I think we got lucky here and found the best place in town! They check all the boxes - outstanding service, great prices, and well done food.We were super hungry, so we ordered two meals each. The waitress was friendly and on top of everything. The omelets and French toast were the best things we tried here.And if you're a fan of the Andy Griffith Show, this whole place is themed after that (who knows why).

This place is just a little less than fine. We ordered a fair amount of items but could finish anything, including the soup. Friendly people and everything is served hot… everything is understated and underwhelming. As far as diners go, there are several places in the area to try first.

I've visited this restaurant many times and have always received A+ service. Multiple checks on how we were doing, don't rush you out the door, respectful. Food is always delicious and more than enough. Keep it up!Update 5/21: I do feel like the restaurant can be quite loud at times. Which makes it hard for someone with anxiety. Similar to the noise at cracker barrel if you know what I mean. Still good but I do feel like the staff could be a bit more professional.

Open for business! You should stop and eat! Best owner and staff, so friendly and helpful! We were on a road trip from St. Louis and I googled best food and there it was! Hubs got Reuben and I got the house specialty chicken And O M G! I’m a southerner but that was some of the best and freshest chicken and sweet tater fries ever, plus fresh potato soup and bread! You could split a plate because they give you so much food!I’m truly happy we stopped and we will be back. It’s a charming small town as well!

Had lunch there the other day. Ordered a fish sandwich which came out hot enough to burn my mouth (which is fine, glad to know it was cooked thoroughly). Sandwich was alright and it came with a huge plate of fries. The fries were good too. All in all was a pleasant experience. I would eat there again.

Mayberry Junction in Manteno Illinois is a wonderful place to come and enjoy a quiet and peaceful meal. The food is fantastic and the service is amazing. Our waitress Kim is such a pleasant person and very polite. The atmosphere is beautiful and the surroundings are very serene, I will be again no doubt. If I could give 10 stars that wouldn't be enough, I highly recommend Mayberry Junction.

A rare jem of a place. Been there twice so far & I honestly couldn't be happier. We were greeted at the door with a smile & a table immediately. Everything was clean & we never had to wait for anything. Our server was honestly the best I've ever experienced. She was so down to earth & so funny. Never met her before but I felt like we could just talk to her all day. Just super friendly & just a fireball! She was cracking jokes with my brother & even started to feed him lol. I really got a kick out of that! Everyone else there that helped out was great as well. The food came out in maybe 10 minutes & it was delicious! It's a 35 minute trip to go there, but the service & the food are worth it. If you are in the area, stop by. I'll definitely be back!
