The pharmacy manager Sara. She is the sweetest lady ever. Even when folks are hot tempered she is as cool as can be! This is a hateful world I couldn't begin to do her job without losing it on hateful people! I really hope Walgreens understands what an asset Sara is to their company !

Pharmacist that assisted me over the phone tonight was terrible. I had notification that my prescription was delayed and required a phone call. Whoever answered the phone (didn't give her name) couldn't find any info about a delayed script. Was very difficult to hear over the phone, yet when I mentioned it, she was able to hold the phone properly and could be heard just fine. No explanation as to why my script was delayed. When I asked for an explanation, she became even more rude. When finished talking, she actually hung up on me without being professional. Terrible customer service! Walgreen's needs to do better!!

I am so glad I do not have to use this pharmacy anymore. Unfortunately I had to pick up for someone else today. I do not miss waiting in line to pick up prescriptions and it takes forever. Not to mention that certain employees do not have any manners. I say thank you & all I can get is an mmm hmmm. Do better!

By far the worst Walgreens in our area. I have been FORCED to use this location due to COVID complications in shipping. Each of the two times I have been basically turned away due to wait times. I live over an hour away, depending on traffic, and none of the people I have spoken to have ever done more than the bare minimum to help. One person actually just booted my script back to Charleston.WORST WALGREENS IN THE AREA.

The pharmacist Melissa was incredibly unhelpful and rude. I asked very simple questions regarding my medication and she completely shut me and my concerns down. I asked about the availability of my medication and I was told in order to ever hear if the medication was even in stock to “get a doctors order”. I am a patient at the charleston Walgreens and was told by my doctor and the other pharmacist to call other locations to see if the medication is in stock at a different location.

My son needed a prescription that our insurance didn't cover. They were very busy, but took time to try and get the cost down of the med. The pharmacist was very helpful and explained everything to us of why the med wasn't covered. We recently switched from CVS because we had a very horrible experience, to Walgreens, where they treat us with the up most respect. A great big thank you goes out to the pharmacy at the Mattoon Walgreens!

After not being able to find a specific product in a neighboring Walgreens store, we called the Mattoon Walgreens to see if they had it. We were put on hold for the sales associate to look, we were then told that “yes, the product was in stock.” We then drove several miles only to find the store did not have it. The manager who we spoke to on the phone said she never spoke anyone prior to our visit. We were disappointed in this experience for sure.

I went unattended at the window for so long, I eventually just came in. A disorganized mess when it comes to placing orders for pick up. The staff wasn't even apologetic about the misunderstanding regarding my order and the girl in the pharmacy had an attitude when the confusion was due to the staff's own incompetence.

I think Shawn helped me get scrpts straightened out. I recently moved here from another state. Frustrations getting different Advantage Plan, PCP, meds, etc. When it came to transferring my bevy of meds, a kind courteous competent efficient woman at this Walgreens got it all done. I take six meds every day. There are several meds I take during pollen season. I spoke with another pharmacy technician here who had some difficulty figuring out just what to do. Not sure about name, Shawn was wonderful! I am very grateful! Thank you very much!

Walgreens employees who take the passport picture need to know that any purple in the photo will get your passport rejected. This mistake cost us a lot of money!!

Used them for 11 years happily, until tonight. Meds weren't ready the when I'd stopped in earlier in the day (2 hours after they'd been called in by the doctor). Came back just before 5, not knowing they were closing early for holiday. Drove up right as the last person pulled out and they shut the window as I arrived!! Went inside, and there was nothing but rudeness and unwillingness to help. Now NO MEDS FOR TWO DAYS DUE TO HOLIDAY - no treatment for severe UTI!!!

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I have been with out my meds, that I paid hundreds of dollars for, and they have had my prescription for 2 and 1/2 weeks now. Still saying that they have not gotten the meds in Stock and REFUSED to get them. Rude and unprofessional.

Been twice I went there to pick up a prescription and they was temporarily closed. Cause they dont have enough employees. I came from ARCOLA twice. Also have had trouble getting my meds in a timely manner. They are gonna lose my business.Im going else where

Try to get my prescription they said they were closed no pharmacist on duty all Sunday at all no way to contact doctor very unprofessional they were not helpful at all told me go to emergency room already did that's why I was there for my prescription now I have to find a way to get my prescription filled can't even transfer to another Walgreens even though manager said I could very very unprofessional lot of people were very angry manager doesn't know what she's doing either why don't they have a backup pharmacist multimillion-dollar Corporation taking advantage of the small guy again okay how do you send it we're supposed

you go in there to get a script filled first thing in the morning and your waiting on ot and your the only person and it still takes them 25 minutes to fill it.have went to decatur and got it filled in less than 10 minutes.dosent make sence
