A great selection of local and in season produce. I was also impressed with the meat and deli selection offered. For a small town, this grocery store has many of the options I normally drive 45 min to an hour for. The lady at the checkout was friendly and asked me to sign up for their store card. I’ll definitely return.

Place looks nice and all but not very hygienic becarful when ordering deli section you can see flies in the food told the employee working in that area she just said oh sorry 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I have been a shopper of County Market and Niemann's Grocery. I must say the staff are very helpful and I enjoy shopping there. In spite of that I absolutely cannot ignore False Advertising anywhere. False advertising makes one wonder what else is not truthful at the store or in their marketing. County Market and Niemann's Grocery advertised "Pillsbury Flour Select Varieties, 5 lb. Bag $ 2 .49 With your MAX Card.' Both stores said that just the All Purpose Flour and the All Purpose Flour was on sale. So why advertise "Select Varieties" when it is All Purpose Flour??? Marketing could have been honest with their customers and said "Pillsbury Flour All Purpose Flour, 5 lb. Bag $ 2 .49 With your MAX Card." I said it so why can't they say the same???

Everything is real expensive. Usually good quality until it comes to alot of meats being very brown. I got boneless wings as well and they werent very good very soggy. Couldve made better wings with a gush of nut and a toothpick.

We met Lori today and she was very rude. The other lady's who helped were super nice after this lady doing stuff at the register was very disrespectful to me and family. I've never had a bad experience until today with this Lori lady.

I feel out of all grocery stores in the area... this location has me driving 10 miles for the awesome remodel, self check outs, the best vegetables out of all stores in the area, easy deli access, very open easy lay out, so much to offer, very welcoming staff members, been looking for a store like this after moving here from the city....

My husband and I had a negative experience this morning. My husband went back to the store and spoke to the manager Jason and I have to say that I am extremely impressed on how Jason made the experience better. He is a fantastic manager and I recommend if you ever have an issue speak to him. he was very polite and understanding and went above and beyond to fix the issue.

Do not shop or waste your money at this location. Manager by the name of Larry Harrington rude and incompetent sold me rotten fruit and then would not exchange the items with my receipt before I had even left the store. They do not stand behind their purchases and are a rip off. Severely gone downhill over the years.

VERY VERY VERY RUDE cashier, Gwen. If I wanted to bag my own groceries I would shop ALDI'S. She bagged 1 bag of chips and 1 can of Chili. Then we had to ask her for our bag. Needs to understand what CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. I will call Management about this experience. This business just difficult. Digital coupons are a joke. Can't use because they don't have the products half the time.

These guys have a great selection of just about anything here for your grocery shopping. Last time I went, I got some steaks that turned out really well on the grill. Their prices are for the most part pretty reasonable too. I recommend this place.

Good deals. Might want to teach cashiers not to criticize people buying wind chimes. Found it rude how she said they are annoying and was holding them the best we could not to make noise. Was purchasing to take to my father's headstone. I said my dad won't mind he love to hear them..

This store is always clean, the staff is always friendly, and everything is easy to find. I often go there with two little boys 3 under and can still get in and out with minimal fuss. This is one store I don't mind going in when I have them with me!

Best store on that side of town. Its not the cheapest but it is convenient if you live over there. Plenty of parking spots. It has a red box machine and a lotto machine. Lots of positives to this place not very many negatives other than slightly more expensive than Wal-Mart. Best thing is without a doubt is the fruits and vegetables way better than the other stores in town.

Always open, always friendly and polite with excellent service. Prices are decent and they have recently done an excellent job n the organization and keeping fresh meat and fruits and vegetables checked often and displayed nicley for the best for their customers. They even have lil shoppers training carts for Lil ones. My son loves to zoom through the isles n fill up his cart.

When I'm nearby, I prefer to shop here over other grocers in town. This location almost always has what I'm looking for, so that's helpful. However, as of late, a few of the cashiers have shooed me off, or have pointed me elsewhere to stand in line (this has happened after they just completed a transaction with another customer/they're standing around talking to their fellow associates, not doing anything). I'm not too keen on shopping at this location anymore after these experiences. Do better, Mattoon CM.

Everyone is always so nice and very helpful. When i was there yesterday, I realized I forgot my cane at home. So I got a cart from the rack. When I was done I told the cashier i needed a cart to go to my car. She went to get me a cart. She was so nice.

Only place in town that carries Daisy Cottage Cheese. Only grocery store on that side of town, so it's nice when I don't want to run all the way across town, & it's on my way home from work. Like the drive thru services. It's always freezing, even on the hottest summer day.

It's a nice local little grocery store. It's not far from Broadway which is the main street of Mattoon town. And they actually have quite a fine selection of 🍸Liquors,🍷wines and 🥃spirits!

I love county mrkt. All of their meats and seafoods are fresh. There is also an area of liquor too. 1 stop shopping. They usually have weekly specials. I enjoy the seafood specials. Fresh Salmon...yummy!

Sick of your employee parking out in customer parking in a place where people like ME like to park our NICE vehicles to keep dings out of our doors and you have an employee parking a brown Chevy truck by the cart corral at the back of the parking lot DAILY. You have EMPLOYEE PARKING for a reason and it's for the convenience of your customers. PISS POOR MANAGEMENT is what it is ad I have brought it to your attention SEVERAL TIMES.
