Online grocery ordering has been an epic failure for me several times. The first few, I let it go. I understand staffing issues and such.This last issue was too much. I can only warn others to be careful with pricing issues (they will not honor)Customer service with corporate (sorta) handled the situation but was unprofessional and rude.I guess you live and learn and shop elsewhere.

Fruits were not fresh. Prices were extremely high $20 for detergent and $18 for fabric softener. Couldn't find items I wanted like cinnabon coffee or turkey and cheese sandwich hot pockets. If you don't have a Kroger card you don't get a discount.

To start they have no checkouts open only self checkout. Of which only one person to help. Who just sends you to the customer service which has no employees. When one finally comes they call for a manager who never answers the pa request for assistance. 30 plus minutes of eating. No help whatever. Still no manager. I am very disappointed.

Cashier would not swipe "his" Kroger card for me. I've been there before and they have done it. I guess the man didn't like my skin color.

Stay away from the bakery. Right is a screenshot of the cake I ordered online. Left is what I actually received. It looks nothing like the photo. I did get the topper though, so that's a small plus I guess.

Kroger seriously needs to make some serious changes with there morning management. As if shopping in a hurry in morning is fun but to top it off you have ( Karen ) with her 6 inch thick classes not wanting to help a regular customer and make a scene trying to show her Authority. Very unprofessional and doesn't speak well for Kroger. Lady shouldn't be an employee let alone a manager that is on a power trip... night shift has always been more then helpful and handles issues professionally. This is the 2nd time had dealings with this lady on morning shift and will be my last I'd rather take business to Walmart from now on Kroger can keep there expired food and food that goes bad in 2 days...

Used the delivery service you have to spend over $35 for free delivery thru boost. It's a good service I recommend it.

Kroger expects you to buy groceries and eat all them within three days. No matter what you buy from this store it’s already expired or about to be within that week, ridicouls!

Historically I've had good service here. However, recently we pre-ordered from the deli for an event and arrived at the scheduled pickup time but they hadn't even started them. They asked we wait for an hour; however, we were on our way to the event and politely canceled our order.

I like the variety of food, but everything that I touch there is expired, sometimes even a year...Kroger in Herrin is smaller seems better organized and definitely more clean.

What's up with limitations on pickup items? I was going to place an order but your system wouldn't let me include bread & orange juice in my order; it said delivery only. That's pretty lame.

Kroger usually has everything I need in stock. Kroger staff will work with you to make sure your shopping needs are met. I like using the Kroger app for the digital coupons. The employees actually make a real effort to help you with questions or help locate items. The grocery pickup is so convenient. You can also order groceries to be delivered within an hour.

Several times I have contacted Kroger about the cleanliness of the store and outdated products on the shelf. There was outdated lettuce from August 6th on August 10th leaking on the boxes of organic spinach. Other items were outdated. The store is dirty. Please get it together. This used to be such a nice store. Sad.

Horrible customer service. Website says they do Western Union at 7, I went in at 7:15 and the guy behind the customer service counter didn't say a word and just walked into the back room behind the counter. I waited for a couple minutes, then one of the cashier's rudely says " they don't open until 8" I said the website says 7, and he again rudely with a tone just reiterated that they open at 8. I asked if there was someone there that could just do a money order for me, considering the only service I needed was one that opened at 7 according to the website. He says "we are able to do them at 7, but customer service doesn't open until 8" this makes absolutely no sense, and it's false advertising. If the website says 7, than anyone who walks in should be able to have it done at 7. I will never be back. Went down the road to Walmart, and got my money order in 2 minutes and was even told if I come in earlier than 7 they will go ahead and do it anyways anytime.

Clean store. Clean restroom. Excellent produce section. Staff in produce are always helpful and kind. Some bare store shelves that are out of a lot of things , but it could be a supply issue.

I was checking out last night and a family in front of me was in distress. Their card would not go through and they kept taking more and more off hoping to walk out with at least some groceries . Since the card was ran so many times it was froze leaving them unable to purchase anything . They had a young girl and she was visibly upset and hungry. The clerk, Ashley offered to purchase their groceries. it was such a great act of kindness . I know personally she probably doesn’t make that much herself as a cashier so seeing this made my day and theirs I’m sure . This girl deserves a raise or at least recognition.

This store not bad , workers are nice , but the one in Carbondale is dirty , rude workers , not clean at all . They need new management . They are so so unclean . The store has bad produce , when I asked why was rudely told” we can’t check it all” in my opinion they have bad customer service but the Marion store is good don’t appreciate workers smoking right outside the door but I guess that’s the norm in this area unfortunately

Very rude management. I had brought my service dog into the store and yes she is 12 so she is very old. She is a smaller dog so that's why she is not yet retired but she is a fully trained licensed service dog. I have been using her as a seizure and panic attack response dog as well as an asthma Assistance dog for 4 years and she has never had an accident. A lady almost ran her over with her cart while we were in the store yesterday and she pooed one tiny turd out of fright. In front of everyone the manager goes did your dog have an accident in my store? I held my head in pure embarrassment and said yes. On the verge of crying I took her harsh words of take the dog out of the store. I was in a large crowd which triggers my panic attacks and no service dog. This could have been very bad for me but they didn't seem to care. I understand health codes for god sakes I worked in food service for 7 years but she not do it on purpose and she was scared cause she almost got hit. Worst people ever

Shelves are never stocked properly, usually out of something we need. If you must go there, start their first, so you can get what they are out of somewhere else. Not enough shopping cart returns. Have to walk a long distance to help them return the cart. There self checkout is a joke, almost every other store has a better version.

Prices are high. But quality if goods is also high. Produce is as fresh as it gets. Floral dept has good , high quality , flowers and plants for sale.

Normally Kroger is full of hustle and bustle and lately it has been hard finding items in stock. I have watches several times as customers have lashed put at employees for things beyond their control. Today I encountered Becca who is lead of deli/bakery. Something she told her team as I was standing there brought tears to my eyes. She was full of compassion and caring for her customers and I applauded her because most times customer service is hard. Good job Becca! It overjoyed my heart to witness your compassion today!

Decent grocery store with good prices. Their problem is they don't always keep items in stock. They can go 3 to 4 weeks before some items are restocked. If mentioned to a manager, they claim they do not have control over inventory levels for the store. Marion will not have "Click List" because when they remodeled the store they did not make a space for it even though they knew it was a future plan.

Th is store is great. The people that works there are always helpful and friendly. I can almost always find what I'm looking for. Sometime their specials will not be there but overall it's a good shopping.experience.

Wanted a frozen chocolate cream pie. Wasn't picky of the brand. They did not have any. In fact they had very few cream pies. Went to the bakery and they didn't have any cream pies. They had some fruit pies that didn't look very appetizing. I bought a chocolate pudding cake and ice cream. I give you a 3 only because it was fast easy in and check out and the cake tasted good even tho it was not what I wanted.

Very clean produce area with very fresh product for sale.. high on some citrus items but overall my purchase was acceptable. I like Kroeger for produce better than Walmart. Pennies higher but always fresh.
