I had a young man named Dustin an extremely nice man. I had no idea what the thing was I was sent in to buy. Dustin walked with me all the way across the store and even willing to walk to the other end to show me another option! He is exceptional. There is also a man named Dale that anytime I need help with anything he is the man to find! He is very experienced and has a bunch of knowledge on everything in the store. Plus when I checked out a sweetheart Carolyn helped me , she got me set up with a charge card and saved me 25 dollars on my purchase! I talked about some personal things with myself. You know what that sweet lady gave me, a big hug before I left. I really needed that hug she just absolutely made my day!

Placed an order and was said I would receive it by the 3rd or 4th. Called today to find out where my product is and was told it's in Champaign and I won't receive it for another 3 days. Asked if I could go to Champaign and pickup and was told no FedEx has it. This will be the last time I shop with Home Depot, a sorry nothing we can do doesn't cut it. Had I known I'd have to wait an extra 4 days I would have purchased elsewhere.

Impossible to get associates to assist with plumbing needs in that area. They would physically walk away from that whole area if they saw you looking in their direction. Had to walk up to the front service desk and ask for assistance and then the youngster was not knowledgeable about anything plumbing related😡 Said he usually loads and unloaded trucks.

If I could give this place a negative 100 I would. I have been fighting for a month and a half to get my refund for flooring I over paid over $500 and have YET to see the refund and anytime I call they have no idea or just say on we will call you back and I never hear from anyone. I will never ever use this place for anything again.

This place needs to get it's act together, being in retail for many years, I would like this place to an organized riot. A little follow up and follow through with customers would be better than the sound of silence. I had been a customer most of my life, but after this past year and the many disappointments, I refuse to ever step foot in this establishment ever again.

I had another pleasant shopping experience at this Home Depot in Mattoon a couple of days ago. I have not once had a bad shopping experience here. The store is stocked, clean and the prices are better than or highly competitive with others like it. Where this Home Depot shines is in the people who work there. Whenever I have needed assistance, a staff member was close at hand. There are many staff members walking the floor asking if one needs assistance and/or just being pleasant. I have found everyone to be friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It makes a big difference in where one chooses to shop when one is made to feel a valued customer.

I usually have a good shopping experience at Home Depot. Today, I put back approximately $500 worth of merchandise after walking the store multiple times without having one sales associate ask if I needed any help. A couple of employees did brush past me as if I was in their way.

There are usually way more employees on the floor than it seems like there's work to be done, but that's a big advantage if you need help. Store is clean and well stocked, and we've never had an issue with returns for an overbuy on a project.

Associate Savanah and her direct supervisor were very unprofessional today during my visit. They (mainly Savanah) made me feel unwelcome. They were hostile and rude. I usually feel very welcomed at HD, but not sure how I feel about going back now. Please do better... shout out to the assistant manager who was way more professional. My issue still wasn't resolved, but it was finally handled the way it should have been in the first place.

The delivery driver took my load to the wrong apartment and rescheduled without contacting me I called the Store they explained they couldn't get me my merchandise even though it says deliveries run until 8pm, they also explained the delivery driver doesn't work for them that he is a 3rd party delivery driver, so take into account they can reschedule without you knowing. I will take my business elsewhere. Thank you for wasting my time Home Depot.

They have a great selection of products. Their prices are very competitive. Staff are generally helpful and pleasant. They offer in-store pickup and Curbside pickup and Delivery. They seem to rely greatly on self service cash registers. Generally I find Home Depot a nice place to shop.

This location had a great selection of plants and lawn care equipment when i visited. The associate that helped me was very knowledgeable about lawncare in general and made suggestions that have really helped me. I will definitely continue shopping here, the location is very convenient for me.

Like every other home Depot I've been in, it was very well stocked, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Especially the lady who helped me in the cabinet department. She was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable about her product. I think she told me she had been there at that store for 18 years. That in itself says a lot about the business.

The web site said that they had 2 black Friday special 22' gorilla ladders in stock. We couldn't find any. We ask for assistance from 3 associates standing by the checkout area. We were told if there wasn't any in the ladder aisle, they probably didn't have any. I said the website said there were 2 in stock they just shrugged, and they didn't know about that. Shockingly they never even offered to help us. We decided to walk out and go to harbor freight

Home Depot has a large selection of products. They offer shipping, in-store shopping, curbside service, and in-store pickup. They have competitive prices and a larger selection than many other similar types of stores. If you order something online for pickup they will usually hold it for about 7 days. It is a good store if you are in need of products from home repair to a major construction job. I encourage you to try them out if you have one nearby.

Don't trust buying anything for delivery online. We ordered something online to be delivered and their system didn't show the order until a few days after. It was the last one and few days later someone came in and bought it. I was told when they were set to deliver and the day after they send out a cancellation email. Called and they said item was bought. So we purchased it first, but because of their dumb online system someone came in days after and bought the last one. How can a customer trust buying from you when online ordering isn't a garauntee? That being said the customer service people at this location did go out of their way to make it right. Not getting the exact item, but they offered a discount for a similar item. Just be careful ordering online when stock is low. It's better to go in store to ensure your item gets tagged right away for delivery.
