I adopted my best friend, Willow, from here in 2021. I don’t remember the man’s name who helped me pick her out, but he convinced me she was a great dog given that I’d be a first time dog owner and a college student. Man was he right! She’s the perfect dog, and I’m so glad I came to this animal control on a whim while searching for the perfect pup. They took care of getting her spayed and microchipped, and they were all super helpful and informative. Thank you to the man who helped me get her. We now do everything together, and I can’t imagine my life without her. If you’re considering adopting, check it out, I’m glad I did :-)

Day One: Dont waste your time calling their number. Horrible service, lazy, dont even want to work. Must be nice collecting a check for absolutely NOTHING. May as well handle it the way it needs myself. Try doing things properly. NOPE. Doesn't work. I Have to call and be a complete jerk, (which im not naturally) just to get a very rude reply back finally after 5x calling. All jane doe could say with attitude is they tried. Well if you tried why wasn't a courtesy call made to say hey sir, we went by at this hour an did not see them. We will return at a different time.. I mean anything is better than nothing. You all may as well close your doors because your services are useless. Don't worry. You won't hear from me again. This is Absolutely ridiculous.Day Two: After all the nonsense i did get a call back from Jane Doe just to keep it as professional as possible. This conversation was much better. The police did get involved, citations where written and HOPEFULLY this is the start to resolution. I don't like being cruel or ugly to anyone. We all have a job to do. Thank you for actually helping me this time. I appreciate the help as i dont want this to escalate to the next level and things get much worse and real messy.

These people came to my campsite told my wife they was closed over weekend I could have my dog back on Monday come Monday these people told me they done killed it sunday.. they didn't ask me to they didn't let me know they didn't do anything my dog was a service dog of 12 years n they killed it without even asking me my vets name or if I wanted it done they played God n killed my service dog of 12 years within 3 days cause it was weekend well who let the vet in to kill it if they was closed

Shannon or Shanna (she was either to incompetent to know how to take the call off of speaker phone or her unprofessionalism is too far out of control it's too late for her to even try so it is difficult to understand her garbled responses) is extremely rude and entertaining all at the same time. Especially when presented with evidence that they are fabricating unwarranted visits to my property. Bored neighbors making up stories to waste the city's time is their problem but I will happily keep recording every move and do my due diligence to end the harassment that the city provides thanks to it's ridiculous, retired residents. You do what you need to feel important and we law abiding citizens will keep reminding you otherwise.

Called them multiple times and no one answered. When we got there the doors were all open and vehicles were on the property. We tried calling out and walked the property twice and no one came. Eventually someone came walking up and had zero interest in helping us adopt one of the precious dogs. Terrible service

My daughter adopted a wonderful new puppy from here that has been rescued. The staff was so helpful and nice. Please help rescue an animal and do so from these shelters.

They helped me get my little kitty and helped me fill out the adoption papers. The animals appeared to be quite content being there and the help was great!

They were amazing. I had to get rid of my cat due to health issues and she wasn't there even 24 hours and was adopted. I was worried she would be there a long time, but she is in a good home. Caitlin was such a huge help!!!

Called the Humane Society and they told me to call here since I live in Williamson County. Even though I literally live 3 miles from this shelter, I am outside of their jurisdiction so they can't help. Whoever answered the phone was not helpful in the slightest.

Called for assistance with an injured dog (bleeding) was told by herrin police that animal control is not available. Local veterinarian will not do anything unless I pay for the animal.Was told the animal must fend for itself.Great job
