The coolest place ever! You can find fixtures, doors, sinks, door knobs, cabinets- all kinds of antique versions of these items for very reasonable prices. It's kind of like a museum.I really had fun looking at everything.Highly recommend this place!

Really cool place to find old stuff. I'm not sure how to lable the "stuff". Old trim, windows, sinks, on and on. If you're looking to renew an old house with a door handle that isn't made anymore, they might have it. A great way to keep an old home looking vintage. We didn't find what we were looking for but that doean't mean you won't and it doesn't mean they won't have it the next time you look. It was really cool to see what they have.

Well worth it!!! the heart of the West Side West Suburbs outside Chicago Maywood Illinois!! You must go in person. Bring your measurements and measure tape and make it work. Imagine what you can do. Top high-end names appliance ex. Real wood doors. Also, this place is a non-profit. Yes, it takes donations and market it products. Some think it's over pricey. It's all like a big toy store full of stuff. Go see for yourself. I'll be going back and taking pictures and giving an update. Best of luck with your project .

A positively great space for finding old boards, vintage sinks, dusty light fixtures, varied windows, a panoply of doors, miscellaneous handles, occasional escutcheons... & maybe even a ludicrously valuable, handmade-in-France cooking range. Pricing was at times lofty, but it all seemed quite reasonable; when an item felt expensive I could easily see how anyone with a bigger budget would be happy to pay such an amount. For those like me who tend to make smaller purchases with uncertain future repurposing projects in mind, don't worry! The ReUse Depot will absolutely have something for you as well. I wound up buying a 3"x12" piece of old-growth hardwood (about 4 feet in length) for a rustic headboard, plus 25 mismatched brushed-nickel pulls to charmingly refresh our kitchen cabinetry. The whole little lot cost $75 after tax & that's a downright puny sum for the amount of artful pizzazz those pieces will add to our home.

Insane mix of hardware, accessories, and lighting. Architectural artifacts and old cabinetry. Some real gems in the antique lighting department. For anyone who likes to hunt and dig for hidden gems, this is your place.

A true hunting ground for treasures. John and Tim are always willing to lend a hand or some advice. Aside from a great team there is always something for everyone! Doors, hardware, lumber, lighting, appliances, electrical supplies and a few antique tools...always something new and ready to give a second life!

Always a great stop for cabinets, lighting, bathroom, hardwood and hardware. Was looking for a replacement ceiling fan with a modern look. Many options although not quite my taste. I'll be sure to return for some additonal door hardware. Best prices on used American Standard, Kohler and Toto bathroom fixtures.

This place is Awesome! Everything is very well organized, There are so many different unique items there, and the pricing is very reasonable! also, the gentleman who assisted us throughout the store was incredible! He genuinely cared about helping us find the right type of doors we were looking for, gave us really creative options for repurposing them to fit our needs and he gave us a story behind each one of the items that we were purchasing. Not only is it a really great place but you can tell the people are passionate about what they do! I really had such a fantastic experience here and can't wait to go back!

Amazing selection of anything you could possibly want/need for your house. Some real gems of old furniture pieces (stoves, etc.) and everyone that works there really loves what they do and are eager to help. Definitely check it out!

What a vintage dream. We were referred to this location by our family and WOW! EVERYTHING inside is incredible. It is packed floor to ceiling with everything that is vintage, antique or salvage. From light fixtures to doors and everything in-between. Plus the staff was very friendly. We're looking forward to our next visit. I wonder what we'll find.

Absolute hidden gem. They've done a fantastic job of preserving building materials from every type of vintage of the 1900s. Doors, reclaimed wood, cabinets, appliances, trim... I even saw a 1940s polio brace. An absolute must visit for those who want to preserve some Chicago history and add it to their home.

If you like antiquing or have a creative mind for repurposing this is a great place to stop. Better yet if you have an older home or are a "flipper" this is an absolute must place to visit. The only reason it is a 4 instead of a 5 star is they are slightly understaffed. My purchases have included, high end bathroom fixtures, hardwood flooring, doors, dressers and tables.

I've found many treasures at this spot as I've worked to renovate my property which is a vintage building. It has been costly but several items were impossible to find elsewhere with such original quality. What a store!

Oh heelll no. As an owner of multiple vintage properties, it would have been great to do business here as they have lots of great stuff - but the pretentiously mustachioed, couldn’t-be-bothered d-bag that works there was so unhelpful and off-putting, that I left. I wanted to buy a door and had my measurements but I asked him about returning / exchanging if the door didnt work. We eventually agreed to an exchange, which would be fine… it was the attitude, the huffing that preceded the annoyed response of, “no returns”, that just told me doing business with this guy would be more of a headache than its worth. The ppl at Salvage One, Rebuilding Exchange, or Architectural Artifacts, or anywhere else really, are so much more pleasant that Id happily pay twice as much to not be made to feel like I was an annoyance for asking questions. No thanks ReUse Depot, ill take my $$$ elsewhere.

First visit today & LOVED it! Organized, CLEAN, and easy to find what you’re looking for. Lots of options - very reasonable prices. Guys were friendly & super helpful. If you enjoy the hunt, this is a great place. Oh & easy to get to right off the freeway less than a mile.

Love this place. Love everything about it. Rather than dumping construction materials into a dump, ReUse Depot is salvaging reusable items for DIYers and design/construction teams.I’ve gone a couple times now and the prices are reasonable and the place is sorted well. Talk to the owners and they’ll give you some good stories.Last trip we bought some old growth hard wood boards for a reclaimed wood bookcase, and a cabinet from the 1920’s that well refinish to give it a new life in our bathroom.Love this place.

Great place! You can find nearly anything you want, even a beautiful old wooden staircase! Cool vintage cabinets, pieces, etc. Also newer items. They have great selection of new and vintage bathroom fixtures, tubs, sinks. Worth coming to if you are building or remodeling and save tons of money. Good for Mother Earth!!

Fun place to explore for used home goods. Need a cool door handle? Or sink, or doors...so much to offer. I love that the pieces will get a new life, instead of going to the trash. We bought a pedestal sink

This is a great local resource especially for owners of older homes that often need pieces replaced. I have noticed that their prices tend to be higher considering what can be found comparably on Craigslist or other local stores. But the concentration of unique and amazing artifacts in one place may justify the premium. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, great people.

I second the comments about guard cat. He or she (not sure the gender) guarded my toddler the whole time we walked the premises.About the place, it’s pretty cool too. You can occasionally find really good secondhand stuff that you would pay double/triple for at a big box store.
