I highly encourage you not to deal with this place, Carrie the manager amazes me how she has a job, she ruined my daughters birthday because I chose this location as a holding facility for FedEx and FedEx told me my package is there , it's been there since 02/22/24 and I must've called 20 times to see if it's there and every time she insisted it's not, I begged her to help me because it was a surprise birthday gift for my daughter, finally today the FedEx driver went to the store and pointed out the package on the counter, that's 4 days later, she ruined the party yesterday for me yesterday for

Another example of a staff that seems bored with customers and who are obviously ungrateful that people shop there. It's becoming a pandemic of rudeness, discourtesy and plain lousy customer service. This particular store is staffed with people that would have been of more service, had they stayed at home.Forget trying to call the store. I would recommend going here, if there's no other option available to you. Otherwise, look for an establishment that is genuinely happy to have your business.

Love the store because the prices are good you cannot eat cleaning supplies or Paper Supply prices anywhere else. Again you have to watch prices on other items that you not totally familiar with but on the whole of they save you a lot of money. The only complaint I have about Dollar General is that they're never fully stocked and there's always stack boxes in the aisles that have not been put away and sometimes they're there for a couple of days. I know that because I go to Dollar General quite often. The help on any given day will be from excellent to they don't give a damn depending who's working. Please put the stock on the shelves so we can buy what we come in to buy and a smile would never hurt you.

Just recently downloaded the app. Didn’t realize had to “clip’ the coupons. So when they didn’t come off the bill I inquired about it. The cashier called the manager who I seemed to be inconveniencing. Kept huffing like I was bothering her. When I asked her how to “clip” the coupon she huffed at me again and didn’t own up to it when I called her out on it. Also I waited in line a long time before being noticed and never said a word about it. RUDE.

The place is nice. Really good variety for a small dollar store. My only complaint is that they need more help at checkout. Every time I go I have to wait too long. But, it's close and inexpensive and most of the employees are friendly.

May have given it more stars had I been able to even go there. Attempted to call numerous times within a 2 hour time frame. It would ring ONCE, then an automated message saying how busy they are, try again later. Not even put on hold for next available associate! I just want to know if they have those motorized carts for customers. I am unable to walk well due to a recent stroke and need to shop there.

Not totally happy with this particular Dollar General. It's usually very messy with large carts full of inventory parked throughout the store. I spend too much time wandering around looking for items I've purchased in the past, only to find them moved (again) or not there at all. The focus seems to be on "seasonal" items and regular stock nill. The Clearance area is always a mess, disorganized and most of the items aren't even marked. Also discontinued items that are regularly priced are mixed in with the clearance items and you have no idea what the price really is until you go to check out. You think you have something marked down only to find out that it's not. Also the prices are getting higher and higher. Not so much a "dollar in general" type store anymore. For the most part, I avoid this store and go to another next town over. You need to clean up the act here at the Manteno store.

This store would be a much better experience if it weren't for the tall male manager of whom I have failed to get his name. He is never pleasant and if he's at the register he doesn't say thank you or anything like the other employees do.

Employees are usually very overworked, meaning long lines, long waits. Definately not a "Get in and get out" type of place..Lets put it this way, if you stop in there after your work lunch because you need a bottle of Tylenol for your headache, you might lose your job because you aren't going anywhere for awhile.

I came here to read the reviews about the employees. The cashier was insanely rude to me, as I was checking out. It was early in the morning, and I was the only one in the store. What a way to start the day with a rude cashier!

This DG usually has a variety of items in stock. They often have markdown, sale and clearance items available, and most of the employees are positive and pleasant.

There is one manager there and when I walk into the store she gives me the dirtiest look from head to toe this manager looks at me like she wants to hurt me and I don't understand it I have tried to be nice to her and she just sticks her nose in the air and says nothing I do not understand how they can have a manager that acts in such a way!

Management needs to allow more time to put stuff away. Always a ton of stuff in the Isles it would suck if you were in a wheelchair.
