The gal behind the register was very nice and helpful. The store didn't have a bunch of stuff on the floor. My husband was in a wheelchair so that is the reason I look for things like that. Overall clean ,nice and helpful!

It's not the cleanest dolla gentral I've been in by far. It's usually a mess with trash and new stock on the floors of the aisles and an employee who acts like they don't see it or they are just sooo busy that they don't have time to fix the issue.

This is a very handy place to have in this neighborhood. It provides so many things that you need to have right now. Parking is easy, and it's quick to be in and out quickly. Sometimes I have to make more than one trip per day. LOL

A better DG that is in town. A bit cluttered but usually has what I'm looking for. Great customer service. Good selection of every day groceries and home necessities.

The cashier was so polite and patient he was absolutely amazing my visa card wouldn't allow full charge of you for my son so he paid the rest of the 47 cents I honestly would definitely recommend going here

Hey Mr. Manager when a "Master Photographer" that has over 3.1 million views for his photos working on behalf of Google comes into your store discouraging him from taking pictures is not the best move when he's only promoting your store. Just an FYI.

I went to the store looking for diapers for my daughter and they literally had 13 boxes no baby wipes on the shelves.. I know there is no way that many diapers can sell in one day.

The best thing about Dollar General is that you know what you are walking into. the stores are for the most part very clean. The employees are quick and easy to work whit or get help from.

It’s probably the best Dollar General in Mattoon, but I’d recommend driving to Sullivan or Neoga if you want a more positive experience with the cashiers.

Other than the poorly layed out design of the isle's where you can't pass an on coming shopper without taking out 4th of July decorations out the day after New Year's Day they carry a good selection of everyday household items. You can live with shopping any dollar general and your dollar tree stores and NO WALMART REQUIRED!! Dollar general has up'd their game over the last 5 year's and thumbs up to All of them

always out of stuff especially when they are running specials.plus they NEVER stock the coolers when its empty even when you tell them they are out of stuff and that happens at all 3 in our town

Avoid this store. Every time I have been in this location I wait at the register for several minutes while employees ignore you. Horribly managed. Not going back.

They have the employees all over the store. There never a time you check out that you don't have to wait for a cashier to come to the register.
