We had a fire in our kitchen so we had lots of suet over the entire house. Servpro came and cleaned above and beyond what we expected. They washed every dish, they clean the walls,ceilings, sky lights anywhere suet had settled. Troy and Tabitha were very professional and made sure we were satisfied with the work done. i recently had a tree fall on my house. my insurance sent out serve pro to mitigate the damages of the water that had poured into my house from roof being damaged. They came out and observed all the damages and set a date to get started on renovations. they came out to start work and complained about fleas in my house, i have never had a flea problem. they said to fog for them and they would start work. we fogged and they came back and still denied service to me, saying it was too "hazardous" and still billed me for over $1000 for doing absolutely no work. 0/10 I do not recommend. I've heard other terrible stories of this business. I gave 1 star because I cant leave none.Service: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Twice now I've had to use ServPro. Years ago residentially and today at my workplace. We had a small, contained electrical fire yesterday. Troy and Ryan were quick to return my call and to meet me for a walk through the same day and to come up with a plan. Troy and his team arrived first thing this morning and they worked diligently to get us back in operation as quickly as possible. The team was both nice and professional. Our spa looks great! I greatly appreciate Troy and his team and would refer them to friends or family if they ever were unfortunate enough to require their services. There may be cheaper options out there but ServPro's quality and thoroughness would be hard to beat and makes them worth every penny in my eyes. I cannot say enough great things about Servpro of Carbondale/Marion. They responded the morning after the fire at my home and quickly began working to clean my home and contents. John, Josh, Tabitha and their crews did excellent work and helped me every step of the way not only with their cleaning processes, but also with dealing with the insurance company. I cannot imagine trying to work through all the insurance red tape by myself. We had a house fire April 1, 2018. Smoke was throughout our house. Servpro did a wonderful job. Misty and her team were very professional and friendly. Nick was the supervisor and did a wonderful job as well. Hopefully, we will never need this service again but if we do, we will definitely use them again.

Our partially finished basement took on an inch of water on 7/16/21 as a result of a tremendous amount of rain. We called and made a claim with our insurance in a panic and they suggested ServPro’s services. We removed the standing water in the basement ourselves, removed the carpeting, and set up dehumidifiers and fans to start drying it out. A technician from ServPro was dispatched on 7/19/21 and reported “moisture everywhere.” A detailed quote was emailed to us which included over $3600 worth of services: removal of baseboards, application of anti microbial agent, “air movers,” and dehumidifiers. In doing our due diligence, we got a second opinion from SI Restoration Services who came on 7/21/21 and that tech’s meter miraculously detected no moisture anywhere. I followed him around room to room as it registered 0 on every surface, baseboards and drywall.We will not ever use ServPro’s services and will not ever recommend them to friends or family.Just as a follow-up: they made no attempts to reach out to me following the initial inspection. So the claim to "return" their phone calls related to a re-inspection is simply not true. Bottom line: follow the inspector around yourself and ask for verification of mositure levels detected. It's quite possible the company does good work, when the work is actually warranted and needed. That was not the case in my situation.

Obviously this specific franchise is full of amateurs. Got paid by insurance for mitigation that wasn't completed and stopped communicating with me. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! I will always use ServPro of Carbondale-Marion from now on. They do so much more than clean up water damage! They had special equipment to get rid of foul odors such as cigarette smoke, pet odor, etc that we had in our rental and afterwards the place smelled amazing! They also cleaned a large expensive shag rug of ours. We almost threw it away because of the smell but they were able to make it like new. ServPro was a lifesaver and really helped us out! Great people to work with!
