Awesome. Very reasonably priced. First time there since they moved long ago from the previous location. Extremely helpful, last-minute Valentines Day order (I didn't expect to have it delivered) and they came through without any issues. Last minute change in the bouquet to add a summer flower not anywhere near in season in the northern hemisphere and they nailed it!! Highly recommended not for just special occasions but all occasions when you're thinking of someone special. Love you more T

Great, friendly service. I called to buy flowers for a friend in the hospital- The shop was closing early today, but the lady on the phone said she would make it happen. A relief for me, and hopefully a nice surprise for my friend. Thank you!

I was incredibly disappointed with not only the handling of my order, but the arrangement itself. I am from out of town and ordered the Sweet Solace arrangement for my step-grandmother's funeral. I gave the shop two days to create and deliver the arrangement to the funeral home -- ordered on a Tuesday for the Thursday service. I also requested that the flowers be delivered a few hours before the service if at all possible.On the day of the service, I was informed that the flowers had not arrived. I immediately called the flower shop and was told they didn't have an order for me (even though I had a confirmation number). I was told that they would look into it and call me back -- which they did with the news that they had looked through all the orders and couldn't find mine and all the deliveries to the funeral home had been made!The lady asked me what I had ordered. I told her the name of the arrangement, and she said she remembered making it. She said she would have the delivery driver return to the funeral home with it. I did receive confirmation that the flowers got there.However, the flowers came back home with some of the family members. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the arrangement looked nothing like the one I had purchased! I spent a great deal of money on the "better" grade of the arrangement. It appeared that I received some version of the "good" bouquet. There was a large amount of greenery and fewer roses than what was shown.Not satisfied with that, I sent an email to the flower shop. I am currently awaiting a response, but I am not hopeful.Needless to say, I do not plan to order from Mattoon Flower Shop again.

This shop doesn’t know what a goody basket is. I sent one to my sister and was really embarrassed by what she received. It was a bunch of cheap candy. Candy! I asked for chocolates, meaning nice chocolate like Ghiradelli, Lindt Lindor Truffles, Dove, etc. Instead she gets a Hershey’s chocolate bar, three musketeers (bleh🤮) an almond joy. The basket wasn’t even wrapped in cellophane or have a bow on it. Will never use this shop again. I’m so embarrassed! Oh and I spent $80 something on this cheap basket.
