Main takeaway: Their low cost spay is a gamble, it could work totally fine or it could have lots of issues. Also, unless your cat is full grown, buy a cone elsewhere. They gave me a size small cone that was massive on my kittens and I had to modify by cutting extra holes in it two inches past the smallest hole it had in order to make it fit. I’m not sure if they just don’t have size extra small (which seems weird, since most people get cats fixed as kittens so you’d think they would have cones that fit them) or if they just didn’t bother to size correctly. Either way, don’t waste your $5 on one of their cones, spend the extra $10 at petsmart and get one that will fit.Also, one microchip is properly placed between the shoulder blades but the other is at least an inch down the scapula and impossible to miss on top of the bone when petting. I’ve injected microchips before, and if you take a second to make sure you’re in the right place, it’s not hard. To me, the misplacement says it was done in a rush. I’m hoping that as she grows it might move to the more discreet and proper location between her shoulder blades.Details: I got two 8 month old sisters spayed here on the same day. Dr. Kucera performed both procedures. When I got them back, one had a totally normal incision site that looked well-closed, but the other was more cinched in the middle with the ends loose and bunched (photos included here are from the day of the procedure). The normal incision has healed beautifully, and that cat is the crazy one you can’t keep still— she was tearing around the room and literally climbing walls two days post-op. If that was my only experience I’d be singing their praises. Unfortunately, the other one (who is much calmer and I would have thought would recover better) showed signs of infection three days post-op: she had bad-smelling discharge and was incredibly swollen. If you have any complications, they are very clear ahead of time that they won’t do anything about it and you need to take them to a different vet, so be prepared for that. I took her to Spear’s and got her antibiotics and anti-inflammatory. Two days later and her stitches popped, which considering her activity and her sisters’ activity, the problem was clearly with her stitching. Back to the vet again, and more anti-inflammatory since she was still very swollen.We’re two weeks post-op and one cat is basically fully healed, barely a line there to see, while the other is on two medications and has a ~1cm x 2cm scab and is still very swollen. We’ll probably need at least one more vet visit to ensure she heals properly.I know anything can cause infections or complications, but to me, when I look at the differences in their incision sites I’m not surprised that one got infected and had the stitches pop while the other healed perfectly. Like I said originally, it’s a gamble. It can be no problem but be prepared in case it doesn’t work out and if the incision doesn’t look right be extra vigilant however you can.

BEST LITTLE RESCUE EVER! I have adopted 2 dogs from them and it was such an easy, smooth process. Plus they get to visit with them at yearly vaccination time.

We adopted our cat from Finding Forever a couple years ago. All of the pets I saw appeared to be very healthy and well taken care of. Our little girl we brought home has been happy in her now forever home ever since. I received excellent customer service through the adoption process. This organization works Hard to raise money for the care that is needed for these sweet animals. They do it because they love getting these animals in a place they can call home.

We adopted our Rosie from Finding Forever almost two years ago. When we picked her up, we could tell that she and the other cats are well taken care of and are happy. The customer service is excellent! This organization is amazing. I truly admire and respect all of their hard work they do. We are forever grateful for them. ❤️

Located out by the fairgrounds in Marion so it was super easy to get to. Had some great stuff, employees were very nice and helpful. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good thrift store in/around Marion area.

The volunteers and employees here are amazing. They always do their best to be as friendly and helpful as possible. They take great care of the cats and kittens there as well! My daughter adopted a cat from them and she is the absolute best baby ever ❤️

DO NOT ADOPT THE CATS‼️ we had to return a cat we adopted, they did state the cat had treatment for ringworm and was checked over again, but that was NOT the case! My 2 children now have ringworm and hopefully my dog doesn’t have it ‼️ The lady was very rude and yelled at me coming through the door with this cat to return it, you guys could of at least gave me a refund for it, so I can now treat my entire house for ringworms!! Never again will I go there!!The “manager “ did yell at me ‼️ she was very rude! She was obviously upset about something already and took it out on me, for walking in with the cat…make an appointment? And wait longer for that cat to give my entire family ringworm‼️ no thank you! You were in the wrong for yelling at me and ordering me to go outside?!! I think not lady!! Most likely you all just wanted to get rid of the cat in the first place, pricing it low so it would go faster! Didn’t want to deal with the ringworm yourselves ‼️‼️

I had my Great Dane I had rescue pass at ten years old and I was devastated, the house was so lonely. I am single and disabled so I decided I wanted a smaller dog this time and found my sweet little terrier mix from Finding Forever Animal Rescue. They were calling her Katniss but I renamed her Lillie because her hair is really white and her skin is pink. She has alot of energy so I had my back yard fenced-in so she can run off some of her energy. I would encourage anyone to consider adopting a pet, you can look and find a pet to suit your lifestyle a get a wonderful best friend.

