Extremely rude employees, I was so disappointed in their poor attitudes. I will not be returning.Cute stuff, not the best thrift store prices and not the cleanest store.. I could deal with these things but not the employees. Hope this helps anyone in the area!

If they ask for your ID it is because it is store policy, not because of your paranoia about racism. I'm a honky and they ask for mine all the time.This goodwill is much better than the Savoy location. Occasionally find pricing that makes me scratch my head, but for the most part they price kindly.

A very friendly place full of treasures and finding things that would otherwise be expensive at other shopping locations. There's stuff there for anyone and everyone. The customer service is spectacular as well as finding items that are in great condition.

I found big time expensive items for a few dollars! One being a Croft and Barrel 100% leather coat for $8 mixed in with all the other coats! FIVE STARS for Goodwill in Mattoon, Illinois!!! SCORE!

Racist man was my cashier today, randomly asked to see my ID in order for me to use a card he assumed I stole and checked my five dollar bill for counterfeit. So ridiculous, I’m never coming back. Clothes was raggedy and it was too hard to find anything decent enough for me to put up with unprofessional and discriminatory behavior.

Love wabash valley goodwill friendly staff. A wide range of gently used items from electronics, to toys to clothing and shoes. But the shoes...Ive never seen higher prices at any second hand type store. Just nuts. But almost everything else is fair priced.

Honestly don't know why I continue going back! Got screamed at for not wearing a mask. Employees are beyond rude. I have heard them talk rudely about customers after they leave. Payed with my card and they needed a photo ID and then rudely looked at me like they doubted that it was my card. Seriously need to quit acting like this is a high end store when most of their items are crusty and stained. Also prices are higher then any other goodwill. Really don't even deserve 1 star!

Plenty of stock and reasonably priced. No dedicated shoe section, but shoes are on display on top of clothes racks throughout the store. Friendly/helpful staff.

This place is normally just fine but I just bought a movie off of them and I didn’t check to see if there was a disc inside the case bc I trusted that there would be and I got home and opened it and there was no disc so I called them and they told me they can’t do a thing I just gave them money I earned for an empty case. Thanks goodwill👎👎

Goodwill's percent of income donated is miniscule compared to the profit and bragging about employing people is strange, they have to hire people to work in the stores, their not doing anything different than other stores.Look up what the CEO of Goodwill makes and the percent they keep. They don't provide any more jobs than they need to sell over priced used items to poor people.

Prices are higher then other goodwills.things are donated but they jack up prices on stuff instead of passing on savings to the public. You think they would rather sell 100 items reasonably priced.then to sell only a few to people who can afford it.

This goodwill would sale more clothes if they were color coded white shirts with white , black with black etc. Also jeans by size (6-8-10) instead of small medium large . Shorts by size too.

I like going to good Will store and they have a lot of cheap stuff like clothes and miscellaneous stuff AND VHS movies.i like to go to mattoon good Will store.because I haven't been there for a long time

Customer service was very rude and Goodwill lost a customer for life over there rude customer service and trying to require customers wear a mask it's against my family religious beliefs and a violation of Americans constitutional rights.
