Wish I could leave 0 stars. Rude, horrible customer service from Alexis, who claims she is a manager, and Ben. Alexis was more worried about leaving than finishing up ringing customers who were already waiting in her line. She never mentioned, until she decided to walk away while the last 2 people who were already in her line were at the register that she was closed. She flat out refused to ring them up and told them they would have to go wait in the other longer line. The 2 people were standing at the end of her line, with a total of 5 people and she said absolutely nothing about being closed. She just walked away, got her stuff and came back telling them to get into another line. Was very dismissive, called Ben, then walked out of the store. Ben did nothing to accommodate the last 2 customers. Just told them to get in a longer line. He wanted to review the video. Shame how managers deal with customers who are spending their money. I will never spend another $1.25 in this location.

I will not go in this store anymore because the black cashier with the long fake eyelashes needs to be trained on how to treat customers I do not think she like her job and she also has dreadlocks .

Dollar tree in Melrose Park is the best! Fully stocked months prior to the holidays and have new items every day. Always find what I am searching for and more.

It's a decent location, usually really really busy. But friendly staff. And just like all the other locations their stock can be really low but when they get items in it's neatly stocked!

Ok so a few years ago i left an unsatisfactory review. Things have definitely changed for the better. Must be new management plus new employees eho are a hell of a lot better than years ago. The store is cleaner and more respect all around. Im happy with the positive changes. Keep it going

Lazy workers that lie about there being no helium just because you orders 5 balloons . Maybe they shouldn’t have the displays of what’s up there since they are always “out” . Do not recommend! Get your balloons at another location ! :)

A great way to get the most for your money. Dollar Tree is now one dollar and twenty-five cents for almost everything. A sign of the economic times. There are also some items that cost 3 dollars and 5 dollars. Dollar Tree is still a favorite of the thrifty shopper.

I asked the ladies if they could help me inflate 2 balloons for a birthday and she told me to ask the guy in register 5 and the guy told me whats inflated is whats there is whats there . I needed birthday balloons . All the one that were there the strings were cut real short & unable to even grab and they seen us struggling to try to get them and no one offered to help or assist with it . Its something so simple that would’ve been so quick. There was no line either when i asked the guy in register 5 so i wasn’t interrupting anything . Disrespectful absolutely got me upset but i didnt bother to even say anything

The manager Ben is very rude ! Bad customer service . Never stocked up and or have helium and the other lady blows up any balloon without really knowing what will really sell which leaves No helium for the ones that need it when a customer does want to purchase .

The staff at this store is simply Excellent and very professional very knowledgeable and very friendly. The manager certainly put together a great team.

Some good deals to be had at this location.Things are still a dollar here and the selection is good.One small note:Don't buy friendly nutty Buddy bars here. Go to Aldi's and get their version. The friendly's version has a strange aftertaste and doesn't have the same fresh crunch.You get a 12 ct box at Aldi's for $1.35 and 8 ct here for $1.

What can I say? It's a dollar store, and they're always stocked whenever I visit from out of town. Usually have set intentions coming here since I live out of state and I usually find what I need each time ☺️

I used to love dollar stores and this one in particular because I thought it had a lot less junky crap than other dollar stores. But now that I am much more mindful of the quality of my purchases, excess packaging, how far the item travelled to reach me and all the other stuff that goes into a green mindset I am not so jazzed about this store.It still is a good place to go to for decent greeting cards, gift wrap, holiday decorations and Mylar balloons but most of the other stuff is low quality and the staff is not so great. I was handed my receipt with a "thank youuuuuuuuuuu...." as the cashier had her back to me and he hand outstretched behind her. Her conversation with her co worker was more important than the customer in front of her.

Dollar tree has an amazing selection of items for just a buck. Food items, party supplies, office supplies, home items, pet items and much more. I'd think that with inflation they would have to raise the price at some time. I have been to several Dollar Trees and this particular location is not as nice as others.

This store was our favorite but has been on the decline. They moving to a different location. Store is a mess. Things on the floor not the shelves. Out of a lot of products. Long lines , store not clean at all yesterday water on the floor paper towels just thrown on the water no cleaning up . Will be looking for a different location.

Tonight I want shopping and I was charged for 2sets of Led light sets ( battery operated 10ct). Just got home and turns out I have only 1 set of the led lights. Now am short a light set and a$1. Witch was going to be used for my son's Sunday school project.

What a "HORRENDOUS" ODOR immediately awaits any customer(s) who enters this location/business..I thought there must be a freezer out with some ROTTEN food? The manager informs me that it's the backup of waste due to the rainstorm several days ago, from a nearby river & unfortunately there was NOTHING that he could do about it. REALLY??? I informed him that he could purchase odor blocking air fresheners to put throughout his store!!! I started to take some off their shelves and spray but also place them throughout the store. Unfortunately, I COULDN'T shop without holding my clothing garment to cover my nasal passage..What a "DISGUST" so I had to leave.

Almost all Chinese junk there is a few American product's. Some stuff is great other stuff is pure garbage. But they do a nice job there Dollar tree is good 👍 place to shop. You have to cherry pick what you buy😁

The cashier, instead of handing me my change, placed it on the counter with my receipt.I had to reach over and pick it up. I have never had a cashier that did this. Is this something new?

I just love 💜Dollar Tree🌳 store. I go to DT a few times a week to get some of my daily use items. Always leave the store with a smile on my face 😁. In addition, the staff is very friendly.

Their sales associate Linda is very impatient. Instead of handing me my receipt and my change, she pretty much tossed it at me and just gives me a dirty look when I have to pick it up.