We had our cat scheduled to get neutered today my wife was bringing him to the car in the cat carrying case and he broke out we called them and asked them if we can maybe reschedule it or something and they would not help us and we already paid up front this place is a joke .... And they're always online begging for donations treat people right and maybe more people will donate ..... I wouldn't give this place two pennies to rub together .... Yeah I understand you can still work with people .... you want people to help you ... But when something happens to someone you screw them they should be able to reschedule your policies a joke ... SMH you're nothing but a keyboard warrior we'll i will make sure you get bad reviews all the time 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡 do not use these people very unprofessional go somewhere else their policies ars a joke ......

Do NOT take your cat here! I brought my cat in for neutering and notching of his ear for identification and when I picked up my cat HALF of his ear been cut off! I am shocked that a place I thought had integrity would cut up an animal's ear like this.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. I only visited for the spay/neuter program, I did not get to look at the thrift store part. From the front of the place it doesn't seem like it is that big. They have a building for the animal services and a separate building for the thrift store I believe, which is the same building you fill out the spay/neuter paperwork. The facility was very clean and well kept from what I could tell. I plan on going back to browse the thrift shop, see the different items and prices.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with this place and their wonderful staff. I adopted a kitten from them last year and shop in their thrift store regularly to find great deals as well as help raise money for the animals they care for. Highly recommend it to any animal or thrift lovers out there!!

Some great finds at the shop with great prices. They are usually very busy. It's a great place to get your cats spayed/neutered at reasonable prices. They have a clinic next door. Check out their website. It has good info for days and times. Best place for reserving spots for multiple spay/neuters.

My very, very favorite thrift store! Rarely do I leave without a purchase. My favorite items are 5 books for a buck! Have also found great deals on office supplies and picture frames! I try to go once a week. The store never disappoints. I also donate all my "stuff" to this worthy cause.

They are friendly, helpful, reasonably priced on most things. I WISH I could give a #5 rating but they have raised their prices on jewelry quite a bit, some high end clothes are over-priced. I took off a point for that,and another point off for disorganization of clothes, there are many of us out here that struggle to stay focused if the colors are mixed. Doe's anyone else feel the same? There may be space restrictions that Factor in.I DO LIKE THIS PLACE and continue shopping there, I just don't buy as much since the prices went up.

Went to the thrift shop just to find some tanks to wear around the farm. And all regular priced clothing was 4 for $1.00 along with books, shoes and other items. Not bad. They even have a few items for you fur babies to wear. Plus we got to take a peek at the kitties they have up for adoption! So cute.

I had a wonderful experience in dealing with the rescue. Adopted a 4 y/o dog and she is just amazing. All the vaccination paperwork is correct, and my vet was pleased with her care while at the rescue.

Although I appreciate that we have a low cost s/n clinic in the area, and understand how exhausting rescue can be, I just have some constructive criticism. Please try and be more patient with people coming in who actually are responsible owners and caretakers. I know there are some lousy people out there who contribute to overpopulation, however the people in line to get s/n certificates care and are on your side. Being polite, patient, a thank you and a smile go a long way to make them also feel appreciated. Make it a positive experience so owners/caretakers keep up the great work, refer and donate. So, please take a breath sometimes and realize people are in line because we want to make a difference just like you. It could be a great opportunity to gain more support and volunteers. Thanks for what you do! You are appreciated.

I think for the prices on ALL THE COOL AND NEEDED stuffs Ive gotten there ALONE makes it a great place! But the fact they are into saving the lives of animals . Making a better life for tiny creatures needing help is a feet that is not to easily achieved. I feel good about shopping there. MAYBE my dollars are helping. I pray so. My brother to. He spends weekly there. And I like all the stuff he's acquired and enjoys and uses and actually NEEDED . Its a good cause ! Me and mine will keep going to get things and help. I'd suggest going there TO ANYONE. Good people doing very good things there. FACT.
