Mark's is a gem. Their everyday prices are a bit higher than Walmart, as you'd expect, but their sales are outstanding. The quality and prices on their meat is really great. It's definitely worth keeping an eye out for their flyers and watching online. You can also do grocery pick ups!

Small town grocery store. They go out of their way for the customer. It's hard to compete against the big chain stores for prices, but they offer great weekly specials and have good value in their meat section.

Don't like fact name on sign says marks my store but charge to my card says county market #4Glass bottles of soda were flat even though cost more for the small bottle could of got a 2 liter for less. Sign on roast beef from deli said was on sale so I bought it to find out I got charged full price no big deal last penny I'll spend there everIn all everything is higher priced then the high priced county market. Did I forget to mention have to ring a bell for service at deli rang it 3 times about 5 minutes apart an still had to wait 20 minutes for somebody to show up then 20 minutes to basicly get 28 slices 20 roast beef 4 each of 2 different kinds of cheese

I like the store because their meat is high quality and more reasonable than their competition on the west side of town. The deli is small, yet they have fresh salads and an ample array of deli meats and cheeses.

Best place in Coles County for meat aside from an actual butcher shop. What I really like about My Store is that they have things that you won't generally find anywhere else in the area. They carry Ski soda which is what brings me to the yard.

Service was good, the people were great, but you need to be careful of the sales they have. I bought steaks for on sale for $5.00 a pack. There was 2 steaks in the pack, I was charged $10.00 and the owner said the sign said $5.00 per steak and there was 2 in the pack therefore it was $10.00. I felt like I was ripped off. The owner did not seem concerned with my problem.

I am from out of town and needed boxes to help my daughter move. A young man directed me to recently unloaded empty boxes that were not broken down, so that made my job easy. The back storage area was clean and organized. Everyone was working. Nice folks.

Best meat selection in town and great prices. They also have a good selection at the deli and you never have to wait forever like you do at Walmart. Again their prices are good.My favorite things are the homemade goodies. The lemon and chocolate cakes are delicious. My only complaint is that they run out of them too fast.Simply put....this is an awesome hometown neighborhood grocery that you really should visit!!

This store has some of the best meat I ever bought. The deli is a huge plus serving a wide variety of meats and side dishes. I have been thankful since I started to shop at this local family store. The service here is exceptional and the people are very friendly. I give this grocery store the highest grade that I can, make sure and try My Store when you get a chance.

Every employee we encountered was very polite and helpful. Prices seemed reasonable. Bought some deli potato salad and macaroni salad- yum!! Totally recommend 👌

It used to be a good place but it's went down hill fast. If you buy meat be prepared for it to be bad. Looks good till you get it home and open it. Smells and it's brown. Vegetables are molded in store. Numerous items I've told with mold in store and they don't care. Should be shut down, cleaned, and reopened.

Custom meat orders via phone & pickup are fast & easy. The butchers and deli staff are great to work with, and the meat selections are great.

I shopped at 5 pm two weeks ago. Nobody at the deli, when i heard the young man telling me just one moment. I waited, when he came to counter ,not so nice. Huge attitude. I guess i bothered his schedule. He was rude and obnoxious. When a guy entered the counter he was real nice. Made me wonder, if he thinks he could treat women like that? I did ask him, and gave him the reason. Meat looked badSales on pork good price, however, whatever he put in there obviously was frozen. Lots of blood and water had been in packaged meat.No, thanx i didn't by anything. I will not go back. Tired of excuses

I love going to my store...I've shopped there for years...they have some very good meat prices..and the homade goodies are wonderful..the pumpkin bars are so tasty.

I had to come back and change my 5 star rating after i got my 3rd meat package there. After the first they just got skimpier and skimpier.. The t bones are a quarter of the size they were the first time and we got 1 less the pork chops were literally almost as thin as paper and they were more bone than meat and it seems they double wrap everything so it weighs more. Even the packages they sent them in got smaller..

Well... Since they were out of some things that I was after, and His prices are pretty HIGH. It's 50/50 on the Help... Depends on who is working.But! To be fair... Some of the people are really nice. My 2cents.

Check the date if you buy from here.....small business...it's a little pricey. But they usually sell pretty good meet. Very convenient location though.! Excellent friendly service!

I like supporting the locals when I can. I usually skip a majority of the produce though. It doesn't sell fast enough so it occasionally goes bad sitting on the shelf. Especially strawberries. Overall good store.

Only ?? You had 1 pkg of ribs, asked if you had another. the deli lady said I will see but it will be $1 more a #.....came back & didnt have any. Good thing, because that's why we bought the 1 pk. Cause it was cheep. Why would it be $1 more a #?? If someone had to look or cut more, just to do there job??? Just asking.

Staff is always very helpful, and courteous. Their meat selection is very good, and of high quality. Try their deli for a hot lunch, or a great selection of meats, cheese's, and cold salads. SHOP LOCAL.

The best locally owned business in Mattoon. I went to school with Mark and he always seemed to be the one who was ahead of the crowd in the business world. Clean store, helpful and friendly staff...love to shop there.
