It took 1.5 hours to return two packing crates and I only got a small percentage of the total cost refunded which was poor communication on their employees. Returning a hammer is easy, but returning and purchasing building supplies is a major fiasco. Menards doesn’t care about contractors and they wasted my valuable time. Get a better system, but I will never do business there again!

I purchased a washing machine from here, and in less than 3 months, it stopped working. I contacted the store, and after a long process, I was able to exchange the washer for a new one of the same brand. 4 months later, the washer quit working again, and I can't get anyone to help me get it fixed. Menards if refusing to let me exchange the washer. I never heard of a washer breaking 3 to 4 times in less than 8 months. I purchased the Allstate Protection plan for $90 from Menards, and I still can't get anyone to work on it, and they won't let me exchange it. It's unfortunate with a newborn and not being able to wash clothes.

Pretty disappointed by checkout. I bought some odds and ends, and had some soda 12-packs in my cart. An older cashier moved and checked under every single one of them. I've bought soda here before several times and never been treated as if I were trying to steal something. I can't think of anything thin enough of value that could be crammed in between them. Not a good way to treat a customer.

Experience inside the store was average. The young man in the lumber yard went above and beyond and was extremely helpful to everyone he encountered while we were there.

Products and prices are good; service quality varies greatly, depending on the employees when you go there. Some give you 110%, others give a lot less.

They have about anything you need. I bought receptacle covers and lots of other things. Brought back a battery for core money. We bought a lawn mower battery a few days ago.

Went to your store on 5/2. Very clean. Very organized. Helpful staff. My one concern is how slippery your floors are. I was wearing slip-on sneakers. I had 3 close calls to falling. I finally grabbed a buggy so that I had something to hold onto. At one point we turned a corner to see another shopper who had fallen. She was visibly hurt.

Went in yesterday completely clueless on how to replace my sump pump..only had a vague idea what I needed. Both employees in the aisle were super helpful. They found me a better pump than I'd located online, made sure I had a valve I needed, and helped me figure out some issues with my current set up. Was able to replace the pump in no time when I got home thanks to their help

I can always count on Menards. The guy in the window blinds area set us up perfectly. His guidance was priceless for hanging vertical blinds and the quality of the product was exceptional. Completely satisfied.

Menard's is always a great place to go especially when you're needing something to repair, replace or build for your home. They have everything from furniture and hardware to groceries and regular home supplies. The prices are great and best of all is a rebate program. I'm not exactly sure how it works but I know my husband loves and appreciates it.

Propane refills are now by the gallon. Today I stood in line for purchase and refill request. Cashiers no longer process propane refills. Told to go to CS desk & I stood in line again. Told to take my tank to refill station, then come back to pay inside (didn’t want debit option), which I would have to stand in line again! Too much standing in line! This is not customer friendly service. Went elsewhere. Menards was once my favorite store but not after today.

I love Menards. However, there is an older gentleman that was cleaning the bathrooms this morning that was aggressively mean to me as I waited on him to clean the ladies bathroom. I wasn’t paying attention and he angrily yelled at me a few times to use the restroom. It set the tone of my family’s day out shopping at Menards. Pretty lame! This guy needs reprimanded or fired for sure.

Always a fun time.Believe it or not, the grocery selection is quite extensive. Lots of different items not found in the big grocery stores.And if you read the labels closely, they have a number of vegetarian products for meatless consumers just like me.

Well stocked and, for the most part, very helpful, friendly, respectful staff (which is something coming from an older woman, most clerks are patronizing and insulting). Great deals, like they often have rebate programs for all purchases.Sometimes it feels too big. If you have alot of projects and big dreams plan to stay over an hour.

Never buy countertops from them!!!We bought countertops, did the template, got them home (almost 2 months later even though it says 14 days) and our measurements were accurate... Perfect!However, we didn't want a backsplash and the longest piece (12ft) the back was not cut straight. I emailed them twice with no response, so I went in so that I didn't wait too long(because they have very strict agreement guidelines) and they were not helpful at all. I told them we had no way to get out back to the store, they said well we don't come to your home. I said, what am I supposed to do? They said, I don't know we have to see it. Then she asked another worker and he said, we can pick it up but you will pay the fee for us to pick it up and bring it back ($153/trip) because it's a 3rd party vendor.I'm sorry, bit how is that my problem?!?!I took my papers and went to the front, at this point I started crying because it's been a nightmare since we got the countertops home and now to have an unhelpful company...I went to from desk asked to speak to a store manager, apologizing that I'm crying, they asked what it was about - I explained the situation again. They called someone to come up to talk to me, it was the same guy from the countertop area. I looked at him with tear filled eyes and he just smiled at me. I ran out crying and couldn't catch my breath. We are good, long-standing customers... I've never been treated so poorly in my life. We will be doing our business elsewhere. Hopefully we can figure out how to fix this countertop situation so I can use my kitchen again.

