should've had them pull out and wait a few until their pick up was ready. Meanwhile 5 other cars in line gave up and left the store. I was #6 to leave without my prescription .

Terrible! I can't tell you how many issues I've had with them, they don't care. I have changed pharmacies. It's sad they use to be fantastic but it has gone down hill. Just use a different pharmacy to save yourself from neverending headaches!

We came to this store today (10/17/2021) to pick up a couple of items. As we arrived at the store we notice there were no cars in the parking lot then notice the sign on the door, it was 5:22pm. The note read: "store closed due to staff issues". This store usually stays open till 9pm.I wonder what kind of issues they have, short staffed?

I used to have an great experience when I went occasionally but this particular time was an terrible experience. I went in the morning, there was one cashier who had a customer who was very particular and taking a very long time, the cashier had to keep voiding the transaction and redoing it. I was a customer standing there with 3 children, the customer asked can she get help, the cashier stated no she couldn’t because the manger was unloading the truck, so when I asked can they get someone she said she is the only one. When I called to talk to the store manager he told me, unfortunately that’s what has to happen. I asked what if there was 10 customers and she was the only one, would he be able to come help. He stated no he couldn’t come help, unfortunately they would have to wait, because he has to be there to unload the truck. Wow that’s what you call good customer service, I think not!

Pharmacy is horrible. I spoke with the pharmacist about getting a prescription filled using the GoodRX coupon. He told me it would be filled and the price would be honored. When I went to pick it up it was 80 somthing dollars instead of the 23.00 I was told. He claimed they sent him the wrong manufacturer medication and there was nothing he could do. He seemed to think it was funny. I used this pharmacy years ago and they kept screwing up my scripts. I will never set foot in that store again!

I've used this pharmacy since 2013. I've never had problems with the staff. I've had problems with scripts & manufactures. They always called me back when they said they would. They've directed to help with cost of my seizure medication when I suddenly lost coverage 3 years ago.