Menards has everything i need for my home improvement projects.👍They carry quality products, they have decent prices, they're close to the interstate, their staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A couple employees were helping me load some stuff, they said they liked working there, which was apparent to me that everyone at menards seemed to like their job, (unlike at Walmart and some other major department stores were the employees avoid customers like the plague). I would really be hard pressed to say anything negative abou Menards... it's just an all around great place to shop..👌

Awesome warehouse type store (kind of like home depot or lowes) but with more lighting to see what is getting bought, workers looking healthier/ happier to be there, and a quicker checkout to get back to home improvements. Will shop again when in area.

I went to purchase some lumber today and went to the gate in the back. I was told I needed to go to the front of the store in order to purchase it first. So I went all the way around to the other end of the building to the cashier to buy the lumber. I was then told that I needed to go to the back of the store to get a ticket. After tha then go back to the cashier AND then I can go around to the back of the building to pick it up. Needless to say I went to home Depot where I could buy and load my lumber at one location and not have to run around the length of a football field 3 times to get lumber. The cashier at Menards just rolled her eyes and said "have a good day" when I told her that process is ridiculous and that I would just go to Home depot. I had the sku why could I not purchase the lumber and go pick it up, why is there so many steps so far from each other for a basic purchase? Well besides their "11% off everything" (that is just a store credit and not an actual cash rebate) the prices were the same at home depot and I was in and out in less than 10 mins. Menards I was there for 20 and still left with nothing. Please make it so people can purchase lumber at a cashier without having to complete a redundant step of going to the back of the store to get a "ticket" even though the customer picks it and loads it themselves anyways. Just makes no sense.

Never visited before. It's an awesome place for a homeowner. You can buy EVERYTHING you need for maintaining a home or building a home from the ground up HVAC, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and roofing and all things in between. Not to mention patio furniture grills galore plants for your garden and decorative landscaping. This particular store, I don't know about any others because this is my first visit to Menards, has some groceries, pet supplies and toys for the kids and the kids at heart.

Store employee's are usually very helpful with loading or just to find things. I don't like there 11% rebate because it takes so long to get it back but that's a company thing not this store. Everything is usually clean and stocked however if you come in on off days that they aren't usually busy they have a bunch of pallets in the middle of the aisles. Prices are about that or lower of other businesses around and that have a huge supply of lumber and other building product they actually just expanded there store so they must be doing something right.

Had to get plumping items today. Ended up replacing complete shower mixing valve system. Awesome help from there employees on how to make it a simple project. I'll never be a plumber but at least I can fix my shower at home. Happy wife now at home.

Great store to visit. My husband delivered freight there and during the unloading process I shopped inside. They have so many interesting products and beware..you buy more than what you were in to buy, because the prices are so reasonable.

Customer service is fantastic. If something is wrong, they will do their best to make it right. In saying this, I have had multiple special orders and each time my orders have not been correct or have been damaged. But each time they have accommodated me with replacement or discounts. For this custom service I give 4 stars. Hard to beat their prices also.

Found a great deal on some counter tops while we was there. Sales people was friendly and walked up to me and my wife and checked on us to see if we needed any assistance. It was a pleasant and trouble fee experience.

I asked two different people for help finding a replacement plug for my dryer. They both looked puzzled and pointed me in the wrong direction. The cashier was more helpful than either of the floor workers I asked. And neither seemed like they cared just didn't wanna be bothered with it. I got there less than 30 minutes before they close and no clue where the handsaws were or which one to get to trim off a couple of inches on house paneling. Luckily, the three different employees I came across were very helpful. The first one got me where I needed to go with no problems at all. The second one answered all my questions and helped me picked the perfect handsaw and was pretty cheap. The third one checked me out quickly and helped alot too (still not use to the register set up at Menards 😂) The main thing that truly impress me was that even though they were about to close and I basically showed up last minute, everyone still greeted me with a smile on their face, never felt rushed, and everyone made sure all my questions/needs were satisfied. I apologize for not remembering anyone's name thank you so much closing shift employees on 3/21/2022 at Marion, IL Menard's!!! 😁😁😁
